Inga Cadranel
Inga Cadranel has exited General Hospital as Harmony Miller, a role she’s had since February 2019. The exit comes after she was struck by Sasha’s car and died from the extent of her injuries.
Hannah Choi
Hannah Choi will be appearing May 9 as Nurse Julie.
Nancy Lee Grahn
The actress reported on Twitter that Nancy Lee Grahn will exit her role as Alexis Davis on GH for a short time while she recuperates from surgery. Stephanie Erb will fill in during her time off starting April 25. Erb is well known for her roles in True Blood, Ray Donovan, Criminal Minds, and Grey’s Anatomy.

Chris Van Etten
Mark your calendars. Thursday May 5 Chris Van Etten returns to General Hospital as Chet Driscoll, Amy’s brother. Viewers haven’t seen him since his date with Terry (Cassandra James) on Valentine’s Day.
Michael E Knight
Michael E. Knight is back as Martin during the week of May 2.
A little reminder, he returned to GH during the week of December 6 as Martin Grey, Laura’s half-brother. The actor told Soap Opera Digest, “It’s really great to be back after being off for a few weeks. General Hospital is a wonderful place, and it’s always a joy tot work with Genie. S he’s one of my favorite people, period. I can’t say enough good things about her. And truly, my hat is off to Frank Valenti.”
Amelie McLain
Amelie McLain will be exiting her role as Charlotte Cassadine temporarily as she has been sent off to boarding school.
Vanessa Mathison
Vanessa Mathison, real wife of Cameron Mathison (Drew) will appear on GH as Mia. She’ll be in scenes on April 20 as an executive coach who meets with Drew.
Holly Gagnier
Holly Gagnier returned to General Hospital January 21 as Jennifer Smith. Gagnier returned April 6 in a scene where she admits she’s after the Ice Princess.
For those who don’t remember her, Jennifer is the daughter of mobster, Frank Smith, who was portrayed by Mitchell Ryan. Gagnier hasn’t been seen on GH since 2015.
Some will remember her from her role as Ivy Jannings/Ivy Selejko on Days of our Lives (1985-1987), as Gina Pomeroy on Baywatch in the 1990s.
Josh Coxx
Josh Coxx returns to General Hospital as Neil’s brother, Brendan Byrne on March 31. He exits on April 21 in a final way when the character is killed off.
Gregory Harrison
Gregory Harrison makes his way back to Port Charles as Finn (Michael Easton) and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) father. Harrison returns to GH the week of April 4.
Michael Blake Kruse
Michael Blake Kruse has confirmed he will be taking on the role of Rory at General Hospital. Rory Cabrera is a cop for GCPD. The actor tweeted, “OFFICER CABRERA REPORTING FOR DUTY, SIR. I mean, ma’am. I mean Commissioner Ashford.” He’s already having fun with his job on social media, stating, “A handful of people are asking me to arrest them at random. The PCPD does not operate in that fashion.” Kruse is on contract, and his first airdate is March 29.

