In the Tuesday, May 31, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Taylor continues to get Steffy to consider leaving town, Li reveals she’s the only one who knows her son is alive, while Donna’s thrilled by Eric’s admission.
We also have Monday’s B&B recap where Taylor suggested to Steffy that she get out of the city for a while.
Li stands at the end of Finn’s bed, still unable to believe what his own birth mother did to him. “Shot you and left you for dead,” she says, sneering. He never should have been in the alley. “Your’e still alive,” she says and she’s the only one who knows.
She holds his hand for a bit and then jumps on her laptop.
At the Cliff house, Steffy says Thomas took the kids. She feels strange being there alone.
Ridge and Taylor remind her she isn’t alone. Ridge agrees. Taylor again encourages her to get away with the kids. Steffy’s incredulous. It doesn’t feel right.
The parents go at it from different angles and Tay says she can reconnect as a family. “Yeah, I used to have that but I don’t have that anymore,” Steffy says. That was destroyed by Sheila. She sees him out of the corner of her eye and then when she looks again, he’s not there.
She blames Sheila again and Ridge hugs her. Taylor brings up going on a trip again and Ridge thinks she won’t find what she needs in L.A. for a while.
Steffy nods. Maybe they’re right. She lets Ridge hold her as she says Finn’s name repeatedly.

In the club house bedroom (or wherever this is), Donna likes spending time with Eric. She’d do it forever, but he’s married. She asks for honesty.
Does he want to stop seeing her? He doesn’t, which causes Donna to tear up. She’s happy. He calls their moments together precious.
He asks why she’s crying. She explains to the elder Forrester that she’s happy so he envelops her into a hug. He tells her that she makes him smile, feel warm and loved. This makes her happy. She could get used to this. “It’s the least you deserve,” he says.
She thinks it’s heaven being with him. He loves that she values the simple things. She only needs her honey bear.
She vows not to make demands on his time.
In the Forrester design room, Quinn tells Carter he can’t start things up with Paris again. He says there are worse things than being tied to Paris. She’s in love with him. Quinn agrees but she’s never heard him say that.
He tells her that he’s been holding back with Paris because of Zende.
He can’t wait forever for something like what he and with Quinn to come around again. He can reconnect with Paris. It wouldn’t be difficult to make something of it. Quinn’s astounded. Is he doing it for her? Carter says Paris knows he’ll always care about Quinn.
Carter could never hurt Eric again. Quinn asks, “What about you?” She doesn’t want him in a relationship without love.
Carter snaps. Who is to say his feelings for Paris aren’t viable? He hates living on the sidelines and watching everyone else moving on but him. He wants to be a husband and have a family in the worst way. Quinn thinks he will. “Yeah,” he says. “To Paris.”
Quinn refuses to let him sacrifice his life for Paris unless he can convince her he loves her.
If he can, she’ll wish him well. They both know the answer to that, he says.
