In the Monday, September 5, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon tells Sheila she’s being delusional, Steffy tries to get Finn to talk about his feelings for Sheila, and Brooke and Liam hope Hope hasn’t changed her mind about Thomas.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where Thomas told Hope she is the woman for him and Sheila was convinced she could win Finn back.
At Deacon’s, Sheila tells him he doesn’t have to babysit her. He chews an apple and worries that someone could have recognized her when she went out, even in her disguise.
She says it was worth the risk to see her son’s face again. Her waltzing into the restaurant nearly gave Deacon a heart attack.
Sheila goes on about how proud she is of her “beautiful angel” and she’s sure he still loves her. Deacon shakes his head.
She says her son has a forgiving heart and won’t look at her with hate. He says that’s probably wishful thinking.
The guy almost bought the farm because of her and she’s being delusional.
She’s sure he must have confused feelings. Deacon is sarcastic. She demands some emotional support and complains about how hard Steffy made everything when she was trying to get close to Finn.
At least Taylor gave her a shot… She just thanks god that Finn survived.
Deacon has to get back to work and tells her it would be tremendous if she could stay there and not do anything crazy.
He knows how much she loves her son, but that relationship is dead.
After he leaves, she says she refuses to believe she will never have a relationship with her son.
Steffy returns home from a meeting and finds Finn sitting around while the kids are with the nanny. He tells her how much he appreciates his mom.
She’s relieved to know that when he talks about his mom, he’s talking about Li, not Sheila.
His wife is sure he has some conflicted emotions about his birth mother’s death.
He hasn’t given her much thought.
Maybe Sheila loved him a warped and obsessive way. Finn wishes he could forget what’s happened.
He apologizes to Steffy for every tear Sheila made her shed.
But she’s dead and won’t hurt anyone he loves again.
Steffy still wants to know how he really feels.
Finn just wishes Sheila was different. He still can’t wrap his head around her nearly killing him.
As they hug, disguised Sheila watched them through the window. “Mama is always going to love you,” she says.

B&B opinion: Does Thomas deserve custody?
At Brooke’s, Hope explains how comfortable and happy Douglas was at Eric’s with his dad.
Her mom and Liam aren’t enthusiastic.
He wonders if she’s softening on where her son should be living. Hope wants him to come home.
Her husband and mother repeat that she should be wary of Thomas.
Liam says that even if he’s changed, it doesn’t change the horrible things he’s done.
Hope is more concerned about what Douglas wants and needs. The child idolizes Thomas and he deserves to have a healthy, committed father.
Left alone, Brooke looks at a photo of herself with Ridge and thinks of them romping in bed.
At Eric’s, he and the family talk about the possibility of getting a dog for Douglas.
Taylor hopes that Hope can see that the child belongs there. It’s a tough situation, especially since Brooke is involved. It makes her sad that this is turning into a Logan versus Forrester tug of war.
Thomas can see why Hope has her concerns. She’s made a wonderful family with his son. There’s a lot to consider.
Eric says that he’s welcome, whatever he decides. He takes off for some pickleball with Donna.
Taylor hopes that Hope’s opinion has changed because Brooke’s haven’t.
When he’s left alone, Ridge paces and gets pensive. Taylor returns and guesses he’s not doing well.
She assures him that their son knows he will stand by him, even if it’s the last thing Brooke wants.
She reminds him of how good things are with Steffy now. It meant a lot to her and the kids when he vowed to be there for them.
As she grabs his coat, he holds her hands. When he calls her “Doc,” it feels like they are together again. She kisses his cheek.
When Hope returns to the cabin, she recalls her conversation with Thomas and the way he told her he was a one-woman man. Thomas pops up.
