In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Summer confronts Sally, Nick and Adam get some things out in the open, and something Billy says makes Phyllis decide to go in with Jeremy on his plan to do no good to Diane.
In the previous episode, Phyllis got sloppy drunk and her friends tried to talk her down, Jack asked Diane to marry him and Adam is upset that he’s not more a part of Sally’s life, and meanwhile, Mariah shows photos of her newborn baby girl.

At the Abbott cabin, Diane doesn’t think Jack’s proposal is real. He tries to convince her it is and then says he’ll be right back.
Diane flashes to meeting Jack again for the first time in LA and how he told her he’d never forgive her for ripping Kyle’s heart out, and other days when it was tough on her to wait for forgiveness.
Phyllis wakes up in Stark’s room at Grand Phoenix.
She holds her head in her hands and remembers leaving the hotel and hearing a car.
She’s upset, not knowing what she did.
He tells her he picked her up off the street after watching her stumble out of the hotel lobby.
He decided to keep an eye on her. “I saved your life,” he says. She passed out in the midst of cars in the street. “Oh my God,” She says.
He tells her he handled the security tape so it looks like she just fell.
He thinks if it got out, people would talk. She says people always talk about her. He hasn’t much leverage.
She assumes he is threatening and coercing her into doing his bidding, but she won’t have that.
Adam drinks alone at Society and remembers Sally telling him not to check in, and Nick agreeing he’ll take care of whatever Sally needs.
Nick appears and looks at the drink on the table.
“Look at that. Twice in one day.” Nick decides to sit and wait for takeout so he can discuss Sally’s situation.
Nick thinks his brother’s in a tough spot and sympathizes with him. “Um. Thank you?”
Adam says, scrunching his brow. He knows the baby doesn’t change anything between them.
He’s not looking to interfere with their relationship but he wants to be a father to the baby.
That makes Nick happy but he claims he’s not at all worried about his relationship with Sally. His concern is for her well-being.
She was feeling pressured by him and doesn’t need the stress. Adam thinks he’s warning him to back off but Nick says he’s not threatening him.
He asks his brother to ask himself what Sally wants. Adam says he didn’t think he was capable of change but Dad didn’t agree and these last few months have had a profound effect on him.
He had to deal with the consequences of his break up with Sally and the job change and certain struggles a friend has had.
He sees things in everyone, including Nick that has made him want to rise to the occasion.
At Crimson Lights, Sally makes small talk with Summer who wants to discuss her dad.
She doesn’t know what’s going on between them so Sally reveals there’s something she should know.
She’s pregnant. Summer’s shocked.
She’s pregnant with her sibling. Sally says no, it’s not his kid.
She assumes it’s Adam when Sally explains it was goodbye sex.
Nick’s supportive. Summer thinks she must have hurt him. Sally says he was disappointed.
But they’re not breaking up. Summer calls her selfish. She thinks Sally’s using Nick as a shield to protect herself from Adam. Sally disagrees. They’ve a deep connection and have real feelings.
Summer thinks Sally is only capable of creating chaos and her dad doesn’t deserve it.

Gina Roma back for Y&R’s 50th anniversary
Kyle runs into Billy at the lobby of Grand Phoenix. They discuss Jack and Diane’s romantic getaway and that Diane moved in. Billy heard.
Jack’s pretty excited and finds it crazy that they found each other after all these years.
He’s happy for his brother. Kyle’s glad since not everyone is thrilled.
He’s worried his mom will get hurt even more than his dad.
She’s trying to be a better person and he doesn’t doubt she has feelings for him but…Billy gets it.
It’s hard to get away from the past.
Bill says Jill wasn’t a maternal presence in his life. He broke the record for being the youngest kid to be sent to boarding school.
She wasn’t interested in being a mom but he had an amazing father. Kyle gets it. Billy knows he’s protecting himself, too.
Kyle finds this conversation weird since Billy usually isn’t so open with him.
Neither men are comfortable so Kyle is ready to leave. Billy asks if he’ll tell his dad that he’s thinking about his proposal.
Back at the Abbott cabin, Diane still waits for jack while she flashes back to her relationship with Jack this time around and his eventual forgiveness.
She receives a text from Stark that shakes her up.
He tells her she can’t hide from him forever.
She clutches her cell phone, all up in arms.
Jack returns with champagne and they toast to her new life and the changes she brought to his.
He knows they’ll have a spectacular future.
He gets down on one knee and proposes with a ring. She loves him and calls him romantic.
Nothing would make her happier but she can’t marry him.
It wouldn’t be fair to him or his family since she has a target on her back.
Jack convinces her to marry him and puts the ring on her finger and they kiss.
Back in Stark’s room, he puts his phone away and gets Phyllis water. He suggests she examines what brought her here.
She balks at getting a lecture from a felon. He shrugs. He knows what it’s like to let things fester.
He was consumed with bitterness when he was first in prison.
He turned it into revenge and thinks Phyllis should do the same and help bring her down. She can’t.
It’d rock her world in a bad way. She’d lose everything. He thinks she already has.
She gets her coat and says she doesn’t think his plan will work but she’ll give it thought. He hopes she does since he’d hate her to lose out.
Phyllis creeps out of the elevator and sees Billy at the lobby of the Grand Phoenix. He asks how she is. She asks him to tell her where Jack is.
Billy says he’s on a romantic vacation with Diane. She smiles.
Billy says things are rolling along for them. Later, she returns to Stark’s room. “I’m in,” she says.
