Sheila Confesses to Finn That She Shot Him and He Remembers the Night it Happened

In the Wednesday, July 6, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Liam tries to get Hope to take a mental break, and Ridge attempts to reassure Taylor about Sheila.

At Steffy’s, Ridge and Taylor wonder how their daughter is doing. He’s sure she’s doing okay because she’s strong and her kids will keep her on her toes. They recall how Steffy was always involved at work.

Taylor worries that what Sheila did could dampen Steffy’s lightness. Taking her hands, Ridge assures her that’s not going to happen. They have tea and she tells him how much she appreciates him and all the added security.

They know that Sheila will show up eventually. Standing and pacing, she worries that Sheila could be hiding under their noses or has hopped on a plane. She doesn’t know what she will do next since she already killed her own son.

He gets a text from work and then says he needs to check on Brooke. Ridge assures her Sheila will slip up like usual. Taylor beats herself up for letting Sheila play her for a fool.

She wishes she’d never been on that rooftop. “The world would have been a better place,” she says.

Liam is filling the toy basket at the cabin when Hope arrives. He’s amazed that there is no news about Sheila. Hope worries about their safety. Where could Sheila be? She’ll be on pins and needles until she’s found.

Liam tells her they need to remind themselves of all the things they can control and are grateful for. The kids are safe and they can take a mental break from Sheila.

He turns the topic to Eric and Donna. She thinks they make sense together. Liam is sure they are enjoying themselves and he couldn’t be happier for them. She points out how off Carter and Paris’ engagement was, even though she tried to support them.

She’s relieved that Quinn was the only uninvited guest at the wedding rather that Sheila. They get back to discussing security. She’s impressed when he suggests they move up to the house to help out Brooke. Her mom already turned that idea down.

Hope’s still wonders if Ridge has made up his mind about who he will commit to. They rehash that situation. Her mom has been fighting for her marriage to Ridge, but what does she need to do to get him to come home?

At Brooke’s, the power goes out. She freaks out when she hears someone at the door but it’s just Ridge. She tripped on the stairs and hurt her foot. He’s sorry if he scared her. She’s just glad it was him.

He tells her they will find Sheila and gets some ice for her foot.

At the hideaway, Finn slowly opens his eyes and mumbles, “Mom?” Sheila holds his hand and thanks god he’s back. His eyes look around but everything is still blurry. She explains he’s not in the hospital but she’s taking care of him.

“Where’s Steffy?” he asks. She looks away and claims they are fine, they are just traveling. Sheila tries to keep him calm. She’s already lost him a few times and won’t again.

“What happened?” he keeps repeating. Eventually, she tells him that he’s in this condition because he was shot. “I am so, so very sorry… you were shot,” she adds. He’s been strong and brave. He has so much to live for.

Finn says they need to go to the hospital. She reminds him she’s a nurse and he’s had incredible care. She’s determined to do all in her power to get him back to being the man he was before the “accident.”

She insists the shooting was only a terrible accident. He never should have been shot. “And I’m sorry,” she apologizes. Finn immediately flashes back to the night she shot him.

“Sorry? Sorry?” he asks. His mom tells him how much she loves him. It’s been hell since the shooting. When she asks him what he remembers, he flashes back to finding Steffy in the alley. His eyes bug out as he recalls her shooting him.

As he hyperventilates, she holds his face. “You, you, you, you shot me,” he growls.
