Canadian Y&R day ahead recap from the Friday, April 23, 2021 episode, which airs in the USA Monday, April 26. On today’s episode, Faith and Moses discuss her rehab, Sharon tells Nick all about her marital discord, and there’s romance between Lily and Billy.
(I missed the first few minutes due to technical difficulties so am starting about 7 minutes in!)
Nate checks on Chelsea at the condo and leaves. She thinks as long as she can keep fooling Rey, she’s good. Chelsea gets out of her chair and rants about wanting to grab Connor and leave town.

Rey and Sharon stare at each other at Crimson Lights until he takes a call about Adam who has gone missing. Rey thinks he needs to go about this in another way. Meanwhile, Nick and Sharon grill their kid about therapy at a table nearby. She fills them in about other ways she could have dealt with her issues that didn’t include theft or boozing it up. Faith goes to get her books in the booth and gets a text from Moses. She invites him there. He’s on the way. She returns to her parents to ask if she can stay since Moses is coming. They agree it’s fine. Moses shows up and Nick praises him for being just like Neil by coming to his kid’s rescue. Nick and Sharon move to another table and she tells Nick that Rey left her and they’ll keep it from Faith for a while and lie and tell her that he’s working nights for a bit. Nick’s sorry. She fills him in on how well things were starting to go until Adam called. Nick cringes, knowing Adam. Sharon thinks Adam may have cost her her marriage. Nick thinks Rey needs time. Nearby, Faith tells Moses about rehab and babysitting to pay off the fine. He asks about rehab. She admits she doesn’t see herself as someone dealing with alcohol issues. He talks about his time in Alateen and how it helped him. Then he asks her to buy him a brownie. She laughs and gets him one.

At the club, Victoria and Nikki discuss what happened to Locke and Victor. Victoria knows how far her dad was willing to go and she’s sure that Victor forced the man to sign the documents under duress. Nikki hates to see her and Victor at each other’s throats. Nikki reminds her daughter that Victor still owns Newman. He’ll always have a say in the direction the company takes. Victoria doesn’t care. She’s forging loyalties and doubts he’ll damage her accomplishments. It’d be bad business. “Never underestimate his need to control,” Nikki says. So does Victoria. “Dad taught me.” Nikki offers to buy her dessert but she’s got a meeting. “Sleep is for weaklings,” she tells her mama when Nikki suggests she go home to bed.
At Society, Billy and Lily have dinner while Lily asks why Victoria warned him about Victor owning Cyaxares and that he’ll use it against ChanceComm. Lily doesn’t trust Victoria’s motives. Billy wants to focus on Lily. She grins. He flirts and compliments her beautiful eyes. He wants the business talk to stop. Lily is relieved. They canoodle and Victoria shows up to warn that her father is probably going to come after ChanceComm. Lily’s not bothered by this. She clings to Billy’s arm and shrugs Victoria off. Victoria says, “You think you might be a match for him but you’re not.” Later, once alone, she takes a call from a reporter about Victor’s purchase. She tells them she wishes him all the success in the world.

A knock comes to Chelsea’s door and she gets into her chair and tells whoever it is to come on in. It’s Rey. He heard talking and wonders if she’s alright. She covers. He asks her to use her son as bait to bring Adam back to Genoa City since he’s missing. She’s immediately angered and refuses. “He could grab Connor and leave the country.” Rey says he’d be surrounded by undercover police. They’d have to make it believable that Connor was sick. Chelsea worries that Connor would know that he was being used as a lure. It’d be traumatizing. “That’s how badly you want to see Adam in handcuffs?” Rey yells, “Don’t you?” Chelsea thinks Adam has gotten so far under his skin on account of Sharon that he’s willing to throw away his integrity. Rey can’t stand how Adam is out there waiting to do more damage to someone else. His hatred is taking over any good in his life. Chelsea knows firsthand about letting him become an obsession.
Nikki arrives at Crimson Lights and Nick sings Moses’ praises to her. He tells her that the kid is just like Neil. Nikki goes to Moses, glad he’s there for a while. She sings his father’s praises and he’s grateful to her. He takes off. Nikki talks to her grandkid about rehab. Faith was terrified about it but Moses makes it seem “almost normal.”
In their room, Lily and Billy kiss and she peels off his shirt. He ditches his pants and unzips her dress and they get into bed and make love. After, Lily’s asleep when Billy gets a text about Victor owning Cyaxeres.
Sharon arrives home alone and looks around sadly.

Victor tells Michael, “The longer this goes on, the more damage it does to my family.”
Kyle says, “I know Tara better than you do. I trust her.”
Summer replies, “Really, even though she’s lied to you before.”
Jack asks, “What did she lie to you about?”
Nick sees Elena at Crimson Lights. “Elena, uh, we could use a doctor. It’s Faith. She passed out and we don’t know why.”
