General Hospital recap for Monday, September 5, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Brook Lynn asks Sonny for a favor, Dex helps Joss find the bracelet, and TJ gives Brando some advice.
We also have Friday’s GH recap where Spencer had a nightmare and then wrote Trina a love letter while Sonny asked Nina what Ava confessed to her.
At General Hospital, Joss convinces Dex to climb into the dumpster with her to look for Avery’s bracelet. As they search through the trash, he tells her that he doesn’t get along with his siblings.
If he hadn’t left them behind, he never would have come in contact with people in Port Charles.
When her foot gets stuck, he tries to help and they fall into each other’s arms.
After they get up, she finds the bracelet. He’s impressed. She’ll have to clean the bracelet. She has to go home and change anyway.
Dex brought a change for himself and takes off his shirt. She wonders if he looks for excuses to do that.
TJ notices Brando has been sitting in a corner for an hour.
Brando explains Sasha is in trouble and he doesn’t know how or if he can help her. He worries he may have crossed a line with his wife. He feels helpless.
Brando unpacks everything that has been happening with his wife. She’s had a public psychic break more than once. That’s why Martin thinks she should agree to a guardianship.
He failed to include Sasha in the conversation and she snapped. That’s not a great surprise to TJ. Brando admits he was too ashamed of the idea to bring it up to Sasha himself.
The doctor points out he should be saying all this to his wife. He offers to drop him off at The Grill.
Sasha joins Lucy at The Grill. The model wonders what’s on the agenda. Lucy says they need to discuss her future with Deception.
Lucy explains that their business has take a big hit and they want her to take a step back until she is well. Sasha says she is well but offers to step back for the Fall and Winter campaigns.
“We’re going to need more than that,” Lucy says. Sasha snaps at her. Coe hates saying this but she’s putting the company in trouble. Sasha asks if she wants to push her out of the company in which she is an equity member.
Lucy says they want her to put her stake into a trust until she is deemed better. If she won’t do this, they’ll be forced to vote her out. When Coe tries to get her to calm down, Sasha leaps up and starts screaming.
Lucy reminds her that she loves her life a daughter but she won’t let her jeopardize what she’s built. Sasha accuses her of abandoning her like everyone else and tells her to go to hell.
People at a nearby table record all this on their phones. She grabs a phone and starts screaming at the guy before stomping on his phone.
When she’s asked to leave, she starts screaming again. Brando walks in. She falls into his arms, telling him she needs help.
By the pool, Sonny asks Nina what she was talking to Ava about. She tells him some things need to stay between friends.
He knows they are friends but she’s also Avery’s mother. If she’s in trouble, he wants to know.
She tells him Ava’s attacker is still on the loose. She also has a lot on her mind given what today is.
Before she can explain, Brook Lynn and Chase show up and announce they are now a couple. She thinks they should double date. Sonny guesses she needs a favor.
She admits it and explains she has decided to become a manager in the music industry. She’s down but not out and can help new talent. Brook Lynn was hoping he could help her get Chase some gigs.
Sonny reminds her the last time she came for a favor it was about getting revenge on Linc. Brook Lynn claims it can be a win-win. The mobster agrees.
Chase points out he is still hoping he can return to police work and being connected to Sonny is too risky. Nina has a potential solution and offers to put in a word with Curtis.
They thank them. After Sonny and Nina walk away, Chase tells Brook Lynn she went way too far tonight. It’s important that she doesn’t compromise his integrity. She gets it.

Kelly Thiebaud exits and the latest GH comings and goings
At The Savoy, Curtis gives instructions to the staff as Taggert and Portia arrive.
Trina and Rory come in, thanking him for closing the club just for them.
As Curtis bustles around, Taggert congratulates Portia on her engagement. Jordan pops up and adds her congratulations. She worries her presence might be a problem.
Portia assures her that’s not the case.
After she steps away, Taggert suggests it’s time they all leave the past in the past. Jordan flashes back to overhearing Portia making a call about genetic testing for Trina.
Cam arrives and gives Trina his congratulations. He says Joss will be there soon. As Trina and Rory kiss, Spencer sheepishly arrives, spots them, and keeps his distance.
Rory notices him and they all look over to the Cassadine. Spencer turns away and fumbles with the letter he wrote for Trina.
Trina decides to take a couple of moments alone with Spencer and crosses over to him. He wanted to congratulate her before he’s shipped off to Pentonville.
She tells him they aren’t friends. Things have changed since last year and she needs to move on. It’s impossible for her to heal if he’s part of her life. She won’t forget what he’s sacrificed for her but they need to move on.
They hug and she tells him she wants the best for him.
After she walks away, he takes out the letter. He sits a table and mopes. Cam joins him and his friend tells him that he tried to explain everything in the letter. Cam tells him that was one of his non-stupid ideas.
Cam doesn’t think he has a chance with Trina, but this is the best thing he could have done. Suppressing his feelings won’t help.
Marshall arrives and chats with Curtis.
Taggert and Jordan sit at the bar and talk about Trina and how she’s a “rescuer.” He wonders where she gets that from. She looks over at Curtis.
Marshall and Portia talk about his relationship with Epiphany. He tells her how supportive she’s been and he wonders how things could have been if he’s been honest about his disease when he was young.
Sonny and Nina arrive and congratulate Curtis. When she steps off to congratulate Portia, Sonny senses Curtis doesn’t want him there.
Curtis is still mad he didn’t dig into his father’s arrest record. Sonny tells him he has no idea what he’s done to protect his family.
Rory and Trina sit down after dancing. He invites her to the cop banquet next month. She’s ready to take the leap if he is. They kiss. Spencer watches and looks away.
When Rory steps away, Spencer rushes out, dropping the letter on the floor. She grabs it and asks what it is.
Joss arrives and Cam notices she’s changed her clothes. She tells him about the dumpster diving she did. He wishes she’d called him for help.
TJ joins his mom and tells her Stella will be back soon. They recall the ancestry website that said Stella was related to someone in Port Charles. That was just a glitch.
