General Hospital recap for Friday, January 27, 2023. In today’s GH episode, Martin and Lucy reunite, Nina doesn’t think she can survive losing Willow, and Carly and Drew wake up together.
We also have Thursday’s GH recap where Nina wasn’t a match for Willow, Drew and Carly had sex, and Trina admitted her feelings to Spencer.
Carly rolls over in her bed and finds Drew smiling at her. He tells her her nose wrinkles when she sleeps. They giggle and make out.
He tells her how incredible it is to be alone with her. She jokes it was easy to pretend they were just friends.
She thanks him for sticking by her when he had every reason to bail. The only regret he has is that they can’t go public because of the insider trading issue.
They love waking up together.
She doesn’t want to go back to the real world where Willow might die. She remembers she was supposed to bring Wiley to see his mom.
Sonny calls and informs her that Nina is not a match for the bone marrow donation.
At the Metro Court, Victor is on the phone trying to get an update on what’s happening in Paris. Anna, Valentin, and Lucy haven’t been found.
He bumps into Alexis, who starts quizzing him about Nikolas. She guesses things are tense at Wyndemere. He explains that Ava has Spoon Island now.
Laura shows up and tells Victor he’s gone too far this time.
“Valentin is dead!” she announces.
She explains that a portion of the Paris catacombs collapsed and bodies were found. One was identified as Valentin.
Victor gasps. Laura worries about how devastated Charlotte will be. She starts lecturing him and he leaves to make some calls.
Victor calls his people in France and demands some answers.
Laura and Alexis get a table and congratulate themselves on shaking Victor up.
Alexis admits she was starting to lose hope but th mayor assures her everyone is safe and thanks her for her help. Alexis assures her that her paper will keep up the ruse that Valentin is dead.
After the mayor takes off, Alexis tracks down Victor and pays her condolences. He refuses to accept his son is dead.
Martin gets on the elevator. He thinks about Lucy and looks at a picture of her on his phone. When the door opens, he spots someone and says they have been dodging his calls.
Robert and Felicia blindfold him and take him to a cabin.
Anna is there. Lucy runs out and leaps into Martin’s arms. As they kiss, Valentin comes out.
Robert tells the reunited lovers to get a room. They rush out back.
Felicia thinks everything is over. Robert points out it isn’t. Anna says they still need to deal with Victor thinking he’s dead.
Felicia reminds Valentin that could upset more people than his father. He explains there is a plan in place and Laura will speak to Charlotte.
They talk about how their plan is all coming together. Soon, Victor will pay for what he did to Luke.
Felicia tells Valentin that she will give him the benefit of a doubt as long as Anna trusts him.
Laura calls to say Victor bought the story. They assume they can exploit his guilt and force him to slip up.
Martin and Lucy make out in the bedroom. She swears she’s okay and takes off his jacket.
He keeps asking her about being held prisoner. Lucy says they treated her okay aside from the chains and having to swim in the “icky” catacombs.
That’s all the past and now she’s safe. He says watching her get shot was one of the worst moments in his life.
She’s sorry he had to go through all that. This doesn’t feel real to him.
She has an idea to convince him of how real this is. They fall into bed.
Leaping up, she says that her life flashed before her eyes when she was facing death. He knows she’s lived a heck of a life.
Her last conscious thought was how much she wanted to live because of him. She’d like it if he was by her side.
Kissing her, he thanks her for coming back to him. She would never let Victor get the better of her.

At Nina’s, Ava reads her divorce settlement as Nina gets ready for Britt’s memorial. Her friend asks how she’s handling the Willow situation.
Nina is still fuming about Carly keeping her parentage a secret. She’s sure that “Saint Carly” will be forgiven by everyone else, but she’s determined to make her pay.
As Nina rails, her friend tells her that Carly is not what’s important now. She’s sure it’s easier to be angry than face the possibility of losing another daughter.
“I can’t save her,” Nina says. She’s filled with regrets.
Ava tells her to have hope.
Nina sobs that Willow wants nothing to do with her. Ava has been there and knows it hurts.
“I won’t survive losing her,” she says. Ava holds her and says that she still has the chance to reconcile with her daughter as long as she’s alive.
Nina says they never got along because they are so much alike. They pinky swear not to give up.
At General Hospital, Michael holds Willow’s hand. Terry comes in to check on them.
Willow wants to discuss treatment. The doctor explains that they can get stem cells from the umbilical cord and placenta for her.
Willow refuses to risk any harm to the baby.
Terry says that the risks are minimal. This is their best option.
Carly pops up with Wiley and Terry takes off. Wiley leaps onto Willow and then tells her about bagels before asking when she’s coming home.
He gives her a card he made and she tells him it’s amazing.
Michael and Carly leave them alone.
She tells him it meant the world to her that he asked her to bring Wiley. He says they are okay now and then explains there may still be a way to save Willow.
He’s afraid Willow might refuse to go ahead with it.
They return and Willow tells them it’s time to have the baby. Michael is thrilled.
Carly wanders the halls, bumping into Drew and telling him she thinks Willow will be okay.
As they hug, Nina spots them and then hides.
Alone, Michael asks Willow if she’s really willing to go through with this. Neither of them can wait to meet their daughter.
