In the Friday, February 18, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Thomas stops Brooke from seeing his father, Taylor tells Ridge that he deserves better, and Sheila offers herself to Deacon if things don’t work with Brooke.
We also have Thursday’s B&B recap where Thomas deleted Brooke’s voicemail and stopped her from seeing Ridge.
At the Cliffhouse, Steffy asks Ridge why he keeps letting Brooke betray him while Taylor is standing right there. She urges him to make a life with the family he never should have left behind.
Taylor tells her daughter she’s putting too much pressure on Ridge when things are already complicated enough. Her daughter points out that Brooke would never put him first like Taylor is. His future is standing right in front of him. Steffy decides to leave them to “the most important conversation they will ever have.”
After Steffy makes her final pitch for their reunion, she exits. Ridge remembers how great he felt when his parents reunited. Taylor tells him there’s no pressure. She just wants what’s best for him and he’s the only one who knows what that is.
He appreciates that she isn’t putting any pressure on him but he wants her honest opinion. She says that Brooke has never been worthy of him, mostly because of her pattern of turning to other men and disregarding his feelings. Brooke does what she wants when she wants and cries her way to forgiveness.
Taylor knows hearing the truth about someone you want to believe in is hard. Brooke will never change. She will always turn to other men. “Maybe it’s time to check yourself and ask why you deserve that path? I think you deserve so much better,” she says, promising to always be honest with him.
He knows their kids want them to reunite. Ridge has always thought his home was with Brooke. That doesn’t mean that what they had wasn’t amazing. He moved on but she didn’t. When she tears up, he touches her face and wonders if the kids are right. Maybe he should be with someone who is honest with him. When he leans in to kiss her, she tells him to stop. “I want to come home if you’ll have me,” he says. She kisses him.
At Brooke’s, Liam and Hope are eager from her mom to work through things with Ridge. She hates that Ridge thinks Deacon came up with some evil plan to get Brooke drunk. Liam gets it. The whole reason they are in this situation is that her mom keeps defending Deacon.

Outside of the Cliffhouse, Thomas bars Brooke’s way inside, insisting Ridge doesn’t want to see her after what she did. She realizes he knows what happened and admits she keeps asking herself why she started drinking. When she tries to call Ridge, the phone rings in Thomas’ pocket. “You’re the reason he hasn’t called back!” she guesses. He tells her it’s time to go.
Thomas tells her that Taylor is Ridge’s future and it’s time for her to accept it. Brooke has been hearing she’s a horrible person who doesn’t deserve Ridge since before he was born. That’s never made any difference. She will never give up on Ridge.
After Brooke leaves, Thomas keeps guard. His sister joins him and he shows her that he has Ridge’s phone. She hopes their mom will finally get through to Ridge.
Brooke returns to her place and tells Liam and Hope that Thomas wouldn’t let her into the house. The kids kept her away from him so Taylor could plead her case. She feels like her marriage is slipping through her fingers.
Sheila drops by il Giardino and finds Deacon icing his face. She’s surprised he let Ridge get away with beating on him. He did it for Brooke.
It would have hurt her a lot more to see Ridge get pummeled than it hurt him to take it. Deacon just can’t understand why Ridge is so confident that he must have spiked Brooke’s drink.
“Ridge really thinks that you caused it somehow?” she asks. Deacon thinks Ridge is blinded by hatred. Who would be cruel enough to spike an alcoholic’s drink? “Who indeed?” asks Sheila after flashing back to swapping real champagne for fake.
Sheila thinks it’s the end of an era. Ridge and Brooke can’t last much longer. She wonders if Deacon is looking for a fairy tale reconciliation. “I’ll be there for her,” he says. She reminds him she will be there for him if Brooke isn’t.
