In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Victor, Victoria and Nick wonder why Tucker is back, Kyle and Summer try to forget about their ceremony being crashed, and Esther tells Nate about Katherine and is offered a job.
In the previous episode, Tucker crashed Summer and Kyle’s vow renewal, and Chelsea upset Connor by explaining she is Johnny’s biological mother.

At the Abbott estate, Kyle and Summer chop champagne and talk about their favorite memories from their vow renewal.
They marvel about how everything has changed for the better.
Their wedding in Milan was sweet but there is nothing like home.
The first year of their marriage has been incredible. When he looks back on this day, he will conveniently forget that Tucker crashed it.
They notice her mom with her grandmother and wonder what they are up to.
They toast to each other, their love, and the adventures yet to come.
Nikki tells Phyllis she is sure that Diane and Tucker must have been together while she was playing dead. She calls Victor to get his people to look into it.
Phyllis is confident there is a link. Nikki thinks he could be the man Deacon saw her with.
Soon, they can prove she’s been lying about being a changed woman.
Allie and Noah go inside and look at the photos he took.
She’s startled when she finds the photos he took over when she wasn’t posing. Normally she hates seeing photos of herself but these belong in a gallery.
He says that’s how he always sees her. As they kiss, Kyle and Summer wander in to tease them.
The topic of Tucker comes up and Allie asks about him.
As they give her the details, Jack joins them. He wishes he could pretend Tucker didn’t show up.
Noah announces the party doesn’t have to end and it can continue at his club. He takes off, promising to see them tonight.
Jack tells the happy couple they deserve a honeymoon. They have one planned but Summer is a little nervous to leave Harrison.
Jack assures them everything will be handled and they just need to take some time to enjoy their love.
As far as their mothers go, they seem to be at a stalemate.

Elena bumps into Nate at Crimson Lights.
She admits she’s feeling unsettled at the Phoenix.
She still thinks her moving out was the best decision for both of them.
He asks how introspection is working for her.
She’s still having trouble seeing things from his perspective.
Something in him has changed and she doesn’t like it.
What he’s doing could hurt people. He doesn’t think so.
Making things happen takes guts and vision, even sacrifice. She worries about what he’s willing to sacrifice.
Her problem with him isn’t that she doesn’t understand what he’s doing or why.
Devon interrupts and Nate takes off for the office. Elena is clearly upset so her ex offers to listen.
She tells him Nate is changing into someone she doesn’t recognize.
It’s like he’s lost his center and his goodness. Devon wonders what’s really going on.
If there’s a problem related to work, maybe it’s his fault and he can fix it.
Elena tells him this is much bigger than anything he’s done.
She understands why he’s putting Nate through his paces, but all Nate cares about is making his mark.
She worries about the way he’s handling his feelings. Devon is confused and wonders if this is about more than him moving into the corporate world.
Elena can’t say anymore and runs off.
Victoria and Nick join Victor in the Newman office and tell him about the ceremony.
He tells them about his business trip.
The mood changes when they inform him that Tucker showed up.
“Huh? I’ll be damned,” Victor grumbles. They wonder what he’s been up to. Last they heard, he had given up everything for an ascetic life. But he never gave up his company.
Nick wonders if they are still considering making a play for Chancellor-Winters.
His father and sister wonder if Tucker’s reappearance is connected to their decision to go public.
This is another complication Nick thinks they should steer clear of.
Victoria refuses to back away from going after Chancellor-Winters. She’s sure Nate will keep them ahead.
Nick worries about the legality of this but his father says no regulations have been violated.
Victor is happy to hear that Nate is getting close to Audra. Nick remains skeptical.
When Nate arrives at the office, he bumps into Esther.
She’s there to meet with Devon about something. He shows her into the office and they chat.
She tells him about her past issues with Jill and how crazy she makes her.
Nate is fascinated to hear Katherine was willing to share her power with Jill.
As they chat about her history, Devon wanders in.
He tells Esther that he wanted this company to be a family enterprise and she’s part of the Chancellor legacy. They would love to have her be part of what they are building.
She’s thrilled when he offers her a receptionist job.
Devon is just happy something opened up so they could bring her in.
Esther tells him how proud Mrs. C would be and runs off to buy an outfit to wear.
Devon tells Nate it’s only right that they take care of her like this.
He tells Nate that Elena is worried about him.
Nate wishes things hadn’t reached that point. His cousin offers to do whatever he can to help.
Nate claims Elena said all the right things but always assumed he’d wind up back in medicine. She’s too focused on the past and he’s moving forward.
He’s still hopeful they can work things out with her but he’s determined not to let personal issues get in the way of what he’s trying to accomplish. Devon looks confused.
Nate gets a text from Victoria requesting a meeting and takes off.
Nate hurries over to Victoria’s office and she informs him that Tucker is back. They wonder if he knows about the plan to go public and is considering making moves of his own. He offers to find out what he can.
Nikki and Phyllis meet at the ranch.
They vent about Diane.
Phyllis sighs about how exhausting it is to be civil.
Nikki tells her that Victor’s team has unearthed a new piece of the puzzle.
Diane bursts into Tucker’s suite at the GCAC and lectures him for crashing the vow renewal.
He thinks that her shock and outrage at his arrival gives her the perfect cover.
She accuses him of making such a big entrance just to impress Ashley and she wasn’t even there.
She says she’s done with him and has satisfied her side of the agreement.
She already gave him all she knows about Ashley and it’s time for them to part ways.
Tucker insists they are still partners and reminds her she couldn’t have made inroads with Kyle without his hope.
If she can overcome her obstacles, he’s sure he can too.
She feels protective of the Abbotts now and wants to know what he has planned.
He claims he just wants forgiveness from Ashley. She begs him to stop using her as his spy.
Victor starts knocking on the door and bellowing his name.
