General Hospital recap for Thursday, April 8, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Curtis makes a deal with Selena, Jennifer Smith is set up and arrested, while Harmony is blackmailed.
We also have Wednesday’s GH recap where Harmony received some mysterious texts and Nina had a warning for Sonny.
Jennifer Smith comes from the shower and puts her arms around Valentin and kisses him.
He stalls her by telling her in his French accent that they need champagne. He makes the call.
Outside, Anna and Felicia are dressed for the beach. Anna says Felecia looks like she stepped off of The Real Housewives of Port Charles.
She offers to step in for her at the auction but Felicia calls her too recognizable. Anna really wants to prove Victor is behind this.
Felicia learned that someone saw Jennifer get friendly with a “mustachioed Frenchman.”
Anna laughs at the term and sees someone she knows. A WSB agent. She didn’t call for back up. She goes to find out what’s up and approaches Beeman.
She tells him she’s trying to flush out a sting. He lets her know the auction won’t happen.
They’ve evidence of where the diamond is. Their goal is to get the Ice Princess and take whomever took it in.
She wants in or at least to find out who took it. He sighs. She can get clearance. He says, “Alright. You armed?” She is.
At the restaurant, Harmony reads the mysterious text and squirms as she reads that they think
Willow would want to know the truth about her real mother.
Willow asks if she’s alright. She covers and tells her she needs to go. She professes her love and takes off, rushing past Michael on the way out.
Willow tells him that she has a feeling that something is up with her mom. In the elevator, Harmony calls the mysterious texter and asks them to stop texting. She’ll meet.
Inside, Willow hopes that Nina will back off once the five story series goes up about her. At least they don’t need to worry about his assault charge.
Still, he insists they should be ready. Nina could paint herself as a better influence and his dad will probably side with Nina.
Willow’s sorry. He thinks they might bring up her mom’s criminal past.
Nina calls Scotty to discuss Wiley but he heads into a restaurant and tells Nina he has to get his ducks in a row.
He goes to see Sonny and tells him about the visitation Nina wants with Wiley. Scott wants to call him as a character reference.
Sonny shakes his head with a smirk. He shrugs. Scott asked questions and he answered them. Scotty reminds him that no matter how this turns out, he will lose.
He betrays Nina or throws Michael under the bus. His money is on the old Sonny who looks out for number one. Nina will be collateral damage.
“Is that the way you see me?” Sonny asks. Scotty thinks Liesl will see him as a hero. Sonny admits he underestimated him. Sonny threatens that he’ll get exactly what he deserves.
Portia yells at some paparazzi to get off her lawn before she heads inside. Trina is concerned but Portia says they’re leaving.
She learns Curtis took off for the Savoy and is surprised. They discuss Stella’s panic attack and how much stress she’s been under.
The reporters couldn’t be good for her. Marshall asks if she feels responsible. She knows that the more this goes on, it’ll affect those she cares about.
She wonders if she should take the plea deal. He remembers going through something where he had to make a choice on whether to cause his family pain or not.
He asked what would bring the least amount of harm their way. Trina asks if his decision caused less harm. He laughs. He’s not sure.

Curtis gets a visit from Selena at the Savoy. She tells him tonight is rife with opportunity.
He tells N’neka to go out back to wait for a delivery as Selena lets Curtis know she’s pleased he changed his mind. She details what she wants and calls it above board.
She wants two games a week. He has a hard time believing it’s above board.
She asks what his terms are. She offers a down payment in cash. He gasps and wants information she may have access to about a witness protection file and related arrest documents. “I’ll do my best,” she tells him.
They almost shake on it but he has some requests. She finds it all reasonable. He doesn’t want to end up in a battle with Sonny Corinthos. He tells her there are no games until he gets the information he asked for. They shake on it as Nina strolls up.
Selena takes off and Curtis covers that she’s hosting a party for family. Nina gasps at all the cash Miss Wu left. He told her she was trouble.
Curtis shrugs. Nina can tell he’s in trouble and asks him to let her be there for him.
Harmony meets Neil’s brother Brendan, who shares that he knows she was his brother’s patient. “I have your file, which is full of interesting information about you and her daughter, Willow Tait.”
Harmony grits her teeth as Brendan tells her he knows Nina Reeves is Willow’s real mother. She tells him Nina was given to her.
“By Madeline Reeves,” he says. She recalls. She was so young. Nina couldn’t consent to an adoption and needed to get rid of heirs to the fortune.
There were two babies. One went to the black market and the other is hers. He tells her it’s time to pay up or the truth will come out. She’s penniless.
Brendan knows Alexis and Willow have money. She refuses to ask them, so he tells her he’ll see how much Nina will pay.
She thinks that it’ll only put him in jail. She’s survived worse threats than him. He shrugs her off. He’s got nothing to lose. “Get my money or I blow up your world.”
Back in her room, Jennifer is hot for Valentin’s French. She should have learned it herself. He offers to teach some key phrases but a knock comes to the door.
She ignores it but Anna yells, “WSB, open up!” Valentin looks caught.
She opens the door to Anna, Beeman and some other cops. Valentin runs outside to hide and they tell her they’ve evidence tying her to stolen property and Luke Spencer’s murder.
She denies that. The cops search her safe and Anna takes out the Ice Princess. Jennifer claims she’s never seen it before.
She was there to bid on it. Anna asks if she stole it from Luke. She clutches her pearls. “I would never kill Luke.”
She tells him the man she was with must have put the Ice Princess in her safe.
She refuses to say more until she speaks to a lawyer. “Cuff her, “Beeman says. A police does it and she swears she didn’t do it. Anna isn’t sure what to think.
Outside, Valentin asks someone when the boat to the main island comes. He sees Felicia and runs.
She looks after him and the waiter tells her he’s a French Navel Officer who was talking with the brunette.
When Jennifer comes out of the hotel in cuffs with the police, the server tells her that’s the woman he was with.
Anna returns and explains what went down. Felicia tells her about the Navel Officer. Anna thinks there’s more than meets the eye.
The Bureau accepted it since they have the Ice Princess. Anna thinks Victor realized they were closing in and set someone up to take the fall.
Valentin is seen hiding behind the bar near the beach as Anna says they need to find Francois Olivier. He rips off his fake mustache and makes a run for it.
Nina turns up at Willow and Michael’s table as Brendan steps up behind her.