Joshua Benard
Joshua Benard makes a return to General Hospital as Adam on Wednesday, March 16. He was last seen Tuesday, March 8. Benard is the son of Maurice Benard who portrays Sonny Corinthos. What viewers may not realize is that he once portrayed a young Sonny in 2018 in the standalone episode.
Holly Kaplan
Holly Kaplan will take over the role of Monica Quartermaine on GH, temporarily, starting March 15. Kaplan portrayed Nurse Brenda on Days of our Lives from 2000-2003, she was on House M.D., The Mentalist, and How to Get Away With Murder. Not to worry. Leslie Charleson is back soon — from the actress’ Facebook page, she shares, “For those of you who have been wondering why “Monica” looked a little different today…a huge “thank you!” goes out to Holly Kaplan for filling in for me when I wasn’t available. Not to worry though…l’ll be back!”
Lydia Look
Folks haven’t seen Lydia Look as Selina Wu for a little while, since the actress had taken an extended vacation to visit family in Singapore. Look is back in USA and back taping scenes. Selina will be seen back in Port Charles the week of March 14.
Priscilla Garita
Priscilla Garita makes her way to General Hospital on March 10 in a temporary recast role as Harmony. Viewers have seen Garita on GH in the past as Lupe, in 2011. She’s also well known for her role as Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald on NBC’s Passions and had a prominent role as Gabi Martinez Torres on Sunset Beach from 1997-1999. Garita has also played parts on All My Children, and Another World.
Tanisha Harper
Tanisha Harper will be debuting on GH as Jordan Ashford, PCPD police commissioner. She’s replacing Briana Nicole Henry, who was last seen in September 2021. Last we saw Jordan, she was sent to a medical clinic in Albany, New York with one kidney and close to renal failure. Her first episode is March 2.
Deborah Strang
Deborah Strang returns to General Hospital as Betsy Frank on Monday, February 28 in scenes with Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Scotty (Kin Shriner).
Sean Blakemore
Sean Blakemore returned to General Hospital April 21,2021 and has now decided to exit the show as Shawn Butler. He explained on Twitter, February 25, when asked about a rumor that he was fired. “Lol…I appreciate you and ALL my wonderful supporters! I was absolutely NOT let go. It was my decision to exit the show because of other obligations. The GH family has been great to me! Who knows whats to come in the near future.” There is no word of his final airdate. SoapsSpoilers will update our readers when the time comes.

David Rees Snell
David Rees Snell will be seen on GH as Malcolm, Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) divorce lawyer. He will first begin airing the week of February 21.
Josh Adamson & Kristina Klebe
Josh Adamson heads to General Hospital to portray the role as Agent Krieger, along with Kristina Klebe as Agent Muller. The WSB authorities will be the ones to find Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Peter (Wes Ramsey) in Switzerland.
Max Decker
Max Decker has been in scenes recently with Charles Shaughnessy’s Victor Cassadine. Decker portrays Johann, the sidekick.
Kate Orsini
Kate Orsini debuts on General Hospital February 15 as Rebecca. She’s Carly’s (Laura Wright) divorce lawyer. Orsini isn’t a stranger to Port Charles. She portrayed Eve/Rebecca Diamond starting from 2007 on and off. She’s also been seen in NCIS, The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr. March, and as Gate Attendant/French Cop on Days of our Lives.
Helena Mattsson
Sofia Mattsson will be off for a few episodes and her sister, Helena Mattsson will take over the role of Sasha Gilmore, starting February 17, for two of episodes.
If she looks familiar, and not just because of the familial resemblance, viewers may remember her from Desperate Housewives (Irina Kosokov), The Rookie (Ashley McGrady), and Mistresses (Greta Jager).
Sofia Mattsson will return to her role the week of February 21.
Marc Samuel
Marc Samuel is back on General Hospital, portraying Felix DuBois on Monday, February 14. He’ll be in his first scenes with Carly (Laura Wright). We haven’t seen Felix in a year and don’t yet have any spoilers as to why he’s back.
Asante Jones
Folks will notice that Asante Jones has returned to General Hospital as Marcus Taggert. He’ll be seen on the February 11th episode of GH.
Isaiah Dell
Isaiah Dell was recast as Leo on General Hospital in the January 31 episode since Easton Rocket Sweda was off. The February 1 episode brought Sweda back into the role and of course, de-SORASd (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) the character.
Jane Elliot
Jane Elliot returns to General Hospital Monday January 3 as Tracy, with big news for Laura. Find out that terrible news in today’s GH recap. The actress leaves the role again on February 2.
Kelly Monaco/Lindsay Hartley
Kelly Monaco took some time off the ABC soap as Sam McCall in January and will be off canvas for a few episodes. Though the actress is back taping at the studio, General Hospital temporarily recast her with Lindsay Hartley. Readers will remember that Hartley was last seen on GH portraying Sam in August 2020. According to Soap Opera Digest, Hartley will first air starting February 3.
Damien Leake
Robert Gossett will not be portraying the role of Marshall Thomas Ashford on General Hospital on January 28. In his place is Damien Leake. The recast was for one day only, Friday’s episode. The previews for Monday show Gossett back in the role.
For those who find Leake familiar, he’s been in roles on Highlander, Apocalypse Now, Single Ladies, The Baxters and various other film and television series over the years. Incidentally, Leake also portrayed Calvin Blaine on General Hospital in 2011 for one episode.
Kin Shriner
It was December 31 when Kin Shriner posted on Twitter to let fans know that Scott Baldwin’s run on General Hospital was done so he’s heading to Florida to ride a Vespa around the tropics. There is no information yet on when his last airdate will be. He will air through January.

