In the Monday, July 11, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila continues apologizing to Finn, Taylor tells Deacon that Brooke and Ridge have reunited, and Brooke and Ridge settle in.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where Ridge told Taylor that he was back with Brooke while the Forresters celebrated.
Brooke and Ridge lounge on her couch, happy to feel normal. She tells him they’re living in the moment and he claims he’s happy. It was a wonderful day. The conversation with Taylor was just “necessary” and he’s happy to be home.
After they kiss, she tells him she’s not taking this for granted. She can see he’s still worried about Taylor. Their son sends them a text saying he’s cautiously optimistic for them.
They laugh about that and he gives her some pain killers before they start talking about Eric getting back with Donna. Taking her hand, he tells her they have a lot to look forward to. The same can’t be said for Taylor. That’s a tough place to be.
She’s sure Taylor will be upset for awhile but she’s still part of his family so he’ll see her. “How can handle change more than Taylor?” she says. He knows that but he worries that she’s vulnerable and someone could take advantage of her.
Brooke assures him that Taylor can take care of herself and drags him into a kiss.
At Il Giardino, Deacon can see how hard it is for Taylor to be where her daughter was shot. He assures her he hasn’t heard anything from Sheila. If he had, he would have told her or the cops.
The doctor wants to believe him. He understands she’s scared for her family but there has been nothing. Deacon wishes he could have done more to help. She’s grateful that he found Steffy in time to save her life.
He feels like he should have done more. “Don’t should on yourself,” she advises. They laugh about that witticism and then discuss Ridge. She informs him that he’s moved back in with Brooke.
They joke about them reuniting because Brooke broke her ankle. They both feel bad for themselves. It’s going to be harder for him to see his daughter now. He doesn’t even have his own place yet.
The whole thing seems unfair.
He’s going to miss seeing his daughter. Sharing his feelings like this isn’t really his thing. Listening to people’s feelings is her job. Deacon guesses she’s off the clock.
They get back to talking about how they were reconnecting with their exes.
She’s sure that Brooke will never let Ridge go and he will always go back to her. She says relationships are like roller-coasters: a beautiful view before you take the plunge.

B&B opinion: Taylor’s fatal flaw
At their hideaway, Sheila gives Finn a drink and repeats that she never meant to hurt him. She begs him to believe her. “Steffy!” he grunts. Sheila says that his wife was trying to keep him away from her and something just snapped.
He’s got to believe his mother would never do something like this again. In Finn’s head, he says she’s evil and will never get near his family again.
He tells himself he needs to get back to Steffy and Hayes.
Sheila keeps insisting this was all accident. Eventually, he groans that he believes that she loves him. “Mama loves you more than anything in the world,” coos Sheila.
He starts asking about his IV and then asks her to take him to the hospital.
She refuses and adds they gave up on him but she didn’t and never will. She’s going to take care of him.
“You need to trust me,” she says. In his head he says “no” but he tells her he wants to. She claims she saved his life and would do anything else he needed. He needs medicine.
She knows where to get it but she didn’t want to leave him alone.
“I can tell you what to get,” he suggests. When he tries to get up, she makes him stay put.
She doesn’t want him to have a set-back. Finn insists he needs more medicine now. “Please mom?” he begs.
Sheila instantly caves and kisses his forehead before leaving him alone. He stares at the door and tries moving his feet. “I’m coming for you Steffy,” he says, pulling himself up.
