General Hospital recap for Friday, February 25, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Harmony lies to Willow, Shawn asks Alexis about their future, and Liz fills Finn in on what’s been happening.
We also have Thursday’s GH recap where Maxie took her baby home and Sonny kissed Nina.
Sam finds Dante at General Hospital. She rushed over worrying he was a patient after she heard he was there. He was just getting checked over for a bump on his head but he’s fine.
They kiss. Peter is dead and there are some people he needs to tell. They make arrangements to meet later and he wanders off, leaving her smiling.
Finn startles Liz as she thinks about all the strange things that have been happening. She was about to throw away the letter that Betsy sent her, but she doesn’t think it will put an end to things. “Something big is going on,” she says.
Sam interrupts before the nurse can explain. She asks if they’ve spoken to Anna and then recaps what happened with Peter. They all know Peter has frequently managed to come back, but Sam is sure he is really dead this time. There’s even been an autopsy.
Liz doesn’t know how to respond. Peter was responsible for so much loss and it feels like there should be more to this. She doesn’t have any closure. Sam tells her they have had their lives turned upside-down over the past year and promises to always have her back.
Finn tells Liz he knows how hard it is to move on from losing a spouse. He wonders if there is a way for her to get past the trauma of Franco’s death and hold on to the good memories too.
Sitting down, she admits she hasn’t told him everything that’s been happening, like the dress that was shredded. There’s a strange pattern. It’s like someone is doing these things deliberately. She’s sure the kids aren’t acting out. He has to check on a patient but tells her it will be okay.
Once she’s alone, Liz calls Betsy and asks if she can come to town so they can talk.
Drew drops by Carly’s office. She gives him a hug and he tells her all the news. Peter is dead and the nightmare is over. Carly is happy August is dead but wishes Jason was here to see it. “My brother and your…?” he trails off.
She says Jason was her person and she loved him. Drew says that Jason set things in motion that resulted in Peter’s death and that makes him a hero. Carly still needs him.
He guesses things haven’t gotten any better with Sonny. She admits that catching him with Nina made her want to run to Jason. Drew has the same touch as his brother.
He was worried he made things worse considering they almost kissed.
“You made the right call, stepping back that night,” Drew says, not wanting to jeopardize their friendship. That night, they both thought they would spend the rest of their lives with other people.
She shows him the divorce papers and then retreads all the secrets her husband was keeping from her. He can’t argue with her reasoning.
Suddenly, she wonders if Sonny knows Peter is dead. She thinks she should be the one to tell him Jason’s death was avenged. Drew offers to go with her or break the news himself.
At his penthouse, Sonny tells Nina he would have called her sober. She thinks his divorce is at least partially because of his drinking. Taking her hand, he pulls her close and then kisses her. He tries to lead her to the bedroom but she says that would be a huge mistake.
Sonny says they’ve already crossed the line. She doesn’t want him downplaying her concerns about his drinking and meds. They can’t use sex as a distraction.
It would be as wrong as it was last time. He reminds her he wasn’t drinking when they had sex on the Haunted Star. He’s insistent that booze had nothing to do with what happened between them.
They are drawn to each other. The timing of what happened on the Haunted Star was wrong. But he fell in love with her in Nixon Falls and those feelings haven’t disappeared. Now they can unpack what they mean to each other without any deception.
Nina says she was drowning in guilt then and it was wrong of her to fall in love with him when he didn’t know who he was. It would also be wrong to be involved with him while he’s so vulnerable.
When she leaves to freshen up, his bodyguard shows Dante in. He informs his father that Peter is dead. Sonny decides to call in on Anna.
Nina hides around the corner as Dante tries to get his father to open up about what’s happening in his life. “I’m fine!” Sonny snaps. His son wonders why he’s trying to get rid of him.
Sonny apologizes for snapping and admits he drank a lot after hammering out the divorce. He offers to talk some other time. Dante’s sorry to hear about the divorce and leaves, promising to check in on him later.
Nina comes out and thanks Sonny for not telling his son she was there. But she wonders why. It seems like proof that their kiss was a mistake. She turns the topic to Peter’s death.
He says an ending is usually followed by a new beginning. Nina decides it’s time to go. She hopes he has a clear mind when he decides what’s next for his life.
As Nina goes to the door, Carly and Drew arrive.

Alexis calls Harmony and reminds her that she has a big day today. She has to tell Willow the truth about her parentage. Shawn shows up in Alexis’ office, sighing after hearing she was talking to Harmony. She asks if he has a problem with that.
Shawn wants to give her friend the benefit of a doubt, or at least believe that Alexis believes she’s changed. He has news that will affect the future of the company. Their circulation has increased and he’s thinking of expanding by buying some smaller papers. He’d have to move to San Francisco to run the office.
One day he may be able to split his time between there and Port Charles. She’s happy for him but will miss him. It’s been nice to have him living with her. It’s almost been like what their relationship could have been if they’d stayed together years ago. Shawn is looking for a reason to stay.
Alexis reminds him of TJ and Molly. He points out they are adults. He’s more concerned about whether there is something bubbling up between he and Alexis again.
When Neil died, part of her shut down and she’s not sure how to turn it on again. As they inch closer, Sam interrupts and he hurries out.
Sam tells Alexis that she has some closure thanks to Peter’s death. She starts poking her about Shawn. Alexis insists they are only good friends and it would be inappropriate for there to be more since he’s her boss.
Her daughter admires how much she’s moved on since Neil died. She wishes she would let Shawn be her confidant rather than Harmony. Alexis insists that Harmony has changed.
In the foyer of the Quartermaine mansion, Willow and Michael tell Monica that the State Department has no record of her existence so she can’t get her birth certificate. That means she can’t get a passport. Monica thinks this is ridiculous.
Harmony arrives and Willow hopes she’ll have all the information she needs to sort this out. They head to the living room. Monica asks Michael if Harmony can solve this problem. He’s skeptical.
In the living room, Harmony tells Willow that she’s been able to find her birth certificate. She had to call in some favors but it’s being sent to her. Willow hugs her and Harmony looks worried. She tells her mom that she’s always been a seeker and that has resulted in some difficulties, but they can look forward to the future together.
They return to the foyer and announce the birth certificate is on the way. Dante arrives as Harmony exits. The cop informs them that Peter is dead. Michael pours them all a drink. They toast to Jason and moving on.
Harmony corners some dude at Kelly’s. She’s heard he forges documents and asks if he can do a birth certificate. Once they exchange money, she stands up and turns around, only to find Shawn standing there.
