In the Thursday, May 19, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Eric tells Quinn about Sheila, Brooke tells Hope and Liam about the bottle switch, and Steffy hopes Ridge hasn’t changed his mind about her mom.
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Ridge and Brook shared a kiss after he said he wanted to break the cycle of hurt.
Hope pours wine at the cabin and hands Liam some after he puts the kids to bed. He hugs her and she wonders what’s wrong. He’s worried about how the latest upset to Steffy’s life will upset their lives.
Brooke barges in and tells them that Steffy finally remembered that Sheila shot her and Finn. Liam has to think his way through this. His eyes dart around and his jaws drop.
Liam suddenly remembers catching Sheila “futzing” with Steffy’s IV and assumes she was trying to kill her. Hope worries that Sheila gets away with everything but her mom says she won’t see the light of day again.
Brooke adds that she was also a victim of Sheila. It’s because of her that she drank that night.
Hope is livid. Liam says Sheila is evil. Brooke doesn’t really understand what was going on in Sheila’s mind but it seemed to work. Hope lists Sheila’s many misdeeds and asks if Ridge is finally coming home.
Brooke admits he said a lot of caring things. They will always love each other but he’s not coming back. The good thing is, he will be living at Eric’s so he can think.
She has faith that he will choose a life with her rather than Taylor. She’s confident it is only a matter of time.

Taylor anxiously looks out the window of the cliff house. Steffy assures her that Ridge will be back soon. He strolls in.
Taylor immediately asks what happened with Brooke. He tells them Brooke’s mind was blown by the truth about the shooting. Steffy will hate Sheila the rest of her life.
Her father hugs her and tells her Finn was a hero. He admits it was hard to watch Brooke realize Sheila turned her whole life upside-down. Taylor beats herself up for thinking Sheila could change.
“I was so wrong,” she admits. She and Steffy feel terrible about what happened to Brooke. But Steffy hopes this doesn’t mean things have changed for her father and Brooke.
Taylor tells her not to put on the pressure. Steffy tells her parents how nice it is to see them re-discover each other and feels like they are the happiest when they are together.
She wants to hear Ridge say this will not be erased because of what Sheila did to Brooke. Sheila may have pushed Brooke to drink, but she still kissed Deacon.
Ridge needs some space and will be staying with his father. Taylor thinks that’s a smart idea. She tells him that, whatever happens, the time they have had has been a beautiful reminder of who they are together.
“I like us a lot. You’re my best friend and I love you,” Taylor tells him. That will be true no matter what. He hugs her.
At home, Eric paces and fiddles with his wedding ring as he thinks about holding Donna in his arms. Quinn comes down the stairs and asks him up to bed for a back rub.
Eric announces there is something she needs to know… He explains that Steffy has regained her memory. “It was Sheila!” he says. She’s shocked but doesn’t know why. This is a whole new level of diabolical.
His heart is breaking for Steffy. His wife hugs him and then makes martinis. Eric explains that Brooke was also targeted by Sheila.
He adds that Ridge will be staying with them for awhile. His son has some thinking to do about the women in his life. He’s still convinced that Ridge and Brooke belong together.
