This is the Canadian Y&R day ahead recap from the Wednesday, June 2, 2021 episode, which airs in the USA Thursday, June 3. In today’s episode, Tara and Harrison are found, Victoria’s not happy with Lily’s news, and Ashland talks about divorce with Victor.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon notices Summer’s not having a good day. She offers to listen, but Summer’s worried she’d start crying and never stop. Later, Lily tells Sharon she moved and gives out her new address for coffee delivery. Victoria shows up and is surprised to hear. “Are you and Billy moving in together?” Lily says they planned on telling her when she returned. Victoria doesn’t seem happy but Lily says they’ll make sure the transition is easy. Victoria snipes that she has work to do and goes. Later, Sharon lets Summer know that she can come back from seemingly insurmountable problems. “It’s not always easy but it can be done.” Summer worries about interlopers. Sharon says to let go of her fear and think of what’s best for her and act from there. Summer nods and thanks her.
Kyle finds Tara with Harrison at Chancellor park. He wishes she’d told him where she went. She didn’t see the point in hiding now that Harrison knows where they are. He would have come with her. “You’re my priority right now,” he explains, though she tells him she’s already taken enough of his time. Tara tells him what his kid is like and it turns out they both love the outdoors. He’s psyched to teach his son to ride a bike. They share a moment. She worries about Ashland being vindictive. Kyle thinks he’ll do what’s best for Harrison. “You are quite the optimist,” she says, smiling. She asks about Summer and how this will work. He says it’s a lot to take in and Tara doesn’t think it will mean a lot of change. She’ll live nearby and he’ll have access to him. Kyle is thrilled. He’s all in. Harrison arrives and they sit on a blanket. Tara gets ice cream and Summer turns up as Harrison calls him Daddy. She’s about to show herself when Tara calls the guys to get their ice cream. Summer takes off and returns with a toy, but everyone has left the park.

Adam shares that Dad helped with Chelsea. Nick’s surprised since she set Adam up. Adam isn’t sure how Dad’s mind works. Nick guesses that means he’s not going to tell him about Victor’s agenda. Adam doesn’t think he has one and assumes Nick’s trying to create doubt. Nick says he and Devon would like to partner with them. Adam’s shocked. Victor arrives and says, “I’ll be damned,” when he learns he’ll be working with both sons. He tells them they’ll be battles to fight, fires to put out. “You’re now by my side. You’ll help me win those battles.”

Victor walks into Grand Phoenix and sees Billy. “Sneaking out of the building after that ridiculous article about Newman Media?” Victor says he and Ashland thought it was amusing and hypocritical. He knows he’s going to pay him back. “We’ll be ready.” Victor replies, “Fasten your seatbelt Billy Boy.” Later, Nikki appears and he wishes her a happy birthday. He has something exciting in store for her. She’s pumped. He tells her that Nick is partnering with them with New Hope. It makes him happy to see a change in his son’s relationship.
