At Devon’s penthouse, Lily tells him that she and Jill understand his personal reasons for wanting to take his company back…
But Jill is determined to move ahead with the IPO. If they split up the companies, it could crush the success of their offering. So they are rejecting his bid to dissolve the merger.
“Cool. I guess you are going to make this ugly,” he says.
She tells him that’s not necessary but he sees no way out. Lily gives him her bid to rebrand the company and buy him out.
That will give him the chance to create a brand new company with no acrimony.
He paces and sighs. It’s hard for him to see how this benefits him. She and Jill aren’t giving up anything.
She points out she’s giving up the chance to work with him. She’s sure if they go to court, it will negatively affect their relationship.
He accuses her of holding his company hostage and making a professional disagreement into a personal want.
They rehash how things have changed since the merger. She insists it’s not a bad deal. He doesn’t care about the money.
She thinks he should focus on building a new legacy than fighting a lawsuit he might lose.
Lily encourages him to think this over. Whatever they do next will change their lives. They should do something that would make their dad proud.

Tessa and Mariah show up and Sharon welcomes them back, asking how things went with the potential birth mother.
They tell her all about Dephine and why she decided adoption was the best thing for her baby. She had a million questions for them.

Delphine agreed to let them adopt the baby. Sharon is thrilled and starts hugging them.
They get hugs from Abby too.
There are still a million more hurdles to clear but the wives just want to celebrate their good fortune today. They are armed for the worst but hoping for the best.
Holding Tessa’s hand, Mariah says that no matter what, they will have a child one day. Abby says this is just like when they got together to have a baby.
Having Dom made Mariah realize she wanted a child. Tessa wants nothing more than to have one with her. They kiss.
As Sharon and Tessa get coffee, Mariah notices Abby looks upset. They step out to the patio to talk.

She’s still very uncomfortable with this situation.
Victoria won’t stop her son from seeing her, but she still feels very protective. She can’t forget how devastated he was when he learned she is his biological mother. All of this is moving too fast.
