General Hospital recap for Wednesday, July 13, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Brando has difficult questions for Sasha, Trina tells Rory they can’t kiss again, and Drew blames himself for the mess Carly is in.

Nina shows up in Carly’s office and tells her that she bought her half. Carly assumes she did it to stick it to her, but Nina insists she bought it for her. She’s giving it to her no strings attached.
Carly is sure that something must be in this for her. Nina denies this but Carly starts railing at her. The publisher keeps saying she’s trying to make up for her mistakes the little she can.
Carly’s sure she believes that but is sure she really bought her half of the hotel so Sonny couldn’t. She rehashes everything that’s happened since Nixon Falls and blames it all on her.
She’ll never forgive her and would rather crawl over broken glass then take her help. No amount of crying is going to change that. “This place is yours. I will be out by the end of the week,” Carly says, showing her the door.
At General Hospital, Sasha tells Brando that he’s the best husband in the universe. He just wants her to get better. Now that they are past the worst of it, she asks him how bad the fallout is.
He tells her just to worry about resting and recovering. She’s mortified about having a breakdown on television. This is the second time she’s messed up and it’s not fair for her partners.
Gladys comes in and assures her that everything is being handled. Sasha’s determined to go home tomorrow but guesses they aren’t telling her something. They need to discuss her treatment options.
She claims she was just stressed out. He reminds her she was on pills. She claims it was only a one time thing but he knows it wasn’t. Sasha makes excuses and Gladys leaves them alone.
His wife keeps insisting she’s okay but he’s worried. He wants to believe her but he can’t. She’d lied to him about using and doesn’t know how to deal with that. Was she using drugs when they got married?
She wasn’t high during the ceremony but was on pills when she proposed. She insists the drugs having nothing to do with her feelings for him. That’s all over now. He reminds her that he’s an addict too and will support her through rehab.
Sasha repeats she was only stressed but he repeats that she needs rehab. She needs more than he can give and this is something she has to do for herself.
Portia calls to try and get in to see a genetic specialist. It’s urgent. Curtis and Marshall arrive and ask what’s going on. She claims it was just a consult for a patient. They have a lead.
They tried to track down Oz, who sold Esme the burner phone. He’s disappeared. They haven’t give up and have another plan in motion to find him. If they can get him to admit to selling the phone, they could blow the case open.
Curtis gets a call from a PI and Portia thanks Marshall for all his help. He tells her that she has a wonderful daughter. She just wants this ended once and for all. Marshall thanks her for letting him stay in her home.
Portia says it took a lot of courage for him to open up about his diagnosis. He’s grateful thinks are finally okay with his son. She probes him about his early symptoms.
Curtis returns and explains they have some more leads and Taggert is helping to track them down. They should have answers by the morning. Marshall is determined to help.
Rory and Trina kiss in the park. He’s been waiting a long time to do that. She’s glad he finally did but worries it might just be a distraction. He’s not sure and suggests they try again to check.
They kiss again and agree that was more than a distraction. She likes him. He’s great and she doesn’t regret kissing him but it can’t happen again. He wonders if she’s still hung up on Spencer.
She says Spencer has nothing to do with this and reminds him she’s on trial starting tomorrow. He says everything will work out and she should have faith. She’s taking her life hours at a time. Rory suggests they enjoy the here and now. She agrees to that.
They talk about the stars and how beautiful they are.

At the pool, Olivia informs Sonny that someone has bought Carly’s half of the hotel. She wishes she’d said yes to one of them. When he spots Drew, he wonders if she had a guardian angel.
They approach him and ask if he bought Carly’s share. He didn’t and beats himself up about causing the situation. They all know Carly can’t be stopped once she sets her mind on something.
Dex tells Sonny visiting hours end soon. Before he leaves, Sonny tells them he will offer any help he can. Brick calls him and he asks him to check on some information.
Drew apologizes to Olivia for the situation. She’s reassuring but they rehash everything that happened with Ned. She’s standing by her husband but wishes the family wasn’t constantly at odds.
He insists that he was trying to save the family from Valentin and what Ned did was selfish. She’s sure this won’t be the only time he gets burned by his family. The Quartermaines love each other but they also give in to their worst impulses.
He can forgive that or he can be bitter. She wishes it wasn’t the case, but being part of that family means getting stabbed in the back.
Carly arrives. Olivia runs to her and her friend says “the most surreal, twisted thing just happened.” She tells them that Nina bought her half of the hotel and she refused to accept it. Olivia understands, but wishes she had.
After Olivia leaves, Drew notes Carly rejected three offers of help. So what’s the plan now? She doesn’t have one. He admires her guts. Carly won’t risk her family for anyone, but she’s feeling lost. He hugs her.
When Sonny gets to the hospital, Gladys tells him she feels like she’s failed Sasha. He doesn’t think so. She’s trying and that’s all she can do. Mike would be proud of her.
Gladys fetches Brando, who comes out and tells him this isn’t a good time. Sonny assures him he will figure it out and Sasha will eventually start listening. As Corinthos is about to take off, he bumps into Nina by the elevators.
He asks to speak to her in private and leads her away and asks if she bought Carly’s half of the hotel. She wanted to give it back to her but Carly just accused her of being self-serving. “Do you blame her?” he asks.
She expected Carly to think the worse of her, but not him. That’s not what he’s saying. She insists she just wanted to make amends so it would be easier for them to move forward.
She asks if he’s made peace with the past. Sonny makes it clear that he wants to be with her. “Wherever that leads us, I’m all in,” he says, they kiss.
Dex sits down with Brando and tells him his wife will be okay. Brando wishes he had his confidence. They talk about being vets and how many times they almost died. Dex didn’t want to tempt fate and got out.
Gladys returns to Sasha’s room. The model asks her to have her back. Going forward, she’s going to make a point of having more downtime. Gladys is disturbed she’s acting like this is no big deal. She clearly hasn’t processed losing Liam.
“Get the help you so obviously need,” she encourages. As she gets out of bed, Sasha continues to refuse to go to rehab. This is no one’s decision but her own.
