In the Monday, September 12, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila holds her grandson, while Brooke and Taylor disagree and Thomas and Liam disagree on who Douglas should live with.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where Brooke vented to her sisters, Donna and Katie, while later, Brooke ran into Taylor in Ridge’s office.
As Finn talks on a call in his room at Cliffhouse, Sheila talks to Hayes in the living room and tells him she loves him.
Sheila picks up her grandson as Finn talks in the other room and tells the kid again she loves him and hates being kept apart from him. It’s painful.
She looks at the open door and back at the baby.
Finn returns later and sees the little boy is alone and his stuffed animal has fallen from his playpen. He wonders how that happened and apologizes for leaving him. “I’m all yours now.”
Zende arrives and wants to play with Hayes but Finn just put him down. They discuss Sheila but Finn says she’s never coming back. He never has to worry about her again.
Once Zende leaves, Finn notices the sliding doors are open.

B&B opinion: Brooke’s Trash and Taylor a Queen?
In Ridge’s office, Brooke tells Taylor that she should respect boundaries with her and her husband.
Taylor claims that she’s not trying to do anything. “Things are happening naturally on their own,” she says.
If Brooke thinks she’s doing these things to her, “It tells me everything I need to know.”
Brooke says she’s trying to uproot Douulgas from the only stable home he’s had since Caroline died.
Taylor says that’s not what she’s doing. They argue over whether Thomas is stable.
Brooke thinks Liam and Hope are stable. Taylor’s grateful for that but Thomas is Douglas’ dad. Brooke reminds Taylor that Hope is Douglas’ mother. She adopted him.
Taylor’s not questioning Hope’s rights as a mother.
When he signed those papers, they weren’t together and he was in a bad place. “Thomas was obsessed with my daughter,” Brooke says.
Taylor knows. That he signed those adoption papers when he was having issues has always concerned her. Brooke says Hope loves him as deeply if she had him.
Taylor never said she didn’t. She could still be in his life. Hope hasn’t really shared custody. Douglas has spent the majority of time “at your cabin,” and not with her son.
It’s time for him to be with her son and the rest of the Forrester family. Taylor says Tomas wants full custody because he’s missed so much. He’s ready to be loving and devoted. Brooke can’t believe her ears.
Liam arrives at Eric’s to see Douglas but he’s with Steffy and Kelly, Thomas says. Liam’s there to pick him up. “It’s time for Douglas to come home,” he says, eliciting a sigh from Thomas.
Thomas says this is also Douglas’ home. Hope understands that he wants to spend time with his son. He’ll wait for him.
Thomas says it’s fine to do that but Douglas has a cookout with his friends tonight. Liam bursts out laughing. He doesn’t think Thomas will ever change.
Thomas is annoyed and says he’s getting closer with his son and one would think Liam would understand that as a father.
“If you come between my son and I there’s gonna be hell to pay,” he threatens.
Liam denies trying to come between him and his son but he believes Douglas belongs with them. He’s happy with them.
Thomas says he’s also happy here, with him. “At this point, you are hoarding the kid and using it to get Hope over here.” Thomas says to stop. “If you’re insinuating.”
Liam isn’t insinuating. He’s telling.
He thinks his obsession with Hope is “kicking up again.” Thomas laughs in disbelief. Liam says his job is to protect Hope and Douglas from Thomas at all costs.
At Deacon’s, Sheila has removed her mask and thinks about the precious moments she spent with Hayes.
She wishes it could have been longer. Deacon arrives. He took a break from work to check on her. She scoffs that he’s checking up on her.
He says he’s not being her jailor but he’s all she’s got. She’s got her son and grandson and says they’re all she thinks and dreams about.
Frustrated, she thinks ‘if only’ things could be different. Deacon tries to tell Sheila she can never see Finn or Hayes again. She has to accept this.
He has to get back to work and asks if she’ll be okay. He touches her cheek and they kiss before he goes.
After he leaves, she flashes to seeing Hayes. She doesn’t care what Deacon says, she’s going to be a part of their lives. Somehow.
