In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Billy interrupts as Lily and Daniel catch up, and Adam shows up at Sally’s drunk.
In the previous episode, Noah and Sharon cry over the miscarriage Devon, Lily, Noah and Adam are glum, and Lily doesn’t like how Billy’s behaving.

Billy shows up at Crimson Lights place to ask how it went with Connor.
It must have been hard on her. She tells him that her kid figured it out on his own.
Billy hopes that wasn’t too jarring that he knew what suicide was. Billy’s proud of her. She has a lot to be thankful for she says, placing her hand on his.
At Society, Daniel and Lily embrace.
He’s there to spend Thanksgiving with his parents.
Lily asks if Heather and Lucy are with him but he says they’re in Europe. They talk about the good old days when they ran away and worked for a beachfront cafe in itchy banana costumes. 
They laugh and he says he’s impressed with her accomplishments. She talks about his painting. He’s still creating but took a break.
He does have some ideas and likes the direction he’s headed in. “Does it involve a banana costume?” He laughs.
He read she’s with Billy. She says it’s true and she was his boss for a time. She says they’ve different styles and ideas.
Daniel thinks that means clashes. She says yeah but it worked. “Until it didn’t,” Daniel says. He read the Ashland Locke retraction story.
She says that wasn’t entirely his fault. He thinks it’s why she lost ChancComm but she says it was a factor.
She alludes to there being more incidents but wonders why all the questions.
He’s just trying to stay informed. He looks her over. “Lily, you look…” Lily looks up and sees Billy who says it’s a hell of a surprise to see Daniel. They talk about meeting again and he wants to discuss something to do with work.
She says she’ll have her assistant call. Once he’s gone, she grins to herself. He calls Daniel her seat filler and she balks at that.
It wasn’t exactly like that. She thinks they should help Sharon at the coffee house and to the Abbott’s for dinner and Devon’s for dessert. He’s in. He asks if they can invite Chelsea and Connor but she doesn’t think so. They should see how things go.
At the Glam club, Adam asks Sally to marry him.
She tells him he’s drunk and should stop before he makes things worse.
Adam insists this is what he wants. What they both want. He’s sorry he didn’t take this step before.
“That makes sense to you?” She asks.
He talks about their connection and it can’t be broken.
She tears up and reminds him he played games and lost.
Now, he’s pulling out all the stops. She moves to leave and he grabs her arm to stop her.
He has more to say but Nick butts in and tells his brother to get his hands off of Sally.
Sally tells Adam she listened to him and now she wants to go. She and Nick take off.
Diane lets herself into the Abbott mansion.
Ashley says, “Oh my God. You don’t even knock anymore.”
Diane’s looking for Jack but he’s not there.
She can tell she’s looking for an alliance. She offers a ride to the airport but Diane’s not going anywhere.
She has the truth behind her. Ashley can’t believe she said that with a straight face.
Diane claims Jack believes in her. She thinks Ashley’s letting the other women do her dirty work and she knows she’s colluding with Tucker.
Ashley says her going whining to her brother is not as effective as it was.
His goodwill toward her is waning. They’re all sick of her lies. “It’s boring.”
Diane thinks she sounds petty. Ashley says she should be worried that Jeremy Stark’s about to get out of prison but Diane thinks Ashley should be worried about that.
Diane says she doesn’t know the full story. Ashley asks why it’d be dangerous for her.
Diane says he’s ruthless and she’s putting a target on her back. If Stark causes problems for her, it’ll affect the whole family.
Ashley is grossed out. She’s shameless. “You’re basically using your own grandson as a human shield.”
Ash thinks she’s scared and she should be. She wants her to run before it’s too late.

Jack visits Tucker at the Grand Phoenix. Whatever he’s planning isn’t going to work. Tucker’s calm.
He asks Jack if he wants a drink. Jack turns him down and knows he’s after Jabot.
Tucker shrugs him off. Jack thinks his true goal is winning Jabot, not Ashley. She’s being used to get to his company.
Tucker says he needs to pour himself a second drink. “This is going to be a two-drink minimum conversation.”
Tucker says he’s incapable of seeing the big picture. Tucker says he wants Ashley back, which is why he told her about Diane’s little secrets.
Apparently, Diane’s been filling Jack’s head. Jack ignores him and again thinks he knows his intentions.
Tucker doesn’t think so. He calls it a fishing expedition and doesn’t think Jack alone is a match for him.
Jack asks if it’d be easier to tell him he’s not after his company. Tucker’s having too much fun watching him sweat.
In her suite at the Grand Phoenix, Nick is sorry for what went down tonight. She tells him about the proposal.
Why would he do it in public and half drunk? Nick thinks he’ll do anything to end their relationship but it won’t work.
He hugs her. She likes this. She likes them. So does he.
He’s heading home to Christian but says he’ll be thinking about her.
She feels the same. They kiss.
Once Nick’s gone, Adam turns up. He wants more booze but she says no and tells him this isn’t romantic.
Why would he propose half-drunk, while she was with Nick? Adam says they make sense.
They’re magic and he doesn’t get why she’d rob herself of that. She tells him he’s drunk. He’s never had this much clarity about anything in his life. He’s never been this in synch with anyone. “That was before,” she says.
He knows he screwed things up. He says he did that for her because he loved her. “You’re perfect.” She laugh-cries.
Now she knows he’s drunk. He knows she has flaws and is complicated like a wildfire. A beautiful mess.
He loves her. He knows she’s afraid to show that side with Nick and thinks she’s in it to hurt him.
For Nick, it’s just about the sex. She calls that insulting. He thinks they’re using each other. He’s offering her love and hates to see her “settle for…that.” Adam doesn’t think he’ll treat her the way she deserves.
He wants a replacement for Sharon who will always have his heart.
That’s why it didn’t turn out for him and Phyllis or Chelsea. At the mention of Chelsea, he seems to crumble a little.
She questions him. He says his ex is going through a lot. Adam asks her to think about his proposal which was from the heart.
“Know that I love you,” he says before he goes.
Jack returns home and chastizes Diane and Ashley for arguing while there are others in the house who could overhear them.
He says he was just with Tucker and is on Diane’s side on this.
The man is hiding something.
Back at Crimson Lights, Nick stops Chelsea. She tells him she’s living upstairs. He asks what she’s doing for Thanksgiving.
She’s not sure yet. He has to pick up treats for Christian he says and hopes she has a nice Thanksgiving. She goes and Nick returns with the goodies and runs into Daniel.
They’re happy to see each other and Nick thinks Summer and Phyllis will be thrilled to see him. Daniel is there for the holidays. Nick learns Daniel’s alone.
