General Hospital recap for Thursday, August 25, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Carly and Drew throw caution to the wind, Liz learns what Finn did to her and Spencer gets an earful.
We also have Wednesday’s GH recap where Selena made threats toward Curtis, everyone made out, some because of the love potion, and Trina got to know Rory a little.
Drew and Carly make out like crazy and then both wonder if they should be doing this. They realize they don’t care and start up again. As they kiss, Drew lures her into the boathouse.
Outside, the grill starts fire.
On a call inside, Liv is losing her stuff when Sonny walks in. She begs him to do something about her creampuff dessert issue. She tells him about the Sicilian Thunderbolts that Leo made. He remembers hearing that it came from Cupid himself. Sonny’s stunned when Leo admits he put it in the lemonade. Sonny laughs. It’s harmless. Sonny helps Liv realize she had the dessert sent to the hotel. Yuri offers to get it but she says no. An alarm goes off and Leo covers his ears. Liv says there’s a fire at the boat house. Sonny rushes to see.
At the pool, Liesl and Scott try to convince Nina to go to the Quartermaine party but she refuses. Scotty says he doesn’t like that Cody Bell works for them but he’ll go with Nina and Liesl. Someone rushes in. There’s a disaster on their hands. They tell her about the creampuffs. Liesl and Scott think she should bring them to the party. They’ll thank her. “You two are evil,” she says, listening to their plan. They all take off.
Victor makes a martini for Ava in the library.
He talks about his complicated family and asks if she’s fallen from grace. She says she has, more times than he can count.
He asks if she wants a normal marriage. She just doesn’t want her husband to cheat.
They realize that Esme’s gone and she has nothing else to fear, so Victor asks why she isn’t back with Nik.
Is she afraid of being hurt again? She accuses him of being controlling.
He admires her clarity, though he calls her a cynic and a good match for Nikolas.
Victor is disappointed in him. He wonders what man in his right mind would cheat on her and with Esme.
Ava shrugs. He tells her when she attacks one Cassadine, she attacks them all.
He wants her to ask herself whose side she’s on. She thinks he’s threatening her.
He’s merely pointing out that secrets can be revealed and who would she turn to if hers were? Victor knows his nephew would take a bullet for her.

In the stables, Spencer talks to Nik about putting his heart out there and getting it crushed.
He tells his dad his plan for Trina failed and he didn’t get the goods on Esme.
His big chance to be the hero vanished with Esme — not that he misses her. Nik calls it heroic and thinks Trina agrees.
Spence says she’s over him and has moved on. He’s happy for her and almost looking forward to Pentonville.
Nobody will miss him except Grandma who isn’t in the country. Nikolas will miss him.
He won’t give up on him or Ava. He knows Spence hid there because of his love of riding.
When he’s out of Pentonville, they’ll feast. Spence loves that idea.
He smiles brightly, though inside, he can’t see it.
On the lawn, Terry catches Finn and Liz kissing. They tell her they’re in a good place now.
Finn recalls calling Liz’s sister. Terry comments on Liz’s hand but she says she was careless with a collection tube.
Talk turns to Terry’s love life. She heard from Chet, even this morning, but she’s let go. It’s the right thing to do. She leaves.
Finn starts talking about obstacles and making mistakes when Liesl and Scotty turn up asking what the long faces are about. They get no answers.
She goes and they take a walk to the stables and kiss.
He wishes he had the words to tell her what she means to him. They canoodle and he goes to get a blanket. She sees that Sarah is calling Finn’s phone and doesn’t seem happy.
Liv and Sonny rush outside to the grill, which is still on fire.
Sonny thinks fast and since there just happens to be a shovel nearby, he shovels dirt on it.
The fire is put out and in the boathouse, Drew and Carly are laying on a lounger, making out. They hear the commotion and rush outside.
Sonny and Liv realize what they’ve been up to and things are awkward.
Nina arrives inside. Leo realizes she used to be Wiley’s grandma.
She still is and heard about his new play. She’s sure he’ll steal the show.
Leo says that his mama said she stole Carly’s business. Yuri appears and Nina hears that Liv’s putting out a fire at the boathouse. She rushes to see.
When she arrives, she jumps into Sonny’s arms, exclaiming.
He smiles and Carly glares. When she backs up, she realizes there is no fire.
They explain Sonny put it out and she tells Liv that she’s not crashing the party. She brought the dessert since the delivery truck had another delivery and the creampuffs would have been delayed.
They go off to get them.
Meanwhile, Carly and Drew start cleaning up. Carly calls him a good kisser but she wants to slow things down to see where it’s going.
Nearby, Nina notices that something is going on between Carly and Drew.
Sonny shrugs it off and Nina mocks him. He tells her it’s their business and he likes that she’s there. She likes him. They make out.
Nikolas arrives in the library. He’s been looking for them. Victor says he and Ava were having a friendly drink.
She moves to go but Victor pulls out a cigar and tells them to stay. He tells them that an evening like this could mean new beginnings.
Ava tells Nik that his uncle threatened him. She “has to stay in this sham of a marriage or else.”
He tells her it doesn’t have to be a sham. She doesn’t think lawn games can make up for his philandering.
Nik thinks she feels something still but she was reminded tonight that she can only count on herself.
Nik pushes her. They were having fun today. She claims they were pretending. She throws cheating in his face again.
Outside, Victor finds Spencer upset.
He tells Spence to stop feeling sorry for himself and to think about how his father’s feeling. Nearby, Yuri runs into Terry. They introduce themselves and Terry seems shy. They go off together.
Victor later finds Liesl and Scotty about to kiss and they take one look at him and leave.
Back in the kitchen, Leo and Liv wonder if the potion worked as they eat s’mores raw.
Back in the library, Nikolas lures Ava in for a kiss. They kiss but she pulls away and tells him kisses can’t make up for what he did.
“You broke us the moment you slept with Esme!”
Nik’s face goes white as he looks behind her. Ava turns and finds Spencer, shocked.
