In the Friday, September 9, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke vents to her sisters, Deacon gives Sheila another warning, and Taylor hangs out with her son at work.
We also have Thursday’s B&B recap where Hope sobbed as she returned home without Douglas, and Thomas daydreamed of kissing Hope.
At his place, Deacon worries when he catches Sheila staring at pictures of Finn on her phone and obsessing. She’ll never stop wishing for the day she can hold her son again.
Deacon reminds her that everyone thinks she’s dead, including Finn.
He has to get to work. It’s torture for her to be alone with her thoughts. Deacon encourages her to channel this into something else.
“No more crazy stunts,” he says, telling her to stay there.
After he leaves, she looks in the mirror and then at her mask and smiles to herself.
At Forester Creations, Paris is spinning around while Zende and Thomas look over her dress. The model was busy so she stepped in. Taylor bustles in and admires the dress.
Her son says it’s a great time for her to stop by since Brooke isn’t there. After she gives her son a hug, she tells him how great it is that he’s been spending so much time with his family.
Taylor asks Zende when the dress will be for sale. Paris says she will have to fight he for it. She and Zende take off.
Taylor tells her son he’s still her favorite designer. She likes to see how happy he is.
Thomas says everything is great. His mom urges him not to worry about Brooke. She doesn’t get to dictate Douglas’ future. He’s a Forrester after all.
At Brooke’s, she chats with her sisters about Donna moving back in with Eric. Donna thinks everything is amazing. Ridge is back where he should be too.
Brooke points out he’s been spending an awful lot of time around his ex at Eric’s.
She complains about not being invited to family time. Brooke feels like Taylor is using Douglas to drive a wedge between her and Ridge.
Brooke vents about the fantasy of Taylor’s family reuniting and she doesn’t like Thomas having influence over Douglas.
She still has no faith that he’s totally reformed but doesn’t want this to become a problem with Ridge.
“Poor Brooke,” Donna says. Katie is sure Brooke and Ridge will get through this.
But she does suspect that her sister is right about her marriage being under attack by Taylor.

At the beach house, Li hangs out with Finn and Hayes. She comments on how nice it is now that Sheila is gone.
After they put the kid to bed, she complains about how they almost lost everything because of Sheila.
Sitting down, she marvels at the big family he has now. He assures her that she and his dad were more than enough when he was growing up.
She recalls everything that Sheila put her through. “We cheated death. We prevailed over Sheila Carter. We don’t have to be afraid of her anymore,” he says.
As they embrace, Sheila watches them through the window. Finn tells Li he couldn’t have asked for a more dedicated mother. Everything he holds dear is possible because of her.
Watching him with his family brings her incredible joy. Sheila failed to snatch away their happiness and paid the ultimate price. “I hope she’s rotting in hell,” she says.
He says Sheila is the past; they don’t have to worry about her. After he walks her out, he puts Hayes into a crib and then steps away to take a call.
Sheila stares in at the child and thinks about how much she loves him and hates being kept away from him. She opens the door and sneaks in.
Crouching down, she touches the child’s hair.
Brooke arrives at Forrester Creations and finds Taylor in the office. “Just when I thought it was going to be a good day,” sighs exasperated Brooke.
She says the shrink seems to be popping up everywhere these days. “You don’t seem happy to see me,” Taylor notes.
They talk about the latest Forrester family soiree and Brooke points out that Douglas has been gone from his home for days. She doesn’t want things to escalate.
Taylor is still cleaning paint out of her ears from Brooke’s last escalation. Brooke doesn’t think she’s gotten through to her so she says that her campaign to take away Douglas and Ridge stops today.
Taylor tries to process this and bites her tongue.
