As Paris Ends Things with Zende, Sheila Shows Up at Steffy’s, Who Remembers More About the Shooting

In the Thursday, May 5, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy struggles to remember the shooting, Paris gets frank with Zende, and Quinn and Carter chat about his troubles.

We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Taylor and Ridge kissed as Eric romped with Donna.

Sitting in her room, Sheila looks at Finn’s ring and wallet as she remembers shooting him. Deacon interrupts her ruminating.

“I want to make sure you didn’t do something awful. Something you couldn’t take back,” he says, handing her a doggy bag. She asks if he thinks losing Finn was her karma.

Deacon is sure she had nothing to do with Finn’s random death. She really misses him and his beautiful face. The only thing that can help ease her pain in Hayes. “I need to see my grandson,” she says.

She fumes about Li never letting her say a final goodbye to Finn. Now Hayes is all she has. Deacon advises that going to Steffy now would be a mistake.

“Facing Steffy might be the risk I have to take,” she says.

Taylor comes down the stairs of the cliff house and finds Steffy staring and sobbing at photos of Finn. She can’t imagine the pain her daughter is in.

Steffy still can’t believe Finn will never walk through the door again. He used to fill the house with laughter and love and now he’s gone. All she can do is find the monster who took him away.

Frustrated, Steffy still can’t remember anything specific about what happened that night. Her mother reminds her that’s normal with trauma.

Sitting down and shaking her head, Steffy wonders when her memory will be triggered. She can hear Hayes through the baby monitor so goes off to check on him.

Sheila arrives at the door and begs Taylor to let her see her grandson. She reminds her that she lost Finn and Hayes is her last connection.

Reluctantly, Taylor lets her in and nervously fiddles. Sheila reminds her that Li shut her out and wouldn’t let her say goodbye to Finn. She’s condemned to a life in which she will never have the chance to make him smile.

Taylor hopes she’s not thinking of hurting herself again. She encourages her not to make things worse by blaming herself for something that was not her fault.

Steffy returns and is appalled to see Sheila. Taylor explains why she is there. Her daughter is determined to keep her away from Hayes. Sheila decides this was a bad idea.

Quinn bursts into Forrester Creations to asks Carter for his opinion on some of her latest jewelry. He asks her how things went with Eric last night.

She’s not sure they should be discussing that. It’s what got them into trouble in the first place. Carter doesn’t think she’s any trouble… but he is. She assumes he’s talking about Paris.

She reminds him that Paris blew their lives apart. Why would he want to be with her? He admits he was on the rebound from her, but claims Paris did not take advantage of him.

He claims it was about him getting over and is thankful Zende doesn’t know about his fling with Paris. They talk about how great Zende would be for Paris. Quinn doesn’t like her, but can see why she would fall for Carter.

She knows what it’s like to be alone with him and all his sexual super powers. It’s clear why Paris would be head over heels for him. But while he may have been caught up in that, he doesn’t feel the same about her.

When Paris strides into Zende’s office, she bluntly backs him off when he tries to kiss her cheek. Zende can tell there is something on her mind.

Paris tells him he deserves honesty about her feelings for him. She tells him how amazing he is and all the things he deserves. He guesses she’s ending things and jumps across the room.

She tells him there will always be a connection. He never gave up on a future with her. Paris says her feelings changed and she’s sorry. Zende doesn’t regret a single moment and is grateful for what they had.

But he wonders if this is about something that was missing between them, or if there is someone else.

She admits there is someone: Carter. Zende gets choked up.
