In the Monday, September 19, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Hope worries that the family feud is going too far, Brooke has a surprise planned for Ridge, and Thomas urges his father to reunite with Taylor again.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where Ridge claimed not be jealous while having a fit about Brooke hugging Bill and Thomas asked Carter for custody advice.
At Forester Creations, Paris models another of Zende’s designs and says she feels like air. Ridge admires it. Thomas says he’ll have to step up his game.
Ridge admits he’s had a hard time focusing. His son suggests there’s an easy way to solve that: dump Brooke.
Ridge reminds him he doesn’t want him talking about Brooke like that. Zende and Paris take off and Thomas starts listing all the reasons his parents need to reunite.
Ridge feels like this conversation keeps happening over and over again. They rehash recent events and Thomas reminds him of the “special time” he has with Taylor.
His father reminds him he is married to Brooke and loves her. Thomas says he doesn’t love her like he loves his mom.
At the cliff house, Steffy and Finn make out after playing hooky from work to hang out with the kids and build sandcastles. They love making memories.
She suggests they extend their family day to her mom and dad. “You dog,” he laughs.
As Steffy goes on about this, her mom walks in and sighs, shaking her head about her dragging Finn into her reunion campaign.
Steffy tells her mom she belongs with Ridge. Maybe it could happen tonight. Her mom worries about the look in her eye. Steffy smiles ear to ear.
Before Taylor can tell her off, she has to leave to take a call from a patient. As soon as she walks out, Steffy calls her brother and orders him to bring Ridge over.
Soon, Thomas and Ridge arrive. Taylor returns after finishing her call. Steffy announces she wanted to continue family day and include her parents. She offers them some charcuterie.
After they crack open the wine, they start gabbing about Hayes and his future. Steffy talks about how loving and supportive the family is.
Ridge still can’t believe Finn is there and wearing a shirt. Kids having their parents is the most important thing. They toast to the Forresters.
Steffy agrees with all this and is so grateful to have the miracle of Finn. Her whole perspective on life has changed and she’s realized how precious their family is.
She knows that Ridge and Taylor are sick of being told about their energy and the profound way their love touches them all.
Thomas goes on about how Taylor has made her whole life about helping people. They need them back together to lead the family forward.
Taylor points out how they are looking at each other and urges them to stop wasting time and start their lives together today. Ridge and Taylor stare into each other’s eyes.

At Brooke’s, she tells her daughter that she has a plan to remind Ridge of what makes them so good together. Hope says they are pretty incredible, even after the challenges they’ve faced.
Brooke complains about all the “noise” that stops them from focusing on each other. Hope says she stood up for her when Steffy was bashing her to Thomas. The siblings seem to have been putting a lot of pressure on Ridge.
This isn’t news to Brooke. Hope complains the “stupid family feud” is being rekindled. She feels like the fragile peace between the families might end if it hasn’t already.
Brook says that no one is holding Ridge captive. He knows his own mind, but she wishes Taylor would go away and find another guy. She’s her husband and they have a future.
Hope wishes Steffy and Thomas understood Brooke isn’t to blame for keeping her parents apart. Brooke claims she never did anything underhanded to keep them apart, but she is to blame because he loves her.
Brooke’s phone beeps. It’s just a reminder that she missed her physical. This does remind her she needs to reconnect physically with Ridge.
She thanks her daughter for all her support. She’s the most amazing daughter a mother could have.
