In the Friday, July 8, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, at the family barbecue, Eric announces Donna has returned to Forrester while Quinn just wants to focus on Carter’s body.
We also have Thursday’s B&B recap where Ridge told Brooke he wanted to come home and they kissed while Sheila refused to let Finn leave.
At Eric’s, the family and some of their friends have all gathered together. H proposes a toast to today. Brooke tells them that it’s good to be having her first event now that she’s back with Ridge. Liam says that their love story is the stuff of legend.
Donna wonders when Ridge will be making an appearance to mark the occasion. Brooke explains he will show up eventually. It depends on how Taylor handles the news when he breaks it to her.
Eric announces that Donna has graciously agreed to come back to Forrester. They are all happy to be celebrating so much love. However, Paris and Zende look a bit uncomfortable.
Paris tells Zende that being surrounded by loving couples gives her hope. They join Hope and Liam as they discuss his vegetarian chili with Eric and Donna.
Hope wanders over to her mom who says Bridget called to say she’s going to try to stop by. She’s really happy for her mom and glad she didn’t give up on Ridge. Brooke says that he’s her destiny.
Paris tells Zende she’s happy for Donna and Eric. He assures her that in time she will forget all about Carter. She will marry some awesome guy and have a blissful life.
Donna strokes Eric’s beard and he tells her he wishes they had reunited sooner. She tells him it’s not complicated anymore. Now the whole world can know she’s more in love with him than ever. He wants that too.

Ridge stops by Steffy’s where Taylor tries to tempt him to stick around. He explains he can’t. He has moved back in with Brooke and they are holding a barbecue. She asks why this happened.
“Brooke broke her ankle,” he says. She doesn’t think that’s much of a reason to return to a marriage. He wants to live in the moment. She closes her eyes and tries to swallow this.
He assures her that he will never turn his back on her and their family. Taylor doesn’t look like this is easy to believe. This isn’t what she was hoping for but she expected it when she heard what Sheila did to Brooke.
What they shared when he was here was real. She spills some fruit and curses Sheila. He assures her he will always keep her safe. Doc tells him she was trying to keep his heart safe from Brooke. She has always hurt him and it will happen again.
She’s sure that Brooke will turn to another man. She reminds him that he also told her they were “living in the moment” and suggests he get another line. Even though she’s a world renowned psychiatrist, she can’t fall out of love with him.
She understands that he made his choice, but it will be hard for her to watch because she wants him to be happy. This whole “destiny” thing will only lead to misery. When he tries to hug her, she pushes him away and he walks out. She weeps.
Ridge goes to the Forrester house. Most of the family is out by the pool so he sits in the house with Brooke. She knows he cares about Taylor. He admits telling her that he is back with her wasn’t easy.
She’s sure it was hard for Taylor to hear it but she’s a strong lady. It would be awful if she were to fall into the wrong hands.
Taylor goes to Il Giardino and runs into Deacon. She tells him that everyone is on edge and she is trying to figure out how Sheila escaped. It occurred to her that Sheila might have contacted him. If she has, he needs to tell her now.
At the loft, Quinn and Carter talk about how great it is to be back together and doing things like a normal couple. They kiss. She tells him she explained everything to Wyatt. He’s happy for them but not so crazy about Eric.
She admits she’s disgusted by Donna luring Eric away with her honey bottle. Eric made his choice and she made hers and just wants to focus on Carter’s body. He teases her by calling her “honey.”
She forbids that and reminds him that if it wasn’t for her, he’d be stuck on a miserable honeymoon with Paris. He feels kind of bad for leaving her at the altar. Quinn dismisses it and points out she’s young and will be fine.
Quinn can’t imagine a future without him and now she doesn’t have to. He suggests they head to roof to grill. She’d rather stay in bed and build up an appetite.
After sex, she tells him how much she wants a cheeseburger. He says they are incredible together as lovers and friends. She claims she’s happier than she’s ever been and it’s all because of him and their madcap adventure.
She can’t wait to see where their love story will take them.
