In the Thursday, August 25, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Hope and Brooke talk Taylor’s plans, a new portrait is revealed, and Finn tells everyone about his devotion to his wife.
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Brooke told Hope they were under attack and Thomas refused to let Douglas leave before the family dinner.
Hope brings Brooke tea in the cabin. Brooke marvels about how quiet it is. Liam is spending time with his father. That reminds Hope not to neglect her dad.
Brooke feels weird not being at the party with Ridge. But she gets it since they are still processing everything that’s happened.
Hope worries about Thomas spending another night at Eric’s. She’s surprised that Taylor is pushing so hard for her son to take custody.
Brooke is sure that Taylor is using this to pull Ridge away. Hope feels bad for putting her in this position, but her mom assures her this is not her fault.
They think Taylor should know better being a mother and psychologist. Hope worries about how this could affect things with Ridge. Her mom claims she won’t let it affect them.
Since everyone is busy tonight, Hope thinks she will pay her father a visit.
At Deacon’s, Sheila starts suggesting they re-decorate the place and then promises that she will fulfill whatever needs he has and give him a lot of money too.
She tells him she will be there for a long time so they might as well make the most of it. He needs to clock in at work. Sheila kisses him and encourages him to enjoy their new living arrangement.
Tauntingly, she suggests she might come down and keep him company. He worries. Snapping, she orders him to chill and gives him a kiss.
They make out until he reminds her he has to get back to work. She mopes about Finn and wonders how he really feels about her supposed death.
She’s already bored. He tells her to lay low and stay quiet. Once he leaves, she gets dressed. Hope shows up and walks through the open door.
“Who are you?” she asks.

At Eric’s, his son thanks him for throwing this little shindig. Eric is happy to have the family together again, especially Finn and Steffy.
Taylor turns to Ridge and tells him the miracle of Monaco lives on. They flashback to their kiss.
As Donna and Eric kiss, Li shows up with some wine. Eric greets her and says they are still marveling at her saving her son. She’s thrilled to have many more years with her beautiful boy. Eric says they are both members of the family.
Ridge stares at Li. After he and Taylor argue about stuffed monkeys, Donna comes in and asks for some help putting a new portrait over the mantle.
She tells everyone that she is back and as the new lady of the house, she will be putting her permanent stamp on it. The person they see when they walk through the door will be in the portrait.
She pulls off the cover and reveals it is a painting of Eric. Everyone thinks this is wonderful.
Thomas tells him he deserves this. It’s an honor to share a home with him.
His grandad and dad have taught him all he knows. He went through some dark times but is coming out the other side. They were always there for him.
Ridge hugs his son and tells him how proud he is. Steffy and Taylor are moved.
Steffy, Finn, and Kelly hang out and talk about how happy they are.
Finn stands up and tells everyone that it has been a long road and he wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for his life. As he regained consciousness, he imagined a moment like this.
His wife’s name has been a mantra for him and gave him the strength to pull through. He thinks they are lucky to have such a connection. They kiss.
The kids run around and Eric drinks martinis and tells them about the joy of being a grandparent. Ridge thanks his father for giving them all what they didn’t know they needed.
Ridge puts his arm around Taylor and thanks her for giving him such a great family. She says it’s everything to see Steffy and Finn laughing with their kids.
Ridge promises to be the best man he can be. He goes around the room hugging people.
Donna slips away and calls Brooke to fill her in on the evening. She says the only problem is Taylor is in her place. Brooke is sure that Taylor is exploiting the family bonding.
