General Hospital recap for Tuesday, October 11, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Dex refuses to tell Dante anything, Anna asks Robert for help with a warrant, Lucy distracts Victor, and Trina worries to Ava about going away with Rory.
We also have Monday’s GH recap where Esme snuck into Wyndemere as Oz’s body was discovered and Nikolas caught her breaking into his safe.
Dante stops by Dex’s and asks about his bruises and how they happened. He asks if Sonny was involved. “Do you want justice?” Dante asks.
Dex reminds him that a few days ago he thought he was a killer. The cop is following up the suggestion he was the victim of a serious crime. Does he want him to file charges?
Dex won’t say anything. Dante assumes he’s been threatened and is afraid. Showing him the door, Dex tells him that whoever accused Sonny of trying to harm him is a liar.
Robert is surprised to walk into his office and find Anna sitting behind his desk. She says that if they are to bring Luke’s killer to justice, they have a lot of work to do.
She feels like she’s hit a dead end. Whenever she mentions Victor’s name, any lead vanishes. She asks him for a warrant to arrest Johann for whatever. The charges don’t have to stick.
He doesn’t think abusing his office and wasting money is a good idea. Scorpio assumes there’s more going on. She wants to tell him but can’t.
After she plays the Luke card, he agrees to make a call. Deputy Mayor Ashby interrupts and Anna takes off.
Ashby asks Robert what his ex was doing there. He claims they were planning a trip to Australia. She hopes that was the case. Anna has been known to pull the PCPD into WSB business.
She intends to stop him if that’s what he’s doing and threatens to set up a review of his office. He accuses her of abusing her position.
Once she leaves, he calls Anna and urges her to abort whatever scheme she’s concocted.
Ava joins Trina at Kelly’s. They discuss Oz’s death and the Jerome guesses she has something on her mind. She’d like to hear about something other than life and death.
Trina tells her Rory invited her on an overnight trip. She’s worried about that leap and the last time she went on a trip. She can’t shake the feeling something terrible will happen.
Ava can understand she’s afraid of leaving herself open to hurt but she shouldn’t let what Esme did dictate the rest of her life.
Trina says she feels safe with Rory but worries that will change if they go away together. Ava tells her it’s her call but all romance involves a leap of faith.
Victor and Johann look in on them. He orders Johann to keep an eye on Ava and keep up the illusion Esme is still alive.

Kelly Thiebaud exits and the latest GH comings and goings
At Wyndemere, Nikolas is shocked when he catches Esme breaking into his safe. “Miss me?” she asks. He’s lost for words. She’s sure Ava has him roped into her scheme.
She’s sure he celebrated after leaving her for dead. But now she’s back and he’ll have to try harder next time.
He tells her he didn’t want her to die. Coming back was a mistake. The PCPD is looking for her. She insists they have it all wrong. He wonders if she bumped off Oz.
Esme insists the only thing she is guilty of is loving his son and trusting him. He’s done with the victim act. She asks if he really believes all those horrible things about her.
They talk about the killings and he notes it’s a big coincidence that three of the victims are people she thinks wronged her. He’s sure she came back for revenge.
“That would mean you’re next,” she points out with a smile. After she laughs, she asks him to spot her for a few ground as she heads for the door.
He stops her and threatens to call the police. She smirks and says he won’t call the cops on her and their baby. She reveals the bump.
Back at the Metro Court, Lucy bursts into Victor’s room in tears. “Is it Morton?” he asks. Lucy keeps sobbing about missing the chance to deliver flowers to Brando’s memorial.
Victor sends Johann to deliver the flowers. He comforts Lucy.
Nina meets Valentin in the hallway and he asks her to help him sneak into Victor’s room. For everyone’s safety, she can’t ask questions.
He needs her help to plant a bug in a suite and then move Victor into it before Johann can sweep for it. She worries about him taking on Victor alone, but he assures her he has backup.
Nina calls Victor’s room and says they need to move him to another suite temporarily. She lays on the apologies and promises him some complementary wine.
Reluctantly, Victor agrees but tells Lucy something seems off. He asks her to wait so he can give her his full attention.
Victor and Lucy go into the new room. He pours her some wine and wonders why a floral arrangement could have reduced her to a hysterical puddle. He’s sure she’s up to something.
Lucy tells him she needs someone to make her feel safe and that’s him. She goes on about her fears and her future. He promises she won’t be alone.
She claims it’s a comfort to listen to him discuss his plans for the future and prods him to tell her more. Before he can, Ashby calls to say they have a problem.
Anna and Valentin listen in through the bug.
At Brando’s memorial, Sonny tells Michael he wants to make things right with him. That makes Michael laugh. He says it’s too late.
Sonny challenges him to look him in the eyes and say that. Michael says he doesn’t recognize him anymore. He keeps dodging his glances, but Sonny is eager for them to stop hurting each other.
They just watched Gladys bury her son. Sonny reminds him of losing Morgan and tells him he will always love him. They need to find a way to be a family again.
Michael says the word “family” doesn’t erase what he’s done. Sonny tells him life is unpredictable and he can’t know he wouldn’t make the same choices if he was in his shoes.
Sonny reminds him he’s been his father for years. He understands the never-ending circle of betrayal from his own experience, but he still loves him and this needs to end before it’s too late.
Sobbing, Sonny tells him they’ve buried too many people. As Michael is about to cave, Nina jogs in.
Michael tells Sonny he just sees him for who he is. He’s not the man he knew. Sonny tells him he has no right to judge him.
As he shouts at Michael, Dante interrupts and says this ends now. He asks to speak to Michael alone. Dex told him he lied about everything.
He accuses him of lying to the police about a crime and tells him to let go of his beef with Sonny before it gets too destructive. The cop gets a call. There’s been another victim.
Once they are alone, Nina asks Sonny what they will do. He says she needs to keep her bodyguard. She can’t believe Michael lied to the police about him.
Michael bursts into Dex’s room and congratulates him on lying to protect Sonny. Now they have him right where they want him.
