Love in the afternoon is on the way.
Coming up on Days of our Lives the week of February 8 – 12. The show promises to be filled with love, in addition to the usual drama, angst, and craziness. Valentine’s Day is February 14, and with it falling on a Sunday, viewers will see Salemites in a few different situations ahead of time.
Since Ciara has been reading so much Romeo and Juliet, we can expect her to be immersed in a Romeo and Juliet dream sequence with Ben. These star-crossed lovers will act out scenes from the play, they’ll wind up in bed making love. In the promo, Ben winds up taking the potion and tells his wife, “Thus with a kiss, I die.”
Meanwhile, we almost forgot they existed since they haven’t been seen together in a few weeks. This week, Steve and Kayla are back and Steve has a wedding surprise for his lovely bride, Kayla. They’re going to get hitched — again! This time they’ll do it at Brady’s pub with Abe officiating, Tripp as best man, and Sarah as maid-of-honor. “I love you, with all of my being,” Steve tells Kayla.
Also coming up in the show, threats, and rejections. Jake has an offer for his girlfriend Kate, while Philip resigns from Titan, Kristen’s scheme she started dreaming up today on Days of our Lives will come to fruition on Monday. Susan was right.
