In the Friday, April 1, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Finn rushes out to find Steffy, Ridge and Taylor wonder what Sheila wants, and Steffy tries to keep Sheila out of Finn’s life.

Finn is at the hospital wondering why Steffy hasn’t texted him back. When he sees she went to Il Giardino, he runs off.
Panicking Finn drives across town, telling himself that his mom is evil. “You better stay away from my wife,” he mutters.
In the alley outside Il Giardino, Sheila shoves Steffy against a dumpster and tells her that if she thinks she’s to going to have a place in her son’s life, she needs to think again.
Steffy doesn’t want to fight. Sheila backs away and says she just wants to be accepted and loved. Steffy makes it clear that’s never going to happen. Finn already knows the truth about what happened with Brooke.
Sheila says they can keep this a secret until Ridge and Taylor are married. Steffy won’t let her parents get back together based on a lie. “I did this for you!” Sheila insists.
Steffy accuses her of only doing this for herself. She’s willing to side with any team, including Brooke’s, to keep Sheila out of Finn’s life. “The losing team,” Sheila says, vowing that no one will keep her away from her son and grandson… not even Steffy.
“You’re sick!” Steffy says, ordering her to stay away from her family again, and accusing her of hurting people to get what she wants. Sheila refuses to give up. Finn means everything to her and she would do anything to protect her relationship with him.
Steffy points out she doesn’t have a relationship with him or Hayes and will never see them again. These words start echoing in Sheila’s head until she pulls out a gun. When she turns and shoots, Finn rushes between the women and takes the bullet.
Steffy rushes to Finn and begs him to breathe as Sheila nearly hyperventilates. Finn coughs awake and his wife tells him she loves him and will get him through this. As he tells her he loves her and Hayes, he loses consciousness.
“No, no, no, Finn no!” Steffy cries, screaming into his chest.
She looks up at Sheila and calls her a monster. When she threatens to put her in prison for the rest of her life and tries to call 911, Sheila levels her gun at her and tells her not to dare.

In the Forrester Creations office, Taylor wishes Thomas would ease up a bit but Ridge is glad their kids are very open about their feelings. She says the happiness of their kids doesn’t depend on them and she wishes Thomas would focus on his own futures.
They admire how busy Steffy is and how much she has accomplished in her life. Taylor was worried about her when she was stuck in that cycle with Liam. It was like she was going to be trapped doing the same repetitive thing they’ve done.
Luckily, she found Finn. Ridge thinks the doctor would be perfect if it wasn’t for his mother.
He gets annoyed when Taylor admits she wants to believe that Sheila has changed. She assures him her guard is always up with her.
“She’s as dangerous now as she’s always been,” insists Ridge. She tells him that Sheila keeps showing up at her office to talk and seems really happy about them reuniting.
Since there is no obvious way Sheila could benefit, Taylor is trying to figure it out and suggests it could be out of feeling guilty for shooting her. Ridge says believing in things like unicorns is nice, but believing in Sheila is bad.
Taylor knows first-hand how dangerous Sheila is and is on high alert. They return to talking about what a good guy Finn is and how happy they are for her daughter.
She’s sure things will get better and better. It’s everything she’s ever wanted for her.
Ridge says their daughter is ready to run the company on her own. Even if he and Eric will continue to haunt the halls, it’s nice knowing she will be able to take over.
Taylor says she always rises to the top and never fails. Her future is so bright.
“I can’t wait to see what she does next,” he says.
