In the Friday, November 5, 2021, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila wants to celebrate a fake anniversary with Deacon so Hope and Finn will see how in love they are, while Deacon makes a bold move and Hope can see what her mom saw in Deacon. Soaps Spoilers has Thursday’s B&B recap where Sheila revealed the next part of her scheme to Deacon.
Hope’s near tears when she tells her mom that she’d deny her a relationship with her dad because of their past. Brooke thought she lost Bridge forever. “But you didn’t. The two of you got through it,” Hope says. At the time, Brooke loved Deacon. Brooke says she was in love with Ridge, even though they weren’t together at the time. Hope says, “There must have been something there for you to make me.” She gets why her mama found him charming, clever, and handsome but she says there’s a kindness in his eyes. Brooke asks her kid not to be fooled. There can be selfishness and cruelty. She asks why her mother ignored that. She answers her own question, “Because you loved him.” Brooke can see she wants to believe that. “Mayne that’s what it was. I don’t know. There was definitely a connection,” she admits, and flashes to Deacon tell in her he never felt this way in his life. There was sweetness and tenderness too. She laughs. “Why are we talking about this?” Hope wants to give her dad another chance. She wants the same chance Brooke had with her own father. She gets a text and needs to go give Beth a bath.
Sheila wants to celebrate her fake anniversary as a couple with Deacon. Deacon thinks this will push Hope away. Sheila pulls out her Photoshopped photo of them as a big happy family. He’s surprised she actually thinks them teaming up will work. “Uh, delusional. Table for one,” he says. This won’t help him win over Hope and Brooke. Sheila’s surprised. She starts laughing that he wants to win over Brooke. ‘Talk about a table for one!” They discuss what Hope wants. “She’s an adult. Who cares what Brooke wants?” Deacon says it’s easier if Brooke is on board. He doesn’t want to cause harm to his daughter. She’s married to Liam, he reminds Sheila. He isn’t the guy he would have chosen for her and calls him squirrely. As they talk, Deacon reveals he’s never gotten over Brooke. “You and every other man in Los Angeles. Once you’ve had Brooke Logan, you just can’t have anybody else.” He laughs. “You’re not wrong.” Sheila says it’ll never happen. Deacon takes off.

Liam arrives at Forrester to see Ridge. He got his text to meet and assumes it has to do with Sheila and Deacon. Ridge nods emphatically. Later, Ridge says, “So they’re together?” Liam nods. “Apparently so. Deacon and Sheila sitting in a tree.” That makes Ridge want to throw up in his mouth. He calls the two a couple of con artists. If Deacon comes to his door, it’s getting slammed in his face. Ridge laughs. “That’s all I wanted to hear.”
Deacon turns up at Brooke’s. He was hoping to see her and Hope. Brooke’s reluctant but lets her in. Ridge will be home soon, she warns. She hears he’s with Sheila and calls her dangerous. If he’s trying to prove he’s changed, that isn’t the way to go about it. Deacon isn’t with her. He call her a step in the wrong direction. He came to apologize. For everything. For the man he was, things he did to her, all the pain he caused. Brooke doesn’t need or want an apology. She laughs. “I just want you to leave.” Deacon wants to stay and be a part of his kid and grandkids life. He asks for forgiveness. Shey shared something powerful once. He knows she’d never allow it to happen again but the memory might allow her to forgive for Hope’s sake. He admits he’s fantasized about her at his side and Hope with them as a family. “Oh my God,” Brooke says, laughing. He shrugs. A guy can dream. Brooke asks Deacon what’s wrong with her. It’s been years. He’s never been able to put her behind him. He calls their kid moral and wonderful because of their love. Hope walks in and defends her father. “I need both of you,” she says. She’s dreamed of them both being in the same room and it’s family happening. She wants to make things right as a family. Brooke tears up. “My dad is home,” she cries in Deacon’s arms.
