In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Noah asks Nick about his relationship with Sally, Chloe urges Sally to speak to Nick about her pregnancy, and Billy and Chelsea watch the dumbest movie ever made. In the previous episode, Lily broke up with Billy, Victor thought Chelsea had secrets, and Chance yelled at Abby for being with the man who ruined their marriage.

Chelsea is surprised to find Billy sitting on the floor in the apartment hallway under the coffee poster. He claims he’s okay and she insists he come inside.
Once he’s on her couch, he tells her things are over with Lily.
After handing him a glass of water, she urges him to talk. He doesn’t want to.
She’s really sorry. He assures her this is all on him.
“Sometimes things aren’t anybody’s fault,” she says, before suggesting they watch a movie and have a snack. He’s not up to that.
She thinks they should watch the dumbest movie of all time. He rubs his eyes and gives in.
They make popcorn and turn on the movie. Laughing through it, they kick off their boots and he falls asleep.
As he dreams, he says her name and then wakes up with a start. She tells him he called out her name in a nightmare.
Chelsea assumes he was dreaming of their night on the roof.
After she gives him more water, she asks how he experienced the worst night of her life. He downplays it and doesn’t want to burden her when she has a lot going on.
She admits that it took her a long time to notice it must have been hard on him. She feels burdened by not knowing how it affected him.
Billy admits he felt fear and guilt. He’s the one who showed her the roof to begin with.
If he hadn’t said the right things, he wouldn’t be able to save her just like he failed to save Delia.
In a way, this has been a do-over, a second chance to do the right thing. Every night, he dreams that he fails to save her and it leaves his heart wrapped in a fist.
She hates that what he witnessed put him through all that. Bill says losing her would have caused a lot of pain. The world is a lot more fun with her in it.
He wouldn’t change having her as the bright spot in his day for anything. She tells him the world is better with him in it too.
Lily is shivering in the park when Daniel startles her.
As they look out at the city, he tells her this is one of his favorite spots, one that always stimulates him creatively. He’s glad they haven’t turned the place into condos yet.
Seeing that she’s upset, he wonders if she would prefer to be left alone. She says company is nice but she’s talked out.
Today has felt like the longest day of her life. Her whole world has been turned upside down. Her relationship with Billy is over and Devon wants to dissolve their business partnership.
She feels like everything in her life is falling apart at once. He holds her.
Eventually, he wants to say something. Lily hopes it’s not a generic platitude.
Daniel assures her they will remain friends. He knows what’s happening with her sucks and she deserves better.
She’s not sure what she deserves. She chose to partner with those men and failed.
He tells her none of this is her fault. She chose to have faith in Billy.
“And I was wrong,” she points out. It’s all so frustrating. She’s a fixer and can’t fix these things.
He knows what it’s like to feel powerless, but you can’t control other people, just yourself.
Knowing that doesn’t make her feel any better. He promises life will soon look less horrible and inevitably things will get better.
She asks if that’s what happened to him when Heather left. He admits he wallowed and made things worse. Ultimately, he drove them away.
Touching his hand, she tells him how sorry she is. Daniel went crazy and self-destructive. Now he’s on a mission to make things better, both for him and his daughter.
He tells Lily she’s already a good person and she didn’t let anyone down. Billy and Devon failed her and everyone else.
She appreciates his high opinion of her but feels like a big loser. She can’t make any guarantees about what will make it to the next stage of the company.
Lily says he’s made her feel a little better. She’s been through worse and came out stronger.
He teases her for getting clichéd and she thanks him for being a friend. She’s sure he will be a success with anything he sets his mind to.
She’ll do all in her power to bring his dream to fruition. He thanks her.
She’s sure he’s doing it to prove to Heather and their daughter that he wants to fix things. Lily has faith in him.
“Then I guess we can’t fail, can we?” he says.

Y&R Opinion: Sally’s Pregnancy Written 1960s Style
Nick meets with Noah at Glam Club.
They chat about how well the joint is doing.
Noah asks his father how serious he is about Sally.
Nick repeats the question and then asks about Ally.
His son tells him how excited he is to watch their relationship grow.
Being with Ally is really nice.
Nick is happy for him. That’s not where he and Sally are, at least not yet.
He takes a swig of beer and looks thoughtful.
Nick knows he’s not a fan of Spectra but they enjoy each other’s company and are taking it slow. His son reminds him things can change in the blink of an eye.
Nick is sure it will remain uncomplicated.
In her suite, Sally and Chloe look at flow charts. Chloe thinks they have it all covered.
She’s curious about how her partner feels.
Sally claims she feels great.
Chloe reminds her the clock is ticking and she needs to start making decisions about her pregnancy.
Spectra insists they focus on their presentation for tomorrow.
Her friend points out that her pregnancy could change everything and hands her some prenatal vitamins.
When Chloe starts quizzing her about her menstrual cycle, Sally repeats they need to focus on work.
Her friend urges her to see and OBGYN. Sally already did and got another positive result.
Sure that she is scared, Chloe offers to support her every step of the way. Plus, she must have the father’s support, right? Sally looks away.
She claims she and Nick are not in a serious relationship and the last thing she wants is for him to feel trapped by her springing this on him.
Chloe knows he loves being a father and would like to figure this out as a team. Sally needs more time.
Her friend tells her she doesn’t have time. Sally wants to table this and call it a night. She’s going out to the club with Nick.
Chloe wonders how she will explain to Nick that she’s not drinking and accuses her of being in denial. She badgers her to face the facts.
Nick shows up, notices they have been working and offers to leave.
Sally wants time to unwind with him. He invites Chloe along but she needs to get back to the kids.
On her way out, Chloe leaves the prenatal vitamins on Sally’s table.
When they get to Society, Sally realizes she hasn’t eaten all day. He’s happy her stomach feels better and suggests she order everything.
When he suggests they order drinks, she forces a smile.