Shriner posted another Twitter shot of himself eating a crab cake on January 25 with the caption, “One last Fla stone crab for the road, heading to LA and back to General Hospital and not by way of Vespa thou it would be fun ride!” His disappearance may not be noticeable, since he’s been airing this month. Generally, they tape about two months in advance.

Stephen A. Smith
Stephen A. Smith will be returning to General Hospital as Brick on January 14. He’ll be in scenes with Sonny (Maurice Benard).
Constance Towers
According to her official Facebook page, Constance Towers (Helena Cassadine) will be back December at the ABC studios to tape an upcoming episode of General Hospital. She’ll air on Friday January 21. Readers recall we last saw Helena in February of 2020. She appeared to Valentin in a ghostly form when he learned he wasn’t a true Cassadine.
Towers posted again on her Facebook page, “I deeply appreciate the support I’ve received from each and every one of you who follow my Facebook page. I love portraying Helena and I’m thrilled with the response I’ve received to my appearance last Friday.”
She went on to say, “Thank you to everyone who took the time to call, tweet and snail mail the exec’s at ABC on behalf of Helena. With your help and support perhaps there will be another opportunity for Helena to shake things up in Port Charles. Much love, Constance”
Viron Weaver
Viron Weaver debuted December 14 as Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos. He took over for twins, Caleb and Kyler Ends.
Kristina Wagner
Kristina Wagner confirmed that she’s heading back to work on December 1 to resume her role on GH as Felicia Scorpio. The actress stated on Twitter, “Tomorrow I head back to work on General Hospital! Lucky me. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of that family once again. Here we go. More to come. Felicia Scorpio rides again.” The actress will be seen again the first week of January.

Amelie McLain
Amelie McLain debuted as Charlotte Cassadine on General Hospital on December 21. Scarlett Fernandez announced her departure from the show as Charlotte on December 20 on Instagram. She told fans, “I’m super grateful for the opportunity that @fvalentinigh and @markteschner gave me in 2016. Playing Charlotte Cassadine was my favorite and I’m sad it’s come to an end. I will miss my castmates and the crew and I know the fans will support the new actor playing Charlotte. Thank you for all the support!”

Genie Francis
As SoapsSpoilers previously reported, Genie Francis was back taping at GH after her summer holiday and the actress will first be seen as Laura Spencer, the week of December 6.
Lexi Ainsworth
Lexi Ainsworth posted an Instagram story revealing, “She’s back @generalhospitalabc,” which means we’ll see the actress return once again as Kristina Corinthos-Davis. No first airdate has been revealed. We’ll notify our readers when that information becomes available. Folks have been clamouring about a possible return, especially since Alexis told Victor that Kristina and Molly were out with friends on Thanksgiving in the December 2 episode of General Hospital. We have confirmation that she will be seen on Wednesday December 15 though she may be returning earlier.
Emma Samms
Emma Samms has been unable to return to General Hospital since the pandemic hit. The actress contracted COVID 19 and she’s still recovering from the battle. She has avoided her return though she has told Soap Opera Digest, “I desperately want to come back.” The show has been patient with her while she recovers as she does tend to lose her voice at the moment. Hopefully she will soon heal and be back in Port Charles.
