In the Monday, September 20, 2021, full episode recap of Bold and the Beautiful, Quinn and Carter try not to cave to their desires, while Steffy and Finn spend some alone time together, and Eric has to deal with Katie butting her nose into his business. At Carter’s, he and Quinn make out like gangbusters. Quinn stops. She feels guilty. It doesn’t matter if Eric sent her with a note of permission. Carter says they can stop but he doesn’t want to. They make out some more and Quinn can’t lie. She’s wanted to be in his arms again. Carter has wanted to hold her. “This is torture,” she says, kissing him. “I love you,” she says.

At home, Eric thinks about Quinn as he takes in her portrait, drinking. Katie drops by looking for Ridge and Brooke. Eric says she just missed them. Katie will go. She doesn’t want to interrupt him and Quinn. “Quinn’s out for the evening,” Eric admits. Katie wants him to be happy and finds he’s too forgiving. He’s there alone while Quinn is out for the night, “And where the hell is she?”Katie doesn’t think Quinn knows how lucky she is. Eric reminds her that she knows marriage is complicated. Katie digresses but he’s giving Quinn everything she needs. He denies that she is. “Are you talking sexually?” Katie asks. She holds his hand and says they don’t need to get into it but she cares. He knows it’s coming from a good place. He tells her that she and her Logan sisters are big fans. He’s a big fan of theirs, too. Katie sings his praises, telling him how much of a rock star is and he doesn’t need to settle. Eric thanks her and calls her a good friend. They embrace. “Okay,” she says. She’s next door if he needs her. She toddles on home. When Quinn arrives home, Eric is upstairs. He stares at her. He’s in bed waiting for her when she gets upstairs. He asks how her night was. “Did you give him my note?” She did. He asks what happened and she tells him she can’t…”Did you make love?” She says they did. “Good,” he tells her. He wants to give her anything, but he wishes it was him. They snuggle.

Steffy and Finn get amorous in their bedroom. She thinks it’s his lucky night. They kiss and banter. She wants to do something special for Finn. “I can be sweet when I want to be,” she teases. He knows that and they agree they’re in a better place because of the last few weeks. She knows Finn would do anything for them. She knows cutting ties with his birth mother was not easy. “It was necessary,” he tells her. She thinks he’s “so incredible.” She can’t imagine her life without him. They make love.
