General Hospital recap for Monday, September 26, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Ava’s shocked by Nik’s “confession,” and Dex is found hovering over Diane.
We also have Thursday’s GH recap where Diane was attacked by the Hook Killer, and Nikolas made a grand gesture to Ava.
At the hospital, Nik has an envelope for Ava. She says whatever it is, it can’t buy back her love that he threw away by doing Esme.
She opens it and he tells her it’s his life in her hands. She reads a letter that has him confessing to killing Esme Prince.
He says no jury would believe what really happened was just an accident.
She asks if he believes the melodramatic gesture given at the 11th hour is really going to change anything. He can’t undo his mistake with Esme but he can ensure she doesn’t suffer.
She tells him to look at her. She suffers daily. Nik tells her to keep the letter as an insurance policy.
She will but she needs more. She will record his confession on her phone.
She records him reading “every single incriminating word.”
He does it, citing he killed Esme for revenge or justice. He only regrets not doing it sooner. He thinks she’s thawing for him and leaves her with a Ferrero Roche.
Mac and Felicia stroll into Metro Court to see Robert.
Robert mentions the Hook Killer but Felicia wants a topic change and sees Cody at the bar, ordering domestic beer and requesting champagne for his upscale date.
He looks over at Mac and wonders if he’s stalking him now. He cancels his order.
Mac, Felicia, and Robert watch Cody as Felicia tells Robert all about him.
At the hospital, Terry and Britt talk about her date with Cody. Terry’s happy to get roses from Yuri. Finn appears, “I need you,” he says.
Britt asks if he identified the venom that killed Brando Corbin. Cody calls Britt and invites her bowling. She’s not interested.
She’s in a dress and heels. If they don’t stick to the date she’s headed home.
He relents and Britt takes off. Finn tells Terry he identified the venom and they need the antidote to keep around just in case.
He tells her about what Liz told him about the blackouts and that she’s remembering things with Kevin’s help that she’s been repressing for years.
Terry asks if it’s about her family. He thinks so. She won’t press him for more.
Gregory and Alexis have coffee and talk about clues as to who killed Brando. They take off.

Kelly Thiebaud exits and the latest GH comings and goings
Diane’s bloody handprint is left on her desk and she lies in a pool of her own blood on the floor.
Gregory and Alexis arrive and he worries that the door is open. Inside, Dex is applying pressure to Diane’s wound. “What the hell?”
Gregory exclaims. He tells “the man” to step back but Dex is trying to help her. As Alexis calls the police, Gregory feels for a pulse but it’s barely there.
Anna and Valentin drink scotch in front of the fire. They stare at one another and he thinks he’s dreaming. She’s more beautiful by firelight.
She brings up Charlotte being taken from him. She’s been there. He thinks his rage might be the only thing keeping him sane.
He talks about his crimes and making a lot of enemies. Anna thinks of Robin and how she sold her soul to the highest bidder.
She wouldn’t change that but she’d change her perspective.
She thinks it’s similar to how he wants to be better for Charlotte. Valentin thinks she’s succeeded but he doesn’t know about him.
They both agree that the end justifies the means. He thinks of it as his guiding principle.
He wants to be a better man for Charlotte and to keep her safe. If it means he has to murder his own father, he will. He said he had a chance but he knows there’s a fail-safe.
If Victor dies, his daughter could. Also, he couldn’t kill him because of Anna. They acknowledge that each would off the other for their children and Valentin admits he has loved her since he saw her. They kiss.
Britt arrives at the bar to meet Cody. Robert watches and thinks he might go over there and rattle the man.
Mac gets a notification and tells the table that there was another attack by the Hook Killer.
Mac heads to the scene while Robert goes to the hospital to wait.
Meanwhile, Cody tells Britt he wants to leave because of the trio nearby.
When they all leave, Britt asks if he feels better. He thinks they’re similar people but she’s turned over a new slate.
Felicia turns up and interrupts their date.
She’s glad the Q picnic didn’t scare them off. Cody says her husband won’t, either. He gets in Felicia’s face about the Hook Killer and she says Mac’s just doing his job.
Cody asks if it’s something else. As they talk, Britt’s bored. Felicia realizes she’s ruining their date. “Yeah, you are.”
She tells Cody that Mac and Dominique were close at one point. He wants to know how close. Felicia tells the bartender to put their drinks on her bill. She can’t talk to Cody about this.
If he wants answers, he should talk to Mac.
It’s not her story to tell. She hands him Mac’s cell phone number. Britt thinks their date is over. She takes off.
Back at the s scene of the crime, Diane’s wheeled out by paramedics before Mac turns up and learns she was a victim. He turns to Dex, wondering what he’s doing there.
Gregory tells him that he was trying to save her life.
Alexis thanks Dex and they take off, leaving Mac to question Dex.
Mac thinks he has the worst timing in the world or he knows more than what he’s saying. Dex knows his rights. He refuses to talk so is taken downtown.
Robert’s already with Finn when Diane’s wheeled into General Hospital. Finn wonders how Alexis and Gregory got there so fast.
They let him know that they were the ones to find her.
Robert considers that the person the victims all have in common is Sonny Corinthos.
As Terry tells Finn that the wounds are similar to Brando and Ava’s and that she’s going into surgery, Alexis accepts Gregory holding her hand as they worry. They rush off to “have a conversation with the killer.”
Finn meanwhile is concerned that they haven’t much time if she was given the same venom as Brando. Finn quickly learns that the venom is the same. He runs to prep an injection, hopeful he can save Diane.
In the bedroom, Valentin pushes Anna up against the wall as he takes off her dressing gown.
She smiles and they kiss. They move to the bed and he holds her leg in his hands.
He stops and lets her know that he wants to slow down.
He’s wanted her for years and doesn’t want to rush things. She smiles and they kiss.
They make out and she gets on top of him. The dressing gown comes off. His shirt comes off, and they grin at one another.
He peels down her bra and slides his hand up her leg as they have sex.
