In the Tuesday, May 18, 2020, full episode recap of Days of our Lives, Nicole blabs to Ava that she cheated on Eric, Lani learns that Kristen committed a horrible crime, and Chanel wants to talk to Allie about that kiss.
Monday’s Days episode had Kristen asking Xander to kill three Salemites.
At Salem Inn, Kristen asks if Xander’s on board with killing Sami, Lucas, Chloe, and possibly Kate if she’s not already dead. Nicole pounds on the door and Kristen whispers to get rid of her. Xander yells that it’s not a good time. Kristen hides and Xandy lets Nicole in. She reveals she lost her wedding band. She tells him her story is that she spent the night alone wasted at the Inn. “So nobody knows we slept together,” Xander says. In the bathroom, Kristen grins, having heard him.
At Lani’s, Lani urges Chanel to talk to Allie about the kiss. Chanel will do that since she’s her only friend in Salem. Lani gushes that it means a lot that she can confide in her.
Tripp gives Allie flowers at her place and lets her know that Kate’s in ICU. Allie’s visibly upset to hear Kate’s in a medically induced coma to reduce bleeding. Allie isn’t able to see her and is surprised that her dad wasn’t there. Chanel shows up and tells Allie she wanted to make sure things weren’t awkward between them after she kissed her. Allie says it’s fine and tells her about Kate. Chanel hugs her and then Henry cries so Allie takes off to tend to him while Chanel tells Tripp, “We need to talk.” She tells him she’s just friends with Allie and doesn’t want Tripp to worry that she’ll be coming between them. “Whatever Allie decides is cool with me.” Chanel leaves and Allie and Tripp kiss.

At the hospital, Rafe tells Gabi that they think Kristen made a run for it. He blames himself but Gabi says it isn’t her fault for that psycho breaking out of prison. Rafe is upset since Lucas was worried about Kate. “I blew him off. Big mistake,” Rafe admits. They wonder if Lucas knew. He calls Kristen.
Nicole hears Kristen’s phone ringing in Xander’s bathroom and wonders who he has in there. He tells her he left his phone in there. That satisfies Nicole who takes off. Kristen reappears and calls him a naughty boy. “I guess she wanted a little something spicy instead of that snore Eric Brady.” Xander refuses to kill anyone for her so she tries to blackmail him. Xander doesn’t care. He’d give anything to see the look on Eric’s face when he learns he and Nicole finally had sex. Kristen begs and offers a lot of money. Jimmy, the manager arrives with a bill for several thousand dollars. He knows Xandy doesn’t work at Titan anymore and he has until the end of the day to pay up or he’s out. He goes and Kristen gets out cash and tells him she needs proof that they’re dead.

In the wine cellar, Sami’s angry that she and Lucas had sex again. She blames Lucas and reminds him he told her he took advantage of her. Lucas rolls his eyes. They argue. Lucas isn’t interested in arguing more. He’s worried about his mom. Sami demands he take responsibility but he won’t. She wanted it as much as he did. “You’re right,” Sami says quietly, petulantly. She wonders what’s wrong with her. She’s married and should have been able to put the brakes on. She apologizes for taking it out on him. Lucas smiles. “Sami Brady has apologized? That never happens. It hasn’t happened in decades, centuries.” They laugh and then their laughter turns to worry that Kristen’s coming to finish them off. Sami recalls EJ telling her about a loose tile in the ceiling that they could use to get into the tunnels. He asks how much she weighs these days and reminds her of her bulimic days and how she was heavier. She blows up. He says he’s not the man he used to be. He hasn’t been working out and doesn’t know if he can hold her up. She urges him to do it anyway.

At home, Eli lets Lani know that Kristen broke out of prison in February and has been running around disguised as Susan. Lani’s shocked but then realizes that when she visited Kristen in prison she didn’t seem like herself. Lani tells her that she kidnapped and assaulted Kate DiMera. Lani understood she was provoked in the past for other crimes but this is different. “Why would she do that?” Eli has no idea. Talk turns to Chanel staying one more day. Is Lani okay with him running around in his “undies.” Lani doesn’t think she’d be interested. When Eli asks what that means, she doesn’t say but assures that if she saw Kristen, she’d have told him. She takes the kids for a walk. Later, Chanel shows up after Eli has had a shower and she sees his towel fall to the floor and catches a glimpse of his butt.
Nicole stops by Rafe’s to talk to Ava. She gets cold feet but Ava convinces her to talk. Nicole reveals she got into a fight with Eric since he’s not coming home for another three months. She got drunk and cheated on Eric. Ava will keep her secret and says so as Rafe walks in.
Rafe and Gabi walk into the DiMera house looking for Lucas while downstairs in the wine cellar, Sami gets on Lucas’ shoulders. He yelps. “I need a chiropractor.” She asks him to go a little to the left and the ceiling starts to come down on them. Sami falls off of Lucas and they tumble to the floor. Xander appears and Rafe asks what he wants. He’s looking for Jake for some work. Gabi sneers and doesn’t think he’ll hire him. Xander takes off and when Gabi and Rafe leave, he comes out of hiding and heads to the tunnels. He goes to the wine cellar. They’re happy to see him and get ready to leave. Xander pulls out a gun. “Sorry. I have other plans for you.”
Lani spots “Susan” in the park and Kristen tries to pretend she’s Susan. Lani says, “I know it’s you, Kristen.”
