Chase gets out of the shower when a call comes in. He tells the caller to relax. He’s got this covered.
Laura finds Aiden looking at an Ouija board on his cell phone. She remembers using them as a kid to contact the dead but calls them pretend.
She asks why he’s interested in this. He flashes to thinking about Franco and lies that it’s something he saw on TV. Lucy strolls up and Laura congratulates her on her IPO.
Lucy set aside stock for her but Laura says as mayor, it’s not a good idea to invest in any businesses.
Lucy’s so excited, since she’s been getting congratulatory bouquets. She stammers when she mentions Martin. Laura thinks she should relax. She knows Lucy’s dating her brother.
They talk about her when she visits him. Lucy smiles brightly. She’s quite fond of him but it’s hard to avoid Valentin, so she’s sending out positive energy to the universe to help make Valentin see it’s okay that she and Martin have a relationship.
Laura thinks he’d choose her over Valentin. Laura goes to get coffee while Lucy sits with Aiden, who asks if she believes in spirits. She thinks so and calls it tricky.
She thinks it’s best not to participate in any of that. Instead, put positive vibes out to the universe. He seems unconvinced. He purchases the Ouija board.
Liz lets Finn into her house and he immediately worries about her safety. She says her kids are safe at Laura’s and nothing happened last night.
They agree this mess isn’t over with and she knows he needs to prioritize Violet. It’s obvious she’s exhausted and that makes Finn worry some more.
She shrugs him off and says Cam was there all night. Finn has a solution and before he can tell her, Liz opens the door to Chase, who wanders in with a bag. “I am so sorry I’m late,” he says.
Liz is puzzled. Finn admits he knew if he asked her she’d refuse to let his brother stay with her and protect her. Liz doesn’t think it’s necessary to have a baby sitter.
Chase will help find out who is trying to scare her family and put a stop to it. Chase plans on catching whoever is after her on camera.
He pulls out a cam and says he’ll sleep during the day and put up the motion sensor cams at night. If something else happens, they’ll have evidence.
Carly wanders into Charlie’s and eavesdrops on Sonny talking to his goon about being glad Phyllis wasn’t here when they were almost robbed. Sonny sends his goon away and Carly tells him she heard about the robbery.
She asks if his enemies are smelling blood in the water. Sonny thinks there are wannabees trying to make names for themselves. He tells her Brick’s taking over for Jason.
Carly doesn’t want to know. She just wants to ensure their kids will be safe. He tells her he’ll always do that. “Is that equally true for your grandson?” She asks.
He tells her he’s staying out of Nina’s court case. Carly barks about him being a part of Nina’s life and he sighs. Sonny asks if they have to rehash this.
He wanted to tell her about what happened in Nixon Falls. Phyllis interrupts. She has bottles of Club Soda of his. Sonny tells Carly he’s off alcohol.
It doesn’t mix with his meds. She knows. She tried telling him that for years and he never listened. She snaps and guesses that Nina told him and he listened to her.
He cuts the conversation short and Phyllis tells Carly about working with Harmony or Lorraine in the past.
Nina visits Alexis. They talk about trying to avoid a court case about visitation with Wiley. Alexis says Harmony told her that she owes Nina something.
Nina isn’t sure what she means by that. She’s not holding anything over Harmony’s head. Alexis looks puzzled. Nina says she doesn’t have history with Harmony or a relationship with her.

At Metro Court, Willow tells Smoltz about her discussion with Nina and how Nina filed for visitation rights for Wiley. Michael says it’s important that the story goes live before the court case begins.
He admits he does have to reach out to Miss Reeves for her side of the story. If there’s something they’re not telling him, they should tell him now.
He’ll just find out on his own. He lets them know his terms. They need to keep silent with other media outlets. They agree and he takes off.
Outside, Harmony gets on a call to Brendan who demands the hush money. She lies that she’s got it and looks into her bag which is filled with a huge syringe.
She goes inside and bumps into Willow who asks why she’s there. Harmony’s cagey. Willow tells her about things in the past being dredged up in the media because of the court case. She knows that her mother has paid her debt, and she’s over that.
“That’s what makes you different from Nina,” Michael ads. That means a lot to Harmony. She hugs her daughter and reminds her she’s the most important thing in the world to her.
Smoltz wanders into Alexis’s office and finds Nina. Is she poaching his leads? He tells them that he’s been talking with Michael and Willow about Nina dragging them to court over visitation of Wiley. “Any comment?” He asks, pulling out his voice recorder.
She swats his recorder and tells him off. Alexis crosses her arms and purses her lips as Nina tells Alexis what a good job she’s done cleaning up this tabloid.
She leaves and Smoltz tries to tell Alexis he’s writing a legit story behind this battle. Alexis isn’t interested. Smoltz thinks she’ll read it. It’s the least she can do after screwing him over.
He thinks Nina’s traumatizing the whole family and his series of articles should shine a light on what she’s doing. Alexis admits she is interested and he can write it if he uses an even hand and uses the human element in a non-exploitative way.
He has to let Nina have her say. If she finds out he’s been messy, she’ll kill the story.
In the park, Harmony takes out her big-assed syringe from her bag and Brendan strolls up, asking if she’s ready to make all this go away.
She puts the syringe away and hands over about a thousand dollars.
She says she’ll pay in instalments. He snipes that she was supposed to get the money from Alexis. “That settles it. If you can’t keep your end of the deal, why should I?”
Telling Nina the truth would compromise the visitation case. Maybe he should tell Michael instead.
They argue and she shoves him. He pushes her off and she falls on the ground. Her syringe spills out and Brendan sees. “What the hell?”
He grabs it and realizes she’s the one who hooked him on it. “You killed my brother, didn’t you?!” She cries and struggles to get the syringe and Brendan falls over the edge.
Nina waltzes into Metro Court and gets in Willow’s face about siccing Smoltz on her. Willow invites her to do the same thing and then tells her she’s on to her.
She won’t let her play victim anymore.
