In the Tuesday, December 6, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon tries convincing Sheila to turn herself in, Thomas makes excuses to Hope, and Finn gets a second opinion.
We also have Monday’s B&B recap where Brooke thanked Steffy for stopping the wedding before having a creepy run-in with Thomas, and Finn thought Sheila is alive.
In his office, Finn tells Steffy he was never convinced by Sheila’s death. He asked Detective Sanchez to help him prove that she faked her death.
Steffy knows it feels like they got no justice, but all the evidence points to a bear attack.
He’s sure they would have found more than a toe from an animal attack. Faking her own death was her only way out.
This gets uncomfortable when he gets the toe out and places it under the microscope.
Immediately, he decides there was no attack and Sheila did this to herself.
“Sheila’s alive!” realizes Steffy.
He sends a picture to a colleague for a second opinion. It’s confirmed.
Finn says that’s an amputated toe. This only proves how diabolical she is.
Steffy freaks out and her husband assures her that they are onto Sheila so they have the upper hand.
“I will find Sheila Carter!” he vows, promising to see she goes to prison.
At Deacon’s, Sheila paints her toenails and tells her missing toe that she would do anything to stay near her son.
Deacon arrives and wonders about the disturbing smile on her face.
She says she’s been counting her lucky toes.
As he drinks, he warns of catastrophe and suggests she turn herself in. He doesn’t want to be taken down with her.
Deacon feels like he’s been suckered by a sob story. She gets on her knees and reminds him of all the gratitude she’s shown him.
She didn’t cut off her toe so she could spend the rest of her life limping around a prison cell.
Sheila tells him about all the agony she went through. He repeats she is putting them both in jeopardy.
He’s sorry, but if she doesn’t turn herself in, he will do it.
She warns he should know better than to threaten her and storms out.
Sheila slips into her latest costume and tells herself there is always a way out.
Hope confronts Thomas for showing his face at Forrester Creations and accuses him of being shameless.
She’s furious. She believed in him and so did their son.
All he’s done is lie. Why should she listen to him?
He tries to rationalize what he did and how Ridge and Brooke went back and forth over and over.
She points out how much he has made his family suffer.
It was not fair for him to manipulate people and use their son.
He was just trying to do something good. He’s lost everything but he, at least, wants her to listen to him.
Working closely with her and having his son by his side let him see a possible future. Now that’s all fallen apart.
He doesn’t want to lose their connection or his relationship with his son.
Thomas claims he wasn’t being malicious; he was just trying to save his mom’s heart.
She points out that the call to CPS may have been fake but the visit was real. He never should have asked his son to lie after he learned the truth.
He refuses to believe it when she says his son doesn’t want to see him again. He’s destroyed Douglas’ love for him.
He blames Donna for this.
She yells that this is all on him. It’s hard for her to understand that their son could even be related to a liar like him.
“I can’t believe I ever trusted you again,” she complains.
After some pacing, he insists he didn’t manipulate her and their connection is real.
She says he threw away their bond at work and as parents. Liam and her mom were right about him all along.
He begs her not to give up on him.
Laughing bitterly, she can’t believe she fell for his earnest routine. She should have trusted herself.
She tried to trust him but he crossed a line when he tried to kiss her.
Thomas says that’s not a horrible thing. He loves her.
“I love Liam. Never you. Especially after this betrayal,” she says.
No matter how talented he is, she can’t fathom working with him again. All she can see is a sad, pathetic man who kept her from Beth and didn’t care about his son’s safety.
She walks out.
He feels like he didn’t get a chance to explain.
