General Hospital recap for Monday, July 11, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Britt accepts the match with Cody, Michael and Willow reveal the truth, and Valentin helps Nina come up with a plan.
We also have Friday’s GH recap where Gregory and Alexis made a wager, Britt was annoyed to be matched with Cody, and Valentin almost drugged Laura.
Dante wakes up poolside and apologizes to Sam. They talk about the kids sleeping over at the Qs. Dante’s glad to be able to focus on each other. Nearby, Spence and Esme hang around. She wants to go on the terrace but he thinks they’re pushing it being there at all since they’re banned. He wants to avoid another confrontation. She kisses him.
Inside, Trina’s glad that court is finally happening, though she’s scared. Joss comforts her. They’re victims and she’ll be testifying on her behalf. Trina would give anything to forget about the trial for a bit. Rory strolls up and says he can help. He takes her to the park and vows to distract her. Later, Cody and Dante talk about their childhood once again. Sam interrupts.
Valentin visits Nina at the office. She heard he was finally in control of ELQ. She’s glad. She talks about Sonny coming to her rescue and how his guilt makes him feel responsible for her financial misfortune. Valentin scoffs. It’s not his problem she rolled the dice and lost. They talk about Wiley and her own transgressions.
She wonders how he’ll feel about her when he learns what she did. She’s tired of being the villain. He suggests she change it.
They discuss his daughter and how he’ll ensure she’s happy no matter the cost. He tells her that if Victor approaches her she should stay away from him.

All the latest GH comings and goings
In Carly’s office, she meets with a banker, hopeful to secure a loan to buy Metro Court. Olivia interrupts to ask if she’s out of her mind.
The dude goes to check on her getting the loan while Olivia says she doesn’t want her friend to make another mistake. Carly knows. She again insists she can buy her half of the company and hold it for her until she can pay them back.
At the park, Finn and Maxie hang out with Britt, picnicking, while nearby, Michael and Willow discuss where to sit. They see Sonny who smiles at them, and Willow drags him over. He’s glad she’s up and about. She explains that she’s fine and thanks him for helping her when she fainted. He calls her family and Michael says it’s time to go.
Nearby, Britt is ready to go since they’re “making goo goo eyes at each other.” Spinelli appears, dragging a hamper.
Austin makes a call, and tells the person on the other end that he told him that night, he was only in town for a camping trip. He’s not in Pawtucket anymore and to stop calling.
Once alone, Spin and Maxie discuss Britt running off. He thinks she’s better off alone, than with the wrong person.
When Austin returns, Spin takes off. Later, Trina and Rory arrive. She tries his brownie, though she’s not sure she’ll like it. She loves it. He assumes this means she’s been disappointed a lot and vows not to disappoint her. She talks about the past celebrations and they get closer and hold hands.
Back at the pool, Sonny walks up on Esme and Spencer kissing. She jumps when she sees him and pretends she’s afraid of him kidnapping her again.
Spence stands up for her and Sonny says he’s not going to do that. He asks for time with his nephew.
They agree to meet at the park. When she’s gone, Sonny asks what the hell has happened to him. He yells at his nephew to tell him.
Spence swears on his mother’s memory that he’s doing the right thing. He loves Sonny and wouldn’t do a thing to hurt or disappoint him. Sonny backs down. Nearby, Cody talks about how wonderful Comet the horse is who never startles. He thinks the horse likes Leo. Unless someone holds the leading rein, the horse isn’t going anywhere.
They realize he smells like horse. He insists he showered before he came and then sniffs himself. “Oh God, I’m sorry!” They laugh.
Britt arrives and Cody approaches. She doesn’t need this right now. He wishes her a Happy Fourth of July.
he tells him to go but he asks why he’d do that when he met his match. She thinks he’s handsome but not her type. He finds her attractive but thinks she could get men faster if she didn’t approach everything like it was a prize fight. She agrees to one date. He’s looking forward to it.
Elsewhere, Sam’s tired of hearing his past with Cody and wants to watch fireworks from her bedroom. They rush off.
Michael and Willow arrive at Carly’s office and Olivia accidentally lets it slip about his mother losing Metro Court. Olivia apologizes and takes off while Willow tells Carly she feels great. Carly thinks she’s holding something back but Michael thinks she’s keeping something from him.
She reveals Metro Court is already gone. Michael’s pissed. What will she use as collateral. The house?
He wants to buy it for her and sign it over to her. She refuses. They share a look and Carly worries. Willow says they hadn’t planned on saying anything so early.
They tell her Willow’s pregnant and she makes an O with her mouth and hyperventilates as she hugs them, happily.
Joss shows up and they tell her the good news. She gasps and hugs her brother while the banker returns. Carly sends them away and the guy tells her something off screen. She refuses and says she is no longer co-owner of Metro Court.
Olivia arrives at the pool and shares with Dante and Sam that Carly lost her half of the hotel.
In her bed at home, Sam and Dante lie in each other’s arms, clothed. He tells her another Cody camp story. Fireworks begin.
Everyone watches the fireworks from wherever they are, except Esme, who can’t find Spencer and texts him to ask where he’s gone. Meanwhile, Rory and Trina make out. Spence finds them and runs off.
Cody finds Spin at the pool and laughs and nudges him about being the one behind Madam Zelda and owning Society Setup. Spin’s not interested in talking with him and says fine — he helped engineer his date with Britt, but he’s not interested in drinking with him. He takes off in a huff and nearby, Britt accepts the match setup with Cody.
Nina drops by Carly’s work and Carly immediately kicks her out.
