General Hospital recap for Friday, December 2, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Drew and Michael talk about what’s important, Sasha and Sam decorate the plaza, and Joss won’t turn her back on Dex.
We also have Thursday’s GH recap where Valentin brought Sonny a dangerous offer, Michael ordered Dex away from Joss, Willow collapsed, and Chase was officially off the force.
Dante stops by his father’s office as Sonny is getting off the phone with Brick. He thanks his father for Thanksgiving.
The cop tells him they both know Michael was right about him abducting and beating Dex.
Sonny says that was months ago. His son pointed out he committed a felony and is doing it again.
Dante realizes that the further apart his father and Michael have become and the closer they have become.
He’s always kept the line between his duty as a cop and a son clear, but now that is blurring. If anyone else had been involved in what happened to Dex, he would have gone after them.
Sonny won’t ask him to cover for him.
Dante asks him what he knows about Anna’s escape and admits he heard him on the phone with someone about it.
Sipping some espresso, Sonny stays silent. His son is sure he broke her out of police custody.
Dante warns that he better have covered his tracks because if he didn’t, he will have to do something he doesn’t want to do.
He loves his father but has to uphold his oath. Sonny assures him he won’t love him any less if he arrests him.
They hug and Dante exits.
Michael meets Drew at Carly’s. Drew tells him they need to be prepared because he and Carly could be facing criminal charges.
He can’t assume that Ned is going to forgive and forget. He can’t afford to provoke him.
Michael agrees to mend fences with Ned too. Drew explains that he and Carly have gotten closer and will have to keep it quiet.
This is awkward but Michael is happy for them. Drew thinks it may be short-lived since it is difficult and sneaking around feels dishonest. The timing is wrong.
Michael suggests this may be the only time they get.
Although he doesn’t want to be involved in his mom’s personal life, he knows people get less time than they think.
Drew is confused and wonders if he’s talking about Sonny.
Michael explains how precious things are and how much he wishes he could freeze his time with Willow and the kids. He just has to deal with life messing up his plans.
There aren’t any do-overs. He urges Drew not to pass on the chance for something good.
At Dex’s, Joss gets his shirt off to check his wound. He wonders if she came to see him.
She tells him to put his shirt on. They talk about him sleeping in her bed and he complains he was too feverish to do anything other than sleep.
“There’s always next time,” she says.
They chat about his bullet wound. He urges her to bail on him.
She knows he’s involved in something illegal. Dex flashes back to Michael warning him to keep Joss away.
“I need you to leave now and never come back,” he says. She knows he’s dangerous, but she thinks he can do much better than work for Sonny.
Joss won’t pretend that what they’ve gone through together is meaningless. If he doesn’t want her, he needs to say it.
Dex wants to do the right thing. She tells him to be honest instead.
Dex pulls her in for a kiss and Sonny starts banging on the door.
At the gate house, Carly arrives as Willow is screaming at Nina for meddling in her life. When she walks in, Willow collapses.
Nina gets a cold towel. When she offers to call 9-1-1, Willow leaps up and yelps, “No!”
She insists she only needs to rest. Carly hands her a glass of water and asks Nina to step outside.
When they get there, Nina insists she didn’t come to start a fight. Carly believes it but still thinks she needs to stay away.
Nina takes off and Carly heads back in. She tells Willow she needs to see her doctor.
Michael shows up and his mom explains that Willow fainted.
Willow claims she just forgot to eat. Carly leaves them alone and Michael immediately calls Dr. Randolph.
She tells him what happened with Nina and how she snapped before passing out. He says they need to find her a donor. It’s time to tell people she has leukemia.

Emma Samms exits and the latest GH comings and goings
When Carly gets home, she’s surprised to find Drew in the kitchen. He kisses her and he says they need to take advantage of all the time they have.
She can’t argue with that. They make out.
He gets a text informing him of a lead on Willow’s birth parents.
In the plaza, Sam helps Sasha decorate. She tells Sam this was Nina’s idea and goes on about how thoughtful she is.
As they set up a garland, they discuss decorating with the kids. Sasha stops herself. Sam says she doesn’t need to edit herself.
Sasha admits she has trouble processing her emotions.
Sam explains she’s learned to accept the dreams for someone who will never be there. She tells her about her stillborn daughter.
Sasha realizes Liam would be about a year old now. She talks about what she and Brando would have done for him for the holiday.
They talk about how great the holidays and Sasha says it’s true that helping others is a great way to help yourself.
Nina shows up and Sasha realizes something is wrong. “Sometimes I’m afraid I am as awful as Willow thinks I am,” Nina admits.
She does a lot of stupid things and worries about Willow fainting. Sasha tells her to take a deep breath and think about how to prevent it happening again.
Nina says Carly has made it clear that the best thing she can do for Willow is stay away from her.
Dante joins Sam and they chat about the kids. He admits that he hopes that he and Rocco never have the same problems he has with his father.
She doesn’t think he has much to worry about as long as Rocco doesn’t become a criminal. They hug and talk about how much love he shares with his son.
He thanks her for their family and the traditions they will make.
At Pentonville, Victor calls his goon and orders him to sift through the ashes to find the diamonds.
He joins Nikolas in the visiting room. When Spencer is shown in and spots his father, he wants to return to his cell.
Victor reminds him he needs his father. Spencer explains he doesn’t need his father now that his uncle has made sure he can get access to his trust fund.
Nikolas knows he hasn’t been a good father and hates that he’s broken his heart. But if he lets him back in his life, he will never hurt him again.
Spencer doesn’t want to hear another of these disingenuous speeches.
Sensing this is pointless, Nikolas exits.
Victor orders Spencer to sit down and tells him how disappointed he is in him.
Spencer knows his uncle may be powerful outside, but he has competition in there.
Cyrus shows up.
The two men get territorial about Spencer. Cyrus introduces himself.
Spencer says he’s grateful for all of his uncles and how helpful they are.
Victor encourages his son to reconsider mending fences with his father. Cyrus accuses him of trying to kill Laura and Martin.
Spencer defends Victor, who points out that Cyrus nearly killed Trina and Britt.
The two uncles threaten each other. Victor urges his nephew not to let Cyrus manipulate him.
After he exits, Cyrus tells Spencer he’s sorry he had to learn about Victor this way.
Spencer mopes back to his cell.
