General Hospital recap for Thursday, May 19, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Marshall and TJ face some thugs, Sonny offers to support Nina at the hearing, and Portia, Epiphany, and Stella have a ladies night.
We also have Wednesday’s GH recap where Gladys confronted Sasha about her drug problem and demanded to move in.
Carly drops by General Hospital to pick up her test results. Bobbie pops up and asks what test she took. Her daughter claims she’s just had some precautionary tests run.
They chat about the article published about Nina. Carly hopes that it helps Michael and Willow at the hearing. Anything that keeps Nina from Wiley is a good thing.
Bobbie worries the article could have unintended consequences. Sonny can’t resist a damsel in distress and she can see where this is heading.
Carly claims not to care. The Sonny ship has sailed. Bobbie doesn’t believe it has even left the dock. She’s not urging a reunion, just being realistic.
Her daughter claims she tried hard to save her marriage, but there was nothing left to save. She won’t tie herself up in knots while he is smitten with Nina.
She’s a “bottomless pit of need” and Carly wants to keep her out of Wiley’s life. She will never be over what Nina did and she’s sure that any judge who reads the article about her, will deny her visitation.
Bobbie wonders what she will do if that doesn’t happen. Carly says she will do what she needs to do to protect her family. She doesn’t want to discuss this anymore and leads her mom away.
Stella stops by to see Portia and Epiphany. They chat about her panic attack and Portia says she seems like her old self again. Stella is surprised when the doctor says Curtis told her everything.
Portia assures her that Curtis understand why she did what she did. They start chatting with Epiphany about her plans to become a doctor. Stella commends her on dreaming big.
Portia realizes they are all off the clock and suggests they go out on the town. Epiphany needs a night off from studying so Portia suggests they head to The Savoy and drink for free.

In Brooklyn, TJ and Molly are surprised when Marshall shows up at the restaurant. TJ sense he’s sorry they’re there. His grandfather isn’t, but he’s impressed they tracked him down so easily.
When Molly offers to call Curtis, Marshall says no. He’s not going home to talk this out either. Molly tells Marshall how important he is to his grandson and leaves them alone.
Marshall appreciates TJ coming but too much damage has been done. He leaves destruction everywhere he goes and is better off alone. TJ doesn’t know how he can believe that when he never sticks around anywhere long.
TJ begs him not to walk out on the family again and tells him how much they need him. He insists he come with him to the club to meet Molly.
TJ and Marshall head to the club. He wants to go in the backdoor. Two thugs show up and demand their wallets and phones. They give those up but TJ refuses to give up the clarinet.
The thugs whip out a blade.
Nina drops by The Savoy and orders a martini. Some dude shows up and recognizes her, asking if she’s the new boss lady. Sonny appears behind him and says if he has a problem with the lady, he has a problem with him.
The dude apologizes and runs away. She thanks Sonny but reminds him that she can take care of herself. She’s impressed when he orders a club soda. He brings up The Invader article, but she doesn’t want to talk about that or the hearing.
They discuss the part with the Quartermaines and how Dante kept the peace between him and Michael. He admits thinks won’t be okay with Michael for a long time.
He explains that he loves his son, but he’s threatening to tear down what he has spent his lifetime building up.
When Portia, Epiphany, and Stella arrive at The Savoy, they spot Sonny and Nina. She encourages them not to believe what they read in the papers about her.
Nina tells Sonny that he’s doing the right thing with Michael. He’s glad someone believes in him. He’s attending the hearing tomorrow… to support her. She worries about what that could cost him.
Sonny assures her that he only wants to tell his side of the story in his words. They spot Carly and Bobbie as they walk in.
When the three ladies get a table, the doctor tells them all the latest about Trina. Sonny sends drinks to their table. Portia stops herself from worrying about her daughter so they can toast to Epiphany nailing her MCATS.
Stella asks Epiphany who gave her the courage to pursue her dream. She’s surprised to hear it was Marshall. The nurse explains they had something going on and then he disappeared.
Her friends explain that his family is looking for him. Stella hopes he takes his second chance and makes things right. Epiphany assures them she is not waiting for Prince Charming.
Finn stops by Laura’s penthouse to check on Liz. He’s relieved to hear she hasn’t been talking about ghosts. Kevin warns him not to assume that Liz doesn’t believe that Franco’s ghost has been communicating with her.
Finn finds this hard to understand. Liz pops up to say she trusts the dead more than the living right now. She accuses them of thinking she’s crazy. Finn insists no one thinks that.
Laura assures her no one thinks she’s a fool for believing someone she loves is still part of her. Kevin says it’s only natural to believe there is something beyond.
Finn reminds her she has friend and family who she can trust.
A vase falls off the bookshelf. Liz assumes that was Franco’s ghost. Kevin tries offering another explanation but she wants to call Chelsea the medium.
Before she can make the call, Finn tells her he will always be on her side… but he doesn’t think Chelsea is contacting anyone’s spirit. Laura encourages her to listen to him.
Liz asks Finn to leave. He thinks someone is trying to keep them apart and break down the foundation of the life they were trying to build. She doesn’t want to hear it. He walks out.
She paces and tries calling Chelsea but only gets voicemail. Laura suggests they all go to sleep. After Liz heads upstairs, Laura wishes she could find the right words to help her.
As Kevin cleans up, he discovers the front door is open and Laura notices that Liz is not in her room. This is not like Liz. Where would she be going at this hour.
Liz returns to her house. She finds a drawing of the family on her drafting board and rips it up.
Gregory and Violet hang out at Kelly’s as she draws. He tells her how much he misses being young. She explains her picture to him.
Finn joins them and his daughter shows him her pictures. As she orders a sundae, Finn admits to his father that he’s losing Liz.
He puts headphones on Violet and tells his father about the medium Liz has been seeing. He’s sure that someone alive is manipulating her and nothing he says is getting through to her.
Violet takes off her headphones and points out that Liz was always there when something strange happened.
