General Hospital recap for Friday, March 18, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Carly and Drew reminisce about Jason, a reporter asks Michael about Joss’s sex scandal and Willow wonders who should look after Wiley while she and Michael are in Paris.
We also have Wednesday’s GH recap where Victor thought he activated Drew, and Nina saw the bad side of Sonny.
Harmony (played by Priscilla Garita) finds Nina at Charlie’s Place. She wanted to meet because of their grandson. She wants his parents to put them first and give them “what’s rightfully ours.”
She tells her that legally, in their state, grandmothers have rights to their grand kids. She knows a long contentions legal battle isn’t in anyone’s good interest. They could present a united front.
She has Sonny in her corner and Harmony has Willow. Harmony likes the idea. A woman walks up and says, “Lorraine Miller, as I live and breathe.”
Michael finds Willow at General Hospital. She worries she’s late for date night. She’s exhausted. She may have to up her concealer game. He talks about getting her home to pack for Paris.
He tells her that Monica agreed to care for Wiley but Willow says she’ll be busy planning the memorial for Jason. She brings up her mom or Nina. Both would like to take care of him. She admits her mom is her first choice since she’s tried to make up for her mistakes. Michael finds it hard to leave what she did in the past.
Nearby, Mr. Smoltz, a reporter, turns up and tells Jordan that there’s a viral sex tape of Joss and Cam going around. He asks if she thinks it’s a prank or something more criminal.
TJ turns up and intervenes. The reporter takes off since nobody’s forthcoming. He comes across Willow and Michael and grins to himself. “Paydirt.”
He eavesdrops and then asks if they’ve comment about latest scandal. He has no comment until Smoltz asks if that includes what happened to his sister, Josslyn. Michael has no idea what he’s on about so Smalls details it and how Joss was “a great athlete” and gets a punch in the face for his efforts.
TJ and Jordan appear and see the whole thing. Michael says that whoever did this to his sister will pay, a quote that Smoltz gets on tape. Michael’s hauled away by Jordan.
At Spring Ridge, Esme asks if Trina’s out of Spencer’s life. He wonders if that’d finally make her happy. She denies that, but considers the pain she inflicted on him and his friends. This may be a good thing.
He asks her if she was the culprit behind the sex tape. She deflects. She wasn’t even there. He reminds her that they torched Ava’s car without being there. Again, he asks if she did it. She snaps that his friends set out to turn him against her and they succeeded. “They didn’t have to. Not if you did it for them,” he yells.
She can’t believe their history isn’t enough for him to trust her. She reminds him of boarding school and how she came along and was the only one there for him. She saw the real him, not his trust fund.
She fell for him knowing one day “you’d be a man.” Maybe she was fooling herself this entire time. He yells at her that everyone is blaming her and she’s the only one blaming Trina.
What’s he supposed to believe? “Me,” she tells him. Because that’s what love is. Either he can or he can’t. He reminds her he’s always put her above everyone else. She opens the book to Trina and isn’t happy he wrote an inscription. “To Trina and our shared passion. Spencer.” She starts bellowing and asks if he’d have kissed Trina to demonstrate all that shared passion.
He was talking about their passion for art history. He thinks she’s overreacting. If he wants boring and basic, she tells him, “Have at it, Spence.”
Dante and Sam talk about finding another way to figure out what Victor’s up to. She thinks Spinelli could help but knows she’s not allowed to ask, though she thinks it’s the right thing to do.
She accuses his ego of not being able to take it and he grimaces. She’s right. Sam grins. She thinks he’s doing a great job. They kiss and flirt a little about him having mad skills. She invites him back to her place and he shows her a preview of what’s to come. They kiss a little.
At the bridge, Drew asks why she stormed up and confronted Victor. She worried he was there to pitch the guy over the river. She didn’t start recording right away because she didn’t want the cops to see that part.
She couldn’t imagine the trial and his defence. He’s surprised she’d come to his trial. They grin at one another.
She says she’d call Diane next. He asks what she would have done if he really was activated and threw her over the bridge. She doesn’t believe he woudl but he tells her he’d do anything they asked and wouldn’t remember it.
They both find that thought terrifying. They discuss how the conditioning works and the sequencing. The Chariot Card puts him under. She jokes around that this could come in handy when Nina’s really annoying her.
She reminisces about Jason being the ultimate proponent for free will. She tears up and wants to scream at the universe but she knows her friend chose to go to the island. She tells Drew about Monica declaring Jason dead.
They agree Jason wouldn’t want a memorial. She asks him to stop her if she tries to get up and say something. He offers to drive her back to the Metro but she’s not there anymore. She’s going to have Spin come and put up a security system.
He reminds her he’s ex-Navy Seal and he’ll come over to do it. She agrees to that and they share a moment before he goes.

The latest GH casting news – Trina recast
In her office, Alexis and Shawn talk about what Harmony did for Willow. He wonders if she did this for herself. Not for her daughter. They talk about his job on the coast.
He wants to talk about them but she’s not sure there is an ‘us’. She’s grateful to him for her job. He wasn’t asking about that. He wants to know if she will give them another shot. She says no. They had their chance. She wishes him luck and hugs him. He tells her to take care before he goes.
Back at GH, Willow can barely breathe as she calls Carly. When Carly picks up, Willow passes out, leaving Carly to call her name.
