In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Billy refuses to back away from Chelsea, Lily and Billy continue to get close, Diane gets paranoid, and Audra wonders what Tucker is planning next. In the previous episode, Nick was jealous Sally slept with Adam, Jack asked Diane to stay with him, and Daniel didn’t think Lily belonged with Billy.

At the Abbott estate, Diane tells Jack she will stay in one of his guest rooms. She doesn’t know what she would do without him.
She weeps about how tired she is. Every obstacle she has overcome has resulted in another one falling into its place.
Jack thinks she’s made giant strides and faced her challenges with grace and elegance.
She gives him the credit for that. It’s been so long since someone cared for her.
He holds her and strokes her hair as she sobs.
They are interrupted by a text. He has to leave to deal with it.
“What happened?” she asks. He needs to get some numbers to a colleague in the Philippines.
Jack assures her the house has a security system and urges her to remain calm.
Left alone, Diane nervously peers out the window when she hears a noise.
When Jack gets to Jabot, Phyllis shows up in his office to vent about her latest fight with Diane.
“She was insane!” she complains, adding a complaint about Jack supporting her.
He demands to know if she reached out to Stark. She dumps her phone on his desk and tells him to search it.
Jack already knows how well she covers her tracks and asks flatly if she called Stark.
Phyllis insists she’s one hundred percent right about Diane.
Jack is furious that Stark came to his front door and brought Harrison into this. If someone helped him find where Harrison lives, they need to take responsibility.
They scream in each other’s faces about this until Jack declares he’s done.
He’s come to regret letting her into the building at all. She’s incapable of giving Diane a moment of kindness.
Phyllis insists none of this is her fault.
He accuses her of focusing her vengeance and hatred on Diane.
He’s watched her abuse her position at Marchetti for months but no more.
That company is a subsidiary of Jabot. If he finds out she reached out to Stark, he will have her thrown out of the company and building so fast her head will spin.
When Jack gets home, he startles Diane as she sleeps on the couch. She admits she’s been on edge and tried to wait up for him.
He assures her she is safe there and holds her.
Audra joins Tucker in his suite. He tells her that Stark is in Genoa City, no doubt to make Diane squirm.
She wonders if he should be wearing a bulletproof vest. Serving her a drink, he says he’s never even spoken to Stark.
They dealt with some of the same people but that was it. He’d like to use him to his advantage and was hoping Ashley would lure him to town.
“What are you up to?” she asks.

Lily is surprised when Daniel takes her to Crimson Lights for dessert. He remembers how much she loves that.
She asks for a red velvet cupcake and a cappuccino. She needs to get back to work.
As they chuckle, Billy wanders in and interrupts.
Daniel asks if he wants to join them. Sharon swans in and leads him over to look at the menu.
Lily and Billy discuss their plans for the evening, and he tells her he’s been cheering up Chelsea.
When he suggests they grab dessert and head home, she says she needs to get back to work.
He wants to talk about the conversation she had with Chelsea and can’t believe she would tell someone so vulnerable that she was too dependent.
She’s sorry she took it that way, but it wasn’t the intention. Lily tells him not to wait up.
After he takes off, Lily sits and thinks. Daniel joins her and asks truth or dare?
She takes truth and he asks if their dinner is causing problems with dinner.
Laughing nervously, she insists all is well.
Sharon serves their cupcakes and they chat about how they like to work at night.
He says there is a fine line between being a night owl and early bird. He gets grand visions of his future and can’t stop working even when he’s running on fumes.
Daniel tells her he had the idea for a service where you could hire your own entourage.
She says that sounds fun, but not cost-effective.
Noah bumps into Adam at The Glam Club. The Newman assures him he won’t be making another scene with his brother.
Audra shows up to outmope Noah.
He can’t stop kicking himself over how their relationship ended. He’s glad he knows about the miscarriage now. He offers her an apology or whatever else she wants.
“You. I want you,” she tells him.
He tells her this conversation can’t happen since he has a girlfriend.
She admits that she never got over him. They were fire and this is their chance to try again and be better, stronger, brighter.
He says their relationship was chaos and she says that’s what love is.
“We’re not finished with each other,” she says.
She can see it whenever she looks in his eyes and kisses him.
Pushing her away, he declares this isn’t going to happen.
She chases him around and says that what they have isn’t over. Their kiss felt like nothing had changed.
He claims he just got caught up in a moment and reminds her of their problems.
Nothing will change the reason they broke up.
Noah is finally happy and in a good place. There is no future for them.
“Message received,” she says, wandering off.
Billy blows in and isn’t thrilled to see Adam.
They start taunting each other. Adam wonders if Lily has dumped him yet for spending all his time with another woman.
Sitting down, Billy admits he’s been spending time with Chelsea because he’s concerned about her. He’s also concerned about Connor.
Adam assures him they’ve handled that as a family already.
They get territorial. Billy says that, unfortunately, they are connected.
Adam says he’s there now for whatever she needs and it’s time for Billy to take a big step back.
The Abbott refuses and suggests Chelsea would resent him trying to dictate who makes up her support system.
Adam refuses to be shut out.
Billy starts listing all of Adam’s flaws and how no one can trust him because he always results to fraud and deception.
The Newman tells him to call when he gets cured of his delusions of grandeur.
Once Adam is gone, Noah walks over and Billy tells him he’s had better nights. He warns him that his uncle is slipping back into his dark prince ways.
Audra returns to Tucker’s suite. He guesses things aren’t working out with Noah.
He thought his evening was drawing to an end.
She takes off her coat, revealing she’s only wearing a bra.
They make out.
Adam wanders into Crimson Lights and bumps into Daniel and Lily.
He notes it’s unsurprising to see her taking a break from Billy.
She gets defensive when he brings up Chelsea and walks out.
