SoapsSpoilers’ General Hospital recap for the Tuesday, February 1, 2022 episode. Today, Kristina and Alexis discuss Harmony, Britt gives Austin advice about Maxie, and Ned and Olivia renew their vows. We also have Monday’s GH recap where Sonny was determined to make a grand gesture, Esme played victim, and Stella confronted Marshall.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy tells everyone she didn’t try to pawn off a fake diamond. Ned calls her lawyer and Tracy realizes she knows the FBI agent. Dave. Dave the Dumpster-diver is what Luke called him. Ned asks if he’s targeting his mom.
Dave’s doing his job but she reminds him they detained her for 12 hours without just cause. Dave doesn’t care. He doesn’t answer to any of them. She’s in their custody. Drew stands up and intervenes and Dave recognizes his name from ISA. Michael puts his two cents in and then Drew asks him to call Anna Devane.
Down the hall at the Q mansion, Maxie says that the kiss meant that her connection with Austin is real. They tell each other they’re happy they kissed but Maxie says it can’t happen again. She likes him but until she has her kid back, she can’t focus on anything else.
She apologizes. They talk about how they met. He asks if they met in a box store if she’d still have friend-zoned him. She clarifies that she isn’t friend-zoning him. He can move on if he’d like. He has no plans to move on.
In her office, Alexis asks Harmony if Willow’s in trouble. Since she’s not, Alexis says she thinks Kristina’s on board with them being friends. Harmony’s not so sure she’ll feel that way once she hears what she has to say. They discuss her feelings for Cam in the past and that she told her how to prioritize her friendship with Joss. Ava asks if it worked.
Trina says she told them she was over him and moved on. She says that Willow doesn’t have a birth certificate. The one she had wasn’t official. Alexis is confused. Harmony confesses the commune she lived on didn’t adhere to society norms so she forged Willow’s birth certificate.
She explains that they thought it attracted scrutiny. She doesn’t want to be the reason why her kid can’t leave the country. Alexis reminds her she’s not a lawyer. Harmony knows but she trusts her to help her.
At the gallery, Trina complains to Ava that their trip got cut short. Ava asks if they weren’t having fun. Trina’s not sure it could have gone worse. She confesses she had a drink and passed out. Ava wonders why Esme is always around when there’s trouble.
He hopes Trina’s okay. Esme assumes she’ll be fine and gets passive aggressive, thinking he should be more worried about her. She gets another call from Spencer and ignores it until Ava reminds her today’s prison day. Trina freaks out and realizes she needs to be there for him.

At Kelly’s, Spencer and Esme arrive and Spencer gets his last check before prison. Kevin’s sure his friends will stop by to wish him well. Spencer doubts it. Outside, Anna’s call to Valentin, asking for an update about Louise is interrupted by Victor.
They agree they hope Peter’s incarcerated for a long time. He asks her for coffee and she refuses. She knows enough about him. They talk about Valentin and he can tell she’s worried about his son. She didn’t say that. “You didn’t have to,” he says, knowingly.
Anna takes a call from Dave at the FBI. She tells Victor she has to leave. Inside, Kevin takes off and Spencer tells Esme he’s grateful for his uncle and her.
She wishes he could add his friends to that list. Outside, Kevin has a run-in with Victor. Victor heads in and eavesdrops on Esme and Spencer. Spencer takes off and Victor offers to help her if she’s ever in need. He knows what it means not to be welcomed. He assures that she’ll be fine on her own.
He got an earful from “our good Dr. Collins,” he says. Outside, Spencer apologizes to Kevin for inviting his great uncle. Kevin says it’s fine.
At home, Sonny doesn’t get what’s making Carly so worked up. She explains that she asked him for time and space and instead, he cooked up something major. He should know her better than that. She appreciates him trying but it is not what she needs.
“Tell me what you need?” He asks. She barks that she has. He needs to know what to do to get her to return home. Sonny argues that time away from him means time away from their kids.
She hates that but he broke her heart and humiliated her. He’s confused. “By what?” By the multiple people who knew about Nina, she tells him. She felt stupid. He wanted to tell her. She reminds him he didn’t. He asks for forgiveness.
He asks if she loves him. She does but she just wishes this never happened. He can’t turn back time but he would if he could. He’d rather erase it. She asks if he really would. If it meant they’d be together and happy, he says he would. She’s not sure it sounded convincing. Sonny says he has props arriving.
He’s recreating their wedding. She’s shocked. She tears up and tells him that as far as grand gestures go, “It’s pretty perfect.” He smiles and nods. He asks tonight to be their first step in reconciliation. She knows it’d be romantic but what about tomorrow or the next week.
Reliving Martinique isn’t going to change what’s going on now. It’s not working for either of them. Sonny worries she’ll never be ready.
At the Q mansion, Anna appears and Tracy tells her what’s going on with the arrest. Anna goes to talk to Dave while Ned thanks Drew for sticking his neck out for Tracy. “We’re family,” Drew states. Anna returns later and tells Tracy that they buyer had the Ice Princess appraised and it’s worthless.
Tracy used an intermediary who has done deals for Luke in the past. Anna needs a name and to be walked through everything. Anna calls an arrest aggressive. She’ll have them void the warrant.
On the way out, Laura asks Ned if he recalls anyone threatening his mother over the Ice Princess. He doesn’t think so. She congratulates him on his vow renewal. Anna gives Maxie a call to meet and learns she’s down the hall.
She goes in the library and asks Maxie if she’s seen Valentin and shares the troubling call she got from him. Maxie hasn’t. Anna assumes Valentin got too close to the truth. While they chat, Austin remembers many conversations about Louise and Bailey and looks as though he realizes they’re both one in the same — Maxie’s daughter.
In the other room, Tracy says goodbye. She hugs Ned. They say I love yous and she takes off.
Laura finds Kevin outside Kelly’s and fills him in on the Ice Princess being a fake. He doesn’t know if she’s joking. She wishes she was. Kevin explains that Spencer took off but that he’ll return.
Spencer arrives at the gallery to see Trina just as Ava is telling her in a round about way that she’s lying about her feelings for him.
