Wednesday, March 10, 2020: On today’s full episode recap of Days of our Lives, Claire tells Julie about Ciara, Roman comforts Gabi, and Paulina makes a mistake, thinking she’s a godmother.
At the square, Abe will make an introduction for Paulina with the owner of Gabi Chic’s building but that’s all. He thinks she believes in bulldozing people. Paulina disagrees. She wants to make things vibrant. “Somebody needs to bring a little pizazz to this one-horse town.” She calls Salem a sodium-free diet when she looks around the boring stores in the square. This town needs her. “You need me,” she says. She wants to take Abe for a drink and asks if it’s a dry town. He says no. He decides to take her to Julie’s Place.

Roman finds Gabi crying outside the pub. Is it Arianna? She says no. Arianna’s great. “I just got dumped,” she says. She shares her pain over Jake leaving her for Kate. Roman says she’s talking about the mother of his children. Gabi’s sorry. She’s in a foul mood. “I didn’t know you were the president of her fan club.” Roman gets it. He doesn’t know what she sees in Jake DiMera, either. They’ve got something in common. Gabi says she’ll move on, but she starts to cry again. Roman gives her his hankie and she goes.
Theo surprises Lani at home. They embrace. He gifts the babies bracelets from the craft fair and she tells her brother about her Aunt Paulina who blew into town. He’s never met her and she tells him if he had, he’d never forgotten her. She lets him hold Jules and calls him a natural with her. She wants him to be Jules’ godfather. He’s touched. She hopes this means he’ll spend more time in Salem. He tells his sister that he and his girlfriend broke up but he doesn’t want to discuss it.
Inside the pub, Eli sits with Val. He wants her to be his son’s godmother and Julie will be his daughter’s godmother. Val is moved by his request. Eli says Theo will be Jules’ godfather and Abe will be Carver’s godfather. He asks Val to keep it to herself for now. She jokes that she’ll act shocked when he asks her in front of everyone. They laugh and Val is happy that Eli’s life is going so well.
At Julie’s Place, she worries about Sami. Claire appears, and Julie explains that her aunt was arrested. Claire’s shocked. She tells Julie that she and Ben think Ciara’s alive. Claire explains Susan’s vision. Julie wants to call Hope but Claire asks her to wait. There’s no proof yet.
Evan goes poking around Ben’s room above the garage. He sits with his gun and awaits Ben, ready to kill him.

Ben brings Orpheus’ cell phone to Shawn at SPD. Evan answers the calls to the one number in it. Shawn blows up. Ben says Evan admitted he has Ciara. “You better not be putting me on.” Ben isn’t. Shawn learns the cell phone tower is in Brookville that made the last call. It’ll take a few hours until they can find the exact spot the call was made from. Ben can’t wait. He calls Evan. Evan answers, “Dad?” They trace the call and are upset that he’s in Salem.
Abe brings Aunt Paulina into Julie’s place. Julie compliments Paulina’s shoes and is delighted to meet Lani’s aunt. Paulina learns Jules was named after Julie. “I don’t understand. They named that girl after this little old white lady.” Julie says, “Yes that’s me.” Paulina’s shocked that her son David was Eli’s father. Paulina had no idea. She can see the resemblance. “You’re the cream in his black coffee.” Paulina finds Eli to be gorgeous and Julie corrects her. He’s also a stand-up guy. Eli and Val arrive and introductions are made. Paulina see where Eli gets his good looks from. Val and Paulina talk about their gorgeous hairstyles but when Julie tries to touch Val’s hair and Paulina stops her. “Never touch a black woman’s hair!” Theo and Lani turn up with the babies. Abe pulls Theo aside and calls Paulina “intense” before he introduces her. Paulina finds Theo handsome. “How do you feel about dating older women?” She asks. Theo laughs. Lani asks Abe to be Carver’s godfather and Val the godmother of Julies, then Theo as Jules’ godfather. Eli is about to tell the family that Julie’s the godmother when Paulina squeals. “Thank you. I’m honored to accept.” Everyone’s quiet. Paulina thanks them again and makes a speech and toddles off. Eli and Lani shake their heads.

Claire turns up at Ben’s and finds Evan instead. She doesn’t know who he is and she asks how he got in. He lies that the door was open. Claire soon realizes who he is. She tries to lie that she thinks he’s the guy from the gym but Evan realizes she’s on to him. He asks who she is. She tells him. She tries to go and he stops her. She asks what he’s there for. He’s there to kill Ben. In the meantime, he’ll figure out what he’s going to do to her.
