In the Friday, October 22, 2021, full episode recap of Bold and the Beautiful, Eric’s flattered by Donna’s admission, Brooke catches Charlie and Pam, and Sheila fabricates a relationship. Soaps Spoilers has Thursday’s B&B recap where Eric overheard Donna say she loves him.
At Il Giardino, Hope and Finn are beside themselves, speechless, after seeing Sheila and Deacon’s passionate kiss. Hope goes to confront her father. He jokes that he caught her. He’s not usually a PDA guy. “Sometimes I just can’t resist.” Finn appears and Sheila pretends she didn’t see him. Introductions are made. Hope didn’t know they knew each other. She wants answers. Sheila says it started with letters from prison. They were life-changing. “We’re a couple,” she says, leaning on Deacon’s shoulder. Sheila lies that they started to flirt and then apologizes to Hope for embarrassing her. Deacon encourages Sheila to tell their story. Hope wonders why they started corresponding. She tells her what started it off was an apology letter. They learned they had a lot in common. That’s when it happened. That’s when we fell in love. Deacon nods. “Mmhmm.” Hope seems skeptical. Finn stands around, furrowing his brow with his arms crossed over his chest.

In Brooke’s office, Donna’s embarrassed that Eric heard her confession of love. Brooke encourages her to stay and tells Eric that she’s embarrassed. Donna trie to leave twice and Brooke urges her to talk to Eric. Eric smiles. Brooke thinks her sister is the kind of woman he needs in his life. She thinks if they spend time together, all of his problems will go away. Brooke leaves the room. Eric is flattered that Donna still cares. She made his day. She calls him the true love of her life. She breaks down and admits their marriage was the best moment of her life. “Truly, I love you.” He admits those moments were important to him. She gets a tissue and he sees some honey in her purse. She’s more embarrassed and he’s shocked that she keeps it in there all the time. She keeps a stash in her desk, too. He asks why. She opens it and says sometimes she licks it off her finger. She does just that and then he licks her finger. He touches her face. “I’m more than remembering,” he says, getting ready to kiss.
Outside, Pam complains about Donna borrowing her scissors. Charlie listens as she says she’ll have to check Donna’s drawers. She finds honey and thinks it makes her feel closer to Eric. Charlie wonders if she’s ever gotten over him. Brooke appears and finds Charlie holding the honey. “Are you going through my sister’s things?” They try to explain but she doesn’t care. She gossips that Donna is in there with Eric. “Well, I’m not interested in gossiping and you shouldn’t be either,” Brooke says. Pam insists it’s fine since she sits with Donna all day long. Brooke takes them into the design room and starts to tell them what happened. That her sis is in love with Eric. Charlie reminds them Eric’s married to Quinn. Brooke couldn’t care less and doesn’t think anyone else will, either. Pam agrees. Brooke wonders where this is going to go.

At the cliff house, Steffy tells Liam that at least Hope grew up knowing what a loser her birth father was. Finn’s vulnerable to Sheila. Liam argues that he isn’t dumb. At least he knows enough to stay away from her. They worry that Sheila and Deacon could hatch a crazy scheme and then they’ll all pay the price.
