In the Thursday, September 22, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Bill catches up with Li, Thomas defends what Steffy did to Hope, and Brooke lays into Taylor.
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Hope was appalled by Steffy stirring the pot, and Taylor admonished Steffy for parent trapping her.
At the cliff house, Brooke orders Taylor to keep her daughter out of her marriage. She is being immature and disrespecting her relationship with Ridge. “I won’t allow it!” she declares.
Brooke tells her to stop her daughter from interfering. Sighing, Taylor shakes her head. “I’m going to ground her as soon as she gets home from school,” Taylor says, sarcastically.
Brooke thinks Steffy should be focused on her family, not Ridge’s marriage. Taylor points out that everyone makes mistakes, but Brooke has made the same ones for decades.
“He chose me,” Brooke reminds her, explaining they call each other “destiny” because no one will ever come between them.
Taylor doesn’t think Brooke makes Ridge happy, but it’s his choice who to be with. She’s not a homewrecker. Brooke brings up her kissing him.
Taylor says she was kissing him back and it was a moment. “With my husband!” Brooke repeats.
She understands it was all very exciting for Ridge… but she’s sure Taylor was being manipulative.
Taylor insists that’s not the case. As much as they fight, she doesn’t want to hurt her.
But she loves Ridge and always will. She loves him for who he is, and he understands her better than anyone ever has.
“Your husband is in love with both of us,” Taylor explains.
She’s sure Brooke can see he’s torn. Brooke sighs and squints and shakes her head.
At Forrester Creations, Paris asks Hope what is going on between her and Steffy.
Hope doesn’t want to put her in the middle… but it’s serious and might get worse.
Although Hope wishes there was something she could do to help, this is bigger than all of them and has been going on since before she was born.
When Thomas steps in, Paris takes off.
He asks Hope if things are okay.
She wonders if he’s aware of his sister stopping her mom from speaking to Ridge.
Hope points out that his mother is trying to change and make up for his mistakes just as he is.
Thomas admits that he’s been working with his sister to get Brooke out of Ridge’s life.
He explains they were all at Steffy’s having a great time when she saw Brooke calling Ridge’s phone and answering.
Hope says Ridge’s decision of who to be with has to be his own.
Thomas couldn’t stop his sister. Besides, if a missed call can ruin a relationship, it’s not much of one. Hope thinks it was a low move.
He doesn’t want to fight with her.
They are in a good place. After comparing their families to those in Romeo and Juliet, she reminds her they died in the end.
Thomas understands how she feels about her mom, but tells her he and his sister have felt all the worry and frustration she has whenever Ridge turns to Brooke.

At Il Giardino, Bill talks JJ (Angela Bishop) into letting him book a venue through her.
Once she takes off, Li arrives. She tells Bill that things keep getting better for her.
He thinks she deserves it.
He invites her to join him.
They chat about Finn and he tells her that was a miracle she made happen.
He would have done the same in her situation.
In retrospect, she realized she should have told Steffy what she was doing.
Bill tells her not to beat herself up like that. Finn is lucky to have a mother who loves him so fiercely.
He’s happy to see her smiling again. When he met her in that alley, he could see her fire and passion and was drawn to her. Li tells him how kind he was and thanks him.
He’d appreciate if she stopped thanking him.
She can’t. She thinks he’s a good man. “That is stretching it,” he says.
Bill is enjoying getting to know this version of him.
She’s pretty impressive and it’s a pleasure to have a strong woman sitting across from him.
