General Hospital recap for Wednesday, August 24, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Selina threatens Curtis, Olivia and Ned talk magic, and Trina gets to know Rory a little better.
We also have Tuesday’s GH recap where Sonny fought with Nikolas and Michael, Willow kept her cancer quiet, and Portia accepted Curtis’ proposal.
Rory and Trina are in Kelly’s having milkshakes. She tells him their relationship is lopsided. She still doesn’t know anything about him. He warns she might not like what she hears.
He explains that he’s been working on a graphic novel. That actually impresses her.
Anna is arguing with someone over the phone by the pool. She bumps into Curtis and congratulates him on Trina’s case. He fills her in on getting engaged.
Jordan eavesdrops on Portia trying to get a genetic counseling appointment for Trina regarding her paternal line. She flashes back to Portia having a secret about Taggert to tell her daughter.
Spencer finds Jordan looking upset and bumping into deck furniture. She claims she’s just had too much sun.
Portia joins Curtis and Anna admires her ring. He promises some more surprises for his fiancée and then leaves to take a call.
Portia thanks Anna for being so gracious given that she’s friends with Jordan. Curtis returns and says he needs to leave to take care of something.
Once he’s gone, Anna congratulates Portia again. Jordan pops up and says she thinks Curtis deserves the best. She mentions how crucial transparency is to him and hopes Portia can give him what she couldn’t.
Stepping aside, Jordan asks Anna if she thought she knew something that could deeply affect her ex’s relationship, would she say something.
Anna says whether the information is true is less important than her reasons for revealing it. They leave to get a drink.
Portia tells Spencer she’s grateful for what he did at the trial, but Trina has move on and she’s happy. She hopes he will do the same.
Rory and Trina arrive so Spencer takes off. Portia tells them she just got engaged. They scream.
After Portia leaves to take a call, Trina wanders over to Spencer and complains about how unfair it is he’s being sent to prison. He wishes he had spoken up for her sooner.
Rory offers to talk to one of the guards at Pentonville to get him a job in the library. Spencer thanks him and tells Trina it’s good to see her happy before walking off.

Kelly Thiebaud exits and the latest GH comings and goings
In the Quartermaine kitchen, Olivia assures Leo that his potion is harmless and that people who are destined to fall in love will. Ned joins them and hears all about the potion.
Leo worries the couples could get mixed up. Ned jokes that may be an improvement. Olivia says a prayer to her Nona and scatters some salt.
Ned tells Leo not to worry and sends him out to enjoy the picnic. Olivia tells her husband about all the magic in the world. She goes on about the power of the Sicilian Thunderbolt.
Ned wonders if she gave him one of those. She didn’t have to.
Carly finds Drew at the grill. After he asks her if she wants it smoking hot, she asks him if he’s flirting. People have noticed they seem to be more than friends.
“What the hell is going on between us?” she asks. Carly decides this is embarrassing. He grabs her hand and admits he is flirting with her.
Carly admits she’s had a hard time letting herself consider what they might have. He reminds her of how much they have been going through and how awkward the timing has been.
Drew admits he’s had to work hard not to put the moves on her.
He knows how complicated this could get. Drew doesn’t think they can ignore the fire between them. They kiss.
Dante and Brook Lynn discuss Sam. He admits they may have hit a roadblock.
When he runs into Sam outside the stable, she admits she knows she hurt him when she didn’t agree to move in with him. She’s sorry about that.
He assures her she has nothing to apologize for. Sam explains it wasn’t the timing that was wrong. She just got stuck in her head and worried about measuring up to Lulu.
He tells her that his life with Lulu was over long ago and the window will always be open to her.
She tells him they need to control their own fate and just do it. She’s absolutely sure about moving in. He doesn’t have to change a thing when she and the kids move in.
Dante doesn’t want them to move in. He wants to move in with her. All their kids need is them…and a Playstation and fridge full of food. She happily agrees to that. They kiss.
Chase finds Brook Lynn and tells her that she’s pigheaded and impossible to understand. She trashes his fashion sense.
He says she’s sexy and he’s been falling for her for a long time. They kiss until they almost fall over. They notice Leo has been eavesdropping.
He tells them they have been kissing because of him. He fills them in about the potion. Once Chase chases the kid away, she worries the kiss could have been because of the potion.
Chase dismisses this and repeats that he’s wanted her for a long time. Brook Lynn worries that they are mistaking other feelings for something more.
She’d love it if their feelings were real, but how can they be sure? He tells her how fearless she is… except when it comes to her heart. She can’t push him away anymore because their feelings are real.
She admits she’s sacred. He’s terrified too, but he’s all in. they can be scared together.
Leo runs to the kitchen and tells his parents he saw Chase and Brook Lynn kissing. They hug about that and thank the Sicilian Thunderbolt.
Curtis meets with Selina in the park. She congratulates him on Trina’s triumph in court and was glad to see her tip about Oz paid off. She wonders how grateful he is.
Curtis thanks her for her congratulations. She informs him that a delivery will be transferred through The Savoy. He assures her that he and his staff will not interfere.
When he says he won’t take part in transferring illegal goods, she reminds him that she is better as a friend than an enemy.
He doesn’t like being threatened. She says her people will reach out about the shipment and wishes him continued good fortune.
Portia arrives at General Hospital to meet Dr. Samuels to discuss genetic testing. She asks if she can provide her daughter’s DNA sample. Samuels can’t allow that. She can only speak directly to the patient.
