At the Abbott estate, Jack comes down the stairs and Traci informs her brother that today is a good day. Ashley will be flying out from Paris early so they will be able to spend more of the holiday together with Dina.

She has a second surprise for him and presents him with the family memoir. She has finally completed it and asks him to read it and let her know what he thinks in case it needs any tweaking.

Jack would be honored and promises to dive into it immediately. He will treasure every sentence.

Jack remembers when he came back to Jabot many years ago, his big plans for the company, and Dina wanting to be a mother to her children again. None of that was to be.

Too many people opposed the reunion of his parents, people like Jill. John remained the constant guiding force in his children’s lives to his dying day.
