In the Wednesday, December 7, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon worries about where Sheila has gone, Steffy and Finn weigh the evidence concerning Sheila’s attack, and Brooke quizzes Carter about his feelings for Katie.
We also have Tuesday’s B&B recap where Steffy and Finn realized Sheila is alive, Hope angrily confronted Thomas, and Sheila stormed out of Deacon’s in a new disguise.
In his office, Finn tells Steffy that the cuts on Sheila’s toe are too precise to be from a bear. It was good enough to get the cops to stop looking for her.
The doctor says they need to go through the evidence to see if Sheila is really alive.
They have no time to waste. Sheila may be more dangerous than ever.
Going over the evidence, he claims it’s all circumstantial. He’s confident they must be right and Sheila is alive.
“She staged her own death,” Steffy agrees.
Finn wonders where she could be. His wife thinks she’s crazy enough to stay in LA.
She adds there is someone who can give them answers.
Deacon paces his place and worries about where Sheila has gone now.
He packs up her stuff and justifies what he’s doing.
Steffy and Finn show up and thank him for saving them after they were shot.
They know it sounds crazy, but they know that Sheila is alive and faked her own death.
Deacon stands back and controls his panic.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke smiles at old photos of herself and Ridge until Carter interrupts. She tells him that Ridge left to take time to think.
Carter hopes the annulment papers he delivered will have been a waste of time.
Pouring some water, she explains she told him she couldn’t do the back and forth thing and needed total commitment.
She points out Katie has also been re-evaluating her life. Brooke asks if his friendship with her sister has evolved into something more.
She’s protective of Katie and reminds him she has a heart transplant.
She also knows about all the great things he said about Katie to Bill since her sister was eavesdropping.
Carter thinks Katie is remarkable and deserves better than Bill.
Brooke thinks it would be the best that her sister moves on with someone she admires and respects. Despite Carter’s slip up with Quinn, she thinks he’s a man of integrity.
Carter is sure that Bill is trying to get into Katie’s head.

At Bill’s, he’s surprised to find Katie packing up some of Will’s clothes to send to him.
She senses he’s not himself and is appalled that he’s wearing his sword necklace.
Bill isn’t in a good place or making the best decisions. The necklace protects him from himself.
She assumes this has to do with her sister. He drinks.
He’s been making bad decisions for so long. He’s been wanting what he should want when what he needs is her.
“I’ve been a colossal ass,” he says, telling her how much he needs her.
She gulps.
Bill gets choked up talking about how much he hates what he’s become.
What she hates is that he loves her sister.
He can’t believe she wants to give up on him and their family for Carter.
She explains that what he wants can’t happen and he knows why.
Bill says everyone has abandoned him, even Justin.
“We can start over,” he begs, promising he will make her the center of his world.
Inching closer, he swears it will be her and only her.
She says she will always care but anything more than that is not possible. She’s moving on.
Katie doesn’t know if that will be with Carter, but she can see he’s telling the truth when she looks in his eyes.
Bill tells her he’s done all he can to reach her, but she won’t let him back in. It hurts him and makes him angry.
She sobs. Bill won’t give up and won’t lose her to Carter or anyone else.
“I do not lose,” says Bill, telling her how much he needs her.
