In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Lily’s annoyed when Billy tries to check in on Chelsea, Connor’s been bullied, and Kyle learns more about his mother’s partnership with Tucker.
In the previous episode, Chelsea reached out to Lily and Billy found Victoria’s move despicable, while Nate asked Elena to come back to Newman Media.

At Society, Lily tells Billy that the conversation with Chelsea went well.
He prods for more and she shrugs.
Billy wants to check on her.
Lily suggests she might want space.
“Or maybe something is wrong.”
She’s not happy when he goes off to call Chelsea.
From home, Chelsea ignores Billy’s call and flashes to talking to Lily about how she worked hard to be here.
That Billy’s not the only person who can help her.
Back at Society, Lily finds Daniel, Phyllis and Summer dining.
Phyllis invites her to dinner but Lily is waiting on Billy.
She sits and Phyllis asks about her hotel.
Lily says it’s fine.
Phyllis heard Nate jumped ship. Both she and Summer call it justice that he took Sally’s job.
Daniel questions them.
Phyllis says she got the job because of Adam.
She also heard Bily might be leaving CW.
Lily smiles and says yeah, but they’re stronger than ever.
“Good PR answer,” Phyllis says with a laugh.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon knows Adam wants to be a part of the process of Chelsea’s recovery.
She can tell he’s turning this into a contest of who is more helpful to her. Him or Billy.
Adam bites, “What am I supposed to do? Step aside so Billy can play the hero?”
Sharon says he’s turning into something it’s not. Sharon’s glad the woman has extra support.
Adam wants them to work as parents on helping Conor through it.
Sharon understands. She’s not taking sides. She’s on Chelsea’s.
She asks him not to make this about their history but about Chelsea.
Talk turns to Johnny and his sudden interest in talking to her.
Probably Billy’s crediting himself. Sharon thinks Adam sounds jealous.
He doesn’t like that and takes off.
Nikki goes to Ashley’s to tell her Talia Morgan is out.
She felt it was a smear campaign. Ashley lets Nikki know that if she goes to war with Diane, Jack said she was going to war with him, too.
Nikki’s not happy about that and gets it if this changes things.
Will she walk away? Not a chance in hell, Ash says.
They just have to be quiet about it. Ash isn’t sure if they want to be in direct contact with Stark.
He’s dangerous. It drives Nikki mad that she’s got Jack under her thumb. Ashley complains that she had to leave Thanksgiving dinner because she infiltrated their celebration.
Nikki worries she’ll end up living there again.
Ashley says that won’t happen, but since Stark’s back, Diane will use Harrison and the rest of the family to protect herself.
They wonder if Stark really will go after the others.
Ashley doesn’t want that or Diane to be in danger.
Nikki says Jack and Victor will deal with threats. Ashley hates to hand it over to the men.
At Jabot, Jack tells Diane he laid down the law with Ashley and told her to stop going after her.
Diane’s touched. It means everything to her.
She embraces him and Kyle interrupts.
They tell their son that Nikki, Ashley and Phyllis upped their attack against them.
Diane borrows Jack’s office to tell Kyle about her deal with Tucker.
She didn’t tell him everything. He has another goal to takeover Jabot. “Oh.” Kyle says.
He’s not surprised. She admits he asked her to find out the company’s financial situation but she never did.
Jack appears. They fill him in on the rest. Kyle asks if it’s a big deal.
His mom’s wondering what they’ll do with the information now that Stark’s out of prison.
He’s abusive and unpredictable. She cries.
She worries he’ll hurt her.
It puts him and Harrison at risk. He got caught for a white-collar crime but that’s not all he’s done.
Kyle’s pissed. Jack says not to worry.
He’ll protect them. Kyle leaves and Diane asks Jack to lunch. He asks her to dinner instead.

Chelsea stares at the phone and ignores Billy’s call, He leaves a message.
Connor shows up, angry. She questions him.
He got into a fight at school about her.
Someone called her “crazy.” Chelsea’s sorry he had to hear it.
Some people are just mean.
Some handle things differently.
She won’t justify it.
She says she has an illness and is getting treatment but it’s a process.
She admits that every family has their own stress or embarrassment.
Bullies zone in on that to goad you into fighting.
They don’t have to fall for it. Connor asks what he does if it hurts.
She says to talk to him, or his dad or counsellor at school.
She loves him. Adam arrives and Chelsea suggests they have a family talk.
Connor repeats what happened at school and Adam goes on the defensive.
He wants the kid’s name but Chelsea calms him down.
She sends Connor to finish homework and the parents talk about what to do.
They disagree at first but she calms him down. They embrace and she goes to make a snack for Connor.
Billy sits with Lily and the others at Society. Phyllis heard he’s leaving CW.
They talk about Daniel’s pitch and how Lily’s interested. He asks about it but Phyllis laughs.
He’s not privy to that anymore that he’s left.
His mom says entrepreneurship is in his blood like her.
Summer’s dying to hear about it.
He’s been so secretive.
She wants a hint but Lily stops him. Billy says he hasn’t heard of it. Lily hasn’t mentioned this.
She sips her tea and says they’ve been busy “with other things.”
Lily goes to take a call and Phyllis and Summer go home while Daniel tells Billy that he hasn’t changed a bit.
Is that an insult? Daniel says no, but he walked out in the middle of a transition at work.
Lily doesn’t seem thrilled. Billy says it’s none of his business. “Fair enough,” Daniel says.
He admits he’s also surprised that they’re a serious thing.
She thought Lily would opt for someone more steady, more reliable. Old habits die hard. Lily returns and the men go silent.
Summer arrives at Jabot. Kyle fills her in on what Diane said earlier.
She’s angry that he agreed to keep the war between Nikki, Phyllis and Ashley against Diane from her.
“I’m telling you, Summer, this has to stop now,” he says about the war on his mama.
Phyllis arrives at the Abbott’s and tells Nikki and Ashley it’s done.
She spoke to Stark anonymously.
She told him it was Diane that sent him to prison.
Nikki raises a hand to her mouth, in shock.
