Canadian Y&R day ahead recap from the Tuesday, April 27, 2021 episode, which airs in the USA Wednesday, April 28. Monday’s episode had Lily accusing Billy of being obsessive over Cyaxares. On today’s episode, Michael asks Victor to have faith in Rey, Rey questions Chloe, and Adam contacts Sharon.
Michael and Rey discuss his theories on Adam and Chelsea. Rey admits he saw Chelsea and it has him wondering if there’s something to Sharon’s theory on Chelsea being the one to poison him. Michael trusts his instincts. Later, Chloe shows up. He has questions about Adam for her. She doesn’t know where he is. Rey asks if she knows anything that’ll help the case. She lies that she doesn’t and calls Adam a monster. She’s offended that Rey’s trying to interrogate her and gets up and stomps off.
At the ranch, Nikki lets Victor know she will be with Faith today since it’s her first substance abuse rehab therapy session. Victor asks her to give her his support. She promises too but its obvious things between them are strained from their argument the night before about Victoria.
At home, Faith looks tired to Sharon. Faith says she’s queasy, but she needs to push through and go to school. Sharon wants her to feel open to her. Has she been sneaking alcohol? Faith denies that. It’s probably the stress. She’s ready to handle whatever comes and promises to come home if she feels worse.

Adam calls Sharon. He’s somewhere safe. She tells him every time he calls it adds issues to her marriage. He knows and apologizes for that but hopes he can call her and check in. He wants to hear about Connor and Chelsea. He can’t fully blame Chelsea for this mess. That shocks Sharon. He admits it’s because of her, of this unexplainable pull he feels for her. He asks her to promise not to look for him and keep this call quiet.
At Jabot, Kyle tells Jack and Summer that Tara wants to meet. Kyle thinks they can trust her. He goes off and Kyle tells Summer he doesn’t think Jabot is out of the woods yet.
Esther spots Nina at Crimson Lights. They catch up over where Chance has gone and Mariah’s surrogacy for Chance and Abby. “And she’s pregnant!” Esther congratulates her. She’s shocked all four women get along. Nina calls it a different vibe than when Jill and Mrs. C lived there together. Nina admits she’s trying to get some writing done and Tessa’s practicing music. Esther lets her know about a study in the east wing she could use. Nina asks if she misses working there. Esther loves being with the grandbabies but Chancellor’s house was a big part of her life and she feels left out. Nina invites her to come back even as part-time. Esther brightens. She likes that idea.

Tara and Kyle meet at the club. She tells him her husband will be out of the hospital in a day and they’re anxious to get back to Harrison. Locke wanted them to meet. He plans to go forward with the business deal they talked about. She doesn’t know anything about the issues with Jabot. Tara claims the heart attack has changed him. The anger is gone. Kyle doubts that. Tara believes him. She saw love and tenderness in his eyes that she only sees with Harrison. She plans on asking him not to be so hands on with work. She’s with him because she loves him. Kyle’s sorry she’s going through this. Tara is thankful. She says Ashland will make Jabot the sole advertiser on his health and beauty plan. Kyle finds that hard to trust.

Faith puts her books away in her locker when Moses comes upon her. They talk about their classes. He enjoys all his but is still getting lost on the way to class. Faith helps him find his next one. Later, she finds a silly drawing on her locker of a car accident. Moses comes upon her and she rips it up. She tells him she’s feeling sick and once he’s gone, she clutches her stomach.
Michael shows up at the ranch and tells Victor that Rey’s still going over the case. He’s not letting his personal bias enter into it. Victor argues that he doesn’t believe it but Michael thinks he should trust Rey’s instincts.
Victor stops by Sharon’s to see how Faith was today. Sharon admits she wasn’t feeling well but went off to school. Victor asks if she’s heard from Adam. She lies that she has no idea where he is. Victor was hard on her when she told Rey where he was hiding but he hopes she’ll tell him anything if it comes up. Sharon looks away but nods. “Of course.”
Later, Kyle goes back to Jabot. He shares what Tara said to him about the deal. Jack isn’t sold on getting back into business on the man after what he did. They debate what to do and Jack thinks they need to do the deal and cut him loose at the first opportunity. The men leave and Sally turns up. They talk and she wants to set the record straight that she didn’t do anything underhanded to Jack. Sally’s looking for Summer to give her a chance to move on from her mistakes. She’d like to clear the air. They’re all coming out of this unscathed but she lost the man she’s fallen in love with. Jack overhears from the door.
Sharon comes across Rey at Society. She can tell he’s here to avoid running into her at Crimson Lights. Shea asks if he’ll come home, but it won’t change anything. She’s still willing to fight for them. There’s nothing more he wants than them to have something to fight for. He sees that the only reason Adam’s not in her life is that he’s on the run. It’s a big red flag that she’ll never be able to get out of her heart. He goes.
Nikki finds Tara at Crimson Lights. She asks after Ashland and Tara thanks her for calling her to tell her about the heart attack. Tara admits Billy told her that the heart attack happened when Victor was bullying him into signing the contract for Cyaxares. Nikki was there and says not to put credit into what Billy says. Jack appears and says he was sorry to hear about Ashland. Tara tells them he’s doing better and goes. Nikki says, “Don’t tell me the Lockes have been playing games with you, too.” Jack thinks she should tell Victor to get out of that deal if he can. Later, Faith appears and lets Nikki know that her session went well. Sharon’s proud when she admits she shared a few times. She admitted she has an urge to drink when she is being bullied. The other kids feel the same. Nikki’s proud she has learned that and she gets it. It’s a battle for her, too. She’ll be there for her as she fights it. Faith starts to feel really sick and passes out.
At home, Victor looks at his cell phone and tries to get his son to call.
In some alley, Adam laughs over the news that Victor got Cyaxares in spite of him. He’s glad and almost calls him but decides against it.
At the Grand Phoenix, Kyle eavesdrops as Tara talks to Harrison on a call.
