General Hospital recap for Wednesday, April 12, 2023. In today’s GH episode, Cody asks Sam for help, people notice Trina is missing, and Laura thinks the answer may be in the past.
We also have Tuesday’s GH recap where Sonny learned where Victor was, Obrecht told Victor that he will fail, and Willow was crushed and assumed she’s doomed.
At the PCPD, Dante and Jordan try to figure out how the Haunted Star could go missing.
Gladys shows up and declares she’s there to make her statement about the bracelet being stolen. Dante wanders off.
He heads into the interrogation room and asks Cody if he’s ever planning to go home.
Dante doesn’t have time to help him and suggests he call Mac.
Cody has already called for help. Sam arrives. He called her. She assures Dante she’s got this and tells him to go find the hostages.
After he takes off, Cody asks Sam to bail him out. He’s been framed. She’s heard that before but he’s adamant.
He explains that Gladys set him up because he was going to warn Sasha about her. Sasha needs to be careful about whose hands she’s putting her life in.
Sam tells him to give her a name so his friends can help him. He’s reluctant and explains that things could blow back on Sasha.
Cody insists he can help her if he gets out. He swears he’s not a flight risk and reminds her Dante trusts him.
Meanwhile, Jordan tells Gladys someone will take a statement but they are busy. Gladys is eager to make her statement while the details are fresh.
A cop sits with her and starts writing.
When Cody is brought out, Gladys gets in his face but Sam says he’ll be out on bail. Gladys can’t believe she swallowed his story.
Carly stops by Joss’ dorm room. She informs her that Willow won’t be having the transplant.
Carly fills her in on Obrecht going missing. Joss tells her that Sonny knows all about her and Dex. He’s known for months.
If Dex hadn’t saved Sonny’s life, who know how he would have reacted… Carly isn’t thrilled to hear that shooting has been going on.
Joss will be thrilled when this is over but she’s more worried about Obrecht right now.
Her mom warns they need to prepare themselves. Joss says this is like Oscar all over again.
Before they can leave for Michael’s, Dante shows up. He’s looking for Trina to get a timeline on Spencer. Joss hasn’t seen her since the Ball.
They realize no one has seen her since then. He tries calling her but it only goes to voicemail. Joss asks if Victor could have Trina too.
Once he leaves, he calls Jordan and they arrange to meet at the hospital.
Sasha drops by the gatehouse to see Brook Lynn, Michael, and Willow. They fuss over the baby. Michael and Willow put on a brave face and try to be optimistic about things working out.
Michael leaves to make some calls. The women encourage Willow to vent.
Tait says Michael is trying to be hopeful, but the fact is the cops might not be able to find Obrecht in time to save her.
Willow is holding onto Hope but doesn’t want that to get in the way of her potential last moments. They promise to make sure the kids remember her as she was.
Willow says they can’t wait until after the transplant for the wedding.
BLQ and Sasha offer to sort out the wedding but she hasn’t even talked to Michael about it yet. She worries he may think it means she’s given up hope.
Brook Lynn tells her that Michael loves her and can survive anything. He’ll be able to juggle recognizing she might not have long and maximizing her final days.

At General Hospital, Laura and the others anxiously wait for news. Valentin spots Portia and demands to know why they’ve only received silence.
Portia won’t explain anything. He demands answers. Curtis interrupts and warns him off of speaking to his wife like that.
That makes Portia smile and she putters off. She comes back to explain that Anna is just out of surgery and they can see her in the ICU.
Valentin marches off and Curtis steps aside to ask his wife if she’s heard from Trina lately. The doctor hasn’t.
She tries calling her daughter but only gets voicemail. Curtis calls the university and she notices that her texts aren’t being delivered.
Dante and Jordan arrive. Portia immediately guesses something has happened to her daughter.
Valentin looks in at Anna. The nurse tells him she lost a lot of blood and coded again during surgery. There’s no way to predict when she will wake up.
Entering Anna’s room, he tells her she’s a fighter and she can do this. Holding her hand, he begs her to come back to him.
He explains that he’s been making a lot of promises in his head. He promises his father will pay for this.
Valentin begs her to wake up and sobs. Her eyelids flutter.
Laura and Felicia walk the halls, feeling uneasy. Laura admits it all feels familiar. She flashes back to being trapped on a boat with the Cassadines.
“Is history repeating itself with my grandsons?” she wonders. It seems like the answer to all of this is in the past.
Felicia says that Victor has all he wanted, so where would he go? They mull that over. There are Cassadine hideouts in Panama and Venezuela.
Felicia thinks that could be it.
Felicia claims she knows exactly who can get them into Venezuela.
On the Haunted Star, Trina sneaks into Spencer’s room and tells him she thinks she’s found a way off the ship.
She’s sure there must be a radio in the communications room and they can call for help. That’s their only option.
As they plan, they hear Victor and his goons in the hall.
When they enter, Trina is hiding under the bed and Spence is in a towel.
Spencer gets dressed and argues with his uncle about being kidnapped. When he gets snippy, Victor warns that he better not force him to teach him a hard lesson.
Spencer and Trina notice that her bag is on the floor so they try to keep Victor away from it. Getting in his uncle’s face, Spencer asks if he’s afraid of what he might do.
He demands to be let out for breakfast and to see his brother.
His uncle will allow it and exits, bolting the door on the way.
Spencer tells Trina his uncle just made a terrible mistake. They plot and he assures her this will be epic.
Holding her hand, he tells her she’s the best thing that’s ever happened. She kisses him and says this is not the end for them.
